Our car was in an accident and we took it to Midwest Auto Body of Lisle (one of the body shops on our insurance company list). Even though Amish knew the car most likely would get totaled meaning it was no work for his shop, he was extremely helpful and submitted the estimate of the needed body work to the insurance company. He helped us out with some additional recommendations on rental car, etc. He was helpful and honest and we would highly recommend him to take good care of customers.

Amish and his team are professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Four cars in the family and we do not go to any other body shop. In addition, he is heavily invested in the community and gives his time and donations to support the local school district.

My car was returned in perfect condition and cleaner than it had been in years. The owner was absolutely 100% honest/forthright in everything he said between what parts he expected to replace and how long the crash repair would take.I felt that the service I received was well above average. and certainly markedly better than at the franchise shops that now seem to be the standard. If there is any fault at all it has to do with my car being clean. Now my wife is insisting that I keep the car cleaner. My wife says that apparently its not permanent dirt that accumulates on my car. It looks so much better, shes no longer embarrassed to drive or ride in it. Now she says I have to keep my car clean from now on because now it looks great..sigh...FYI - I performed body work MANY years ago and even I could find no fault with their workmanship.

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from the owners informing me that the final price will be LOWER than the estimate. They could have easily kept the extra money but chose to do the right thing. Very ethical and upright people who could be trusted.

Staff was really helpful in making me understand the challenges of non brand auto accessories when purchased online compared to the factory one. Service provided was top notch. This would be my go to place for any body works in lisle.

I stopped by Midwest Auto Body of Lisle to have a problem fixed which could have required very expensive body work, or a work around. Amish Patel fixed the problem without having to take my car apart. When I asked how much I owed, he refused to take my money and instead suggested I make a contribution to the Lisle Educational Foundation. BTW-the contribution is a tax deduction for me, not Midwest Auto Body. Apparently, the Patels do this routinely. Kudos!

I wish I could rate Midwest Auto Body of Lisle higher than 5 stars because Amish and his team absolutely deserve it. They absolutely eliminate the notion that the auto repair industry is untrustworthy.I was paying for my service out of pocket, so I wanted to find a quality shop that would not overcharge me. I live in Chicago, but used to work in Lisle, so I decided to search for a shop in this area. The shop had solid reviews and was open on Saturday, so I decided this would be the spot to get my first estimate. It turned out to be my last as well.I walked into the shop and requested Amish after having talked to him on the phone. We reviewed the damage on my vehicle. I needed some plastic pieces replaced near my front drivers side wheel. I had the service quoted a few years back and it came out to be $1,000-1,2000, but the shop who quoted the repairs just went in a back room and whipped up a quick number. Amish sat me down and pulled up his quoting software and showed me every part he was going to order to fix my vehicle. The quote came out to ~$455. I was SHOCKED! Amish then explained that would be the preliminary quote and then knew what could possibly be wrong with other parts of the vehicle and showed me how the estimate may increase. The increase was going to be based on internal damage that could only be seen when the car was taken apart. The increase came out to be equivalent to what the other shop had originally quoted, so I figured it wouldnt hurt to have the service performed here. At this point I was sold on Midwest Auto Body of Lisle. The story doesnt end here though.Amish had a solution to all of my concerns. As I mentioned, I live in the city, so I asked Amish if he could help accommodate my schedule. I warned him that I may not be able to pick my car up for two weeks. He was willing to work around my ability to get back out to the suburbs and didnt bat an eye when I asked. I was concerned about leaving my car outside his shop for so long. He assured me that every night his team parks all of the cars in their care in the shop for extra security. Finally, he even drove me to the Lisle Metra train station in his own personal car so I would not have to walk.Amish and team had the repairs completed only 3 business days after I dropped my car off. NOT ONLY DID THEY MEET THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE, BUT AMISH HAD ORDERED AN EXTRA PART AND DISCOUNTED THAT FROM THE ESTIMATE!!!! This was a $4 part that he could have easily left on the final invoice without me knowing, but he had the INTEGRITY to make sure I was only paying for the service and parts required for the job.He worked with me to pick my car up 4 business days after that. This included picking me up from the Metra station again and keeping his shop open an additional 45 minutes so I could pick up my car. Finally, his team even detailed my car without me asking.Talk about customer service. I really cant thank Amish and team enough. GO TO MIDWEST AUTO BODY OF LISLE IF YOU NEED BODY WORK COMPLETED!!!!

Amish and his team helped me to keep my used (new to me) Jetta TDI from being totaled after driving it back from Texas and getting rear end and that was in 2013. He spent a lot of time making phone calls and sourcing parts to make it work for me instead of just moving it through as fast as possible to get to the next customer. He helped me again in 2016 when my Wifes truck got hit and insurance again wanted to total it. Just a few weeks ago my Mother was in a fender bender and I recommended Amish and his team to my mom.
