I got a good deal on a 2021 Accord. The salesman was very helpful.The service department was terrible. I had to wait in line for 30 minutes before getting my car checked in. Brought it in for a remote start install and a set of splash guards.I called the next morning during business hours. A human finially answered after my 4th call. I was told that my vehicle ready to be picked up.I arrived at the service center and was told at the splash guards were not installed.Drove home with the loner and the salesman delivered my car to me a few hours later. Splash guards were still not installed. Evidently they were put on a different silver Accord. Finally got my car a day later.I will save money and frustration by going to an independent mechanic

Let me start by saying they treat you with respect here, no bait and switch and no false hope. If they can make you a deal they make you a good one. If you want a smooth sailing experience just walk in and ask for HERI GAYTAN because I’ve been to HERI twice and purchased two cars over a 3 year period and HERI has not let me down. HERI is honest people and trust me you’ll have a great experience if you go to this place compared to other Honda dealerships. Thankyou HERI, keep up the good work.

On Friday, August 28, 2020, I purchased a 2018 Honda CRV from Honda of Joliet. I was told that a trained Honda technician put the vehicle through a comprehensive 182-point inspection. Within days I noticed a noise coming from the front driver’s side and faulty brakes. On Monday, August 31, I was back at the dealership to have the vehicle I had just purchased in for service. The dealership found the issue to be the tires and ordered new tires for my vehicle. This took more than two days after waiting for the sales manager Javier to approve the sale. I picked up my vehicle on Thursday evening, noticing that Javier purchased Advanta Tires (please click on Advanta for more info.) to replace the brand-new Bridgestone tires that were originally on the vehicle at the time of purchase. Looking online, Consumer Reports found the Advanta had an average tread life of 44,500 miles compared with an average of 71,000 miles for all the tires. Additionally, no US retailer sells these tires!At this point, I was very disappointed in the level of service and lack of attention to detail this dealership has taken. When I spoke with Javier he was very dismissive and gave a very inadequate explanation. As I drove the car home, I noticed the noise I was hearing before was worse. Now, I must make an appointment with another Honda dealer and purchase new reliable, quality tires.I left the dealership very disappointed. The next morning I found the owners of the dealership, The Korallus Family, who own Honda of Joliet, Honda of Lisle, and Infiniti of Naperville. I emailed the three members listed as owners. Mike Korallus of Infiniti Naperville was the only owner to respond to my email. After speaking with Mike, I felt more at ease. However, here we are Tuesday, September 7 and no resolution. I would have loved to write a rave review on how happy I am with my purchase, sadly that is not the case. This dealership is taking advantage, putting their consumers at risk. I cannot believe that this dealership purchased counterfeit tires to place on my vehicle, this is especially alarming since all of the vehicles on their lot have quality tires such as Bridgestone, Continental, and Michelin.DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP OR ANY OF THE OTHERS THIS FAMILY OWNS.

Be careful, very careful of what they are selling you. We were looking for a Honda Pilot Limered edition and they wanted to sell us a regular Honda Pilot at the same price as the Limited. They actually bring us to see the regular Honda Pilot and said that it is a limited edition, thank God my husband said to them that that was not the car we want. Then they said that the Limited one its on its way to dealership.

Did a great job on my car by having her serviced quickly. They also washed her for me and changed the rear windshields blade (Plastic part) with no extra cost. Obviously there is a pro- active manager who cares about customer satisfaction.

Cool place to go for service but theyre a rip off when it comes to sales. Went to buy a vehicle, this guys were trying to charge topline prices and not budging. As all smart people do...I took my business elsewhere & paid a reasonable price. I still go here for service though.

Purchased a new CR-V in 2018 from this dealer. With a little over 27,000 miles on it, I recently came in with a coupon they sent me for a Express $44.95 oil change/tire rotation/multi point inspection. Waited hour and 20 minutes, then tried to sell me another $560 worth of “recommended” work which I declined. Didn’t question why the car was returned unwashed, but next day realized tires were never touched. Then realized the air filter marked as ok on inspection was filthy. Pulling the dipstick I found it still had dirty oil and saw old oil filter never changed. When I returned, tried to blame me, said I denied oil change (but they charged me), then said I’d have to wait 1 1/2 to 2 hours or more if I wanted it corrected that evening or come back again. Sent pictures to dealership and demanded a refund that took 3 weeks to get. Service was recently done by someone else. Taught me to always check the oil is clean after oil change service. Will never do business with this dealership again.

Wasted a lot of hours in the one uncomfortable dealership showroom & offices. On the bright side, they serve cold water. But please, do better.

The best part is they have a recording in the beginning of the phone call stating they will record this call for customer satisfaction. Just today I went to the service department for the first time since I bought the car and they were again phenomenal. DO NOT DO BUISSNESS HERE!!!! I JUST SAVED YOU MONEY. This company knows they are being sued right now in Illinois because a man lost power steering on the highway due to SOY-based wires being chewed by rodents. They refused to cover rodent damage in their warranty which they dont tell you till after you buy the car btw. However, they should be covering all damages because SOY is an edible product. VERY RUDE WORKERS, the customer service here is terrible. They basically are trying to get you off the phone ASAP. 0 stars if possible.

My family has purchased two brand-new cars from this location within the past three years. The specific matter I’m writing about is related to the car I purchased last October - a 2020 Honda Accord.Over the course of the past six months or so, the brakes on the Accord have consistently made loud and annoying squeaking noises. It has now been at the Lisle store’s service center 3 times for this issue, and for a total of approximately 20 hours (efficiency doesn’t seem to be their forte, but that’s not the main issue.)Each time, I’ve been told that the brakes were “cleaned” and that the technicians didn’t really detect any significant issues. But after the last service visit, I was told by the service rep that the brakes were likely inferior factory-equipped products and were showing signs of wear faster than they should be. That said, he believed the “significant” cleaning they were given should resolve the issue or at least buy me some time. Two days later, the squeaking was more noticeable than ever before.A couple weeks ago, I visited the store to get my car washed and schedule what would be the 4th visit to address the issue. I made it clear to the service rep that I did not want to bring the car back in unless I could be guaranteed that this 4th visit would fix the issue for once and for all - even if it meant replacing the brake pad(s). I also mentioned to her that I’m very close to the end of my 1-year warranty and would not want want to miss out any additional coverage that might provide.I wish I had paid closer to the name of the agent I spoke with during that visit. To put it mildly, she was rude, unprofessional and extremely unaccommodating. She offered no apologies for the persistent issue, and when pressed to guarantee it would be resolved and potentially covered under warranty if proven to be a manufacturer’s defect, she could only offer that they would have to take another look and could make no promises.While that response may seem borderline reasonable when written out, the way she delivered it sent a very different message. I even went so far to say to her that I didn’t want to be difficult, but I had never experienced any issues like this with a car before…and especially not one that’s less than a year old. She said nothing in response and gave me a look that made it clear I was out of line and getting on her last nerve.Unfortunately, the treatment I received from her isn’t all that far from what my overall experience addressing the brake issue has been. Never have I felt more like a “number” and like I was inconveniencing a seller for wanting to address a very real and persistent issue with the product I purchased from them. I’m typically a reasonable person, and not one who makes a habit of posting online rants like this, but my patience has reached its limit.I decided not to move forward with the 4th appointment until after I escalated the issue with corporate (I’m currently awaiting their response.) Quite frankly, I can’t give up my car for another 6-8 hours without a guarantee the issue will finally be fixed, even if that involves installing new parts.Is this a matter of Honda of Lisle not wanting to admit the car needs new parts, especially while still under warranty? Would hate to think so, but that is more and more appearing to be the case. Either that or they simply don’t care what happens after you’ve made your initial purchase.

I took my Accord in 8/14 at 10:00 a.m. for an oil change & tire rotate and was quoted 1.5 hours wait (given it was a Saturday, that was reasonable). I got a ride home. At noon, I hadnt heard anything, so called. After being routed to 3 different people, I got the answer we dont know how long it will be, well call you when its done. No apologies, nothing. Finally at 1:08 p.m., Im called to say the car is done. It looks like the servicing was properly done, but quoting 1.5 hours wait when its really over 3 hours is bad practice. Either youre lying so that people wont balk and go somewhere else (based on a very long wait time) or youre incompetent and dont know how to run your service shop efficiently.

Had a great experience buying my 2021 CRV Hybrid at the Honda Superstore of Lisle. Mike Harvey was knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with, and never once gave my wife and I the hard sell. We took his card and told him wed call him back, and Im sure he thought hed never see us again. But a week later I called back, and he helped me get the exact car I wanted from another dealer, and honored the lower price he quoted me the first day. The actual purchasing of the car (signing the documents, etc.) went more smoothly than any other car purchase Ive experienced. Overall, we were very pleased with the whole transaction.

Bought a new Honda CRV back in late June from Amir due to my wife’s car being totaled in the tornado. Amir assured me many times the car has remote start thru the phone app and I trusted him. A week after I purchased i try to get it set up for remote and big surprised this trim does not offer it. Since the remote start thru phone app does not show on paper anywhere they will not honor it. Manager don’t care and won’t do anything about it. I will buy more hondas in the future but never from this place.

I purchased 3 brand new cars from this dealership, salesman Sager was the best and buying experience was really good, but when it comes to service it really sucks. I have always not happy with service guys being not friendly and finding excuses to not do the job.My most recent leased car is a pilot 2020, for the last year, I noticed popping and cracking, and although I made a lot of visits until this problem kind of solved, but sound still distorted, not clear and when calling people over Bluetooth I sound noisy to others.Another problem that still going on is that the front radar system is not working properly, it looks miss-alighted. Every time I go they say that they can’t recreate the problem!For the past two days, have been calling and the service guys don’t take calls!! The problem is that you can’t walk in for service like they do at Vally Honda 👍🏼, you must call and they don’t want to answer calls. Really annoying 👎🏻

My first experience at Honda in Lisle was phenomenal! On a busy morning I worked with Ken L. who was friendly, enthusiastic, and empathetic. He greeted me promptly, gave me an estimated time of completion (offering a ride home), and provided a rough idea of what could cause the issues I was experiencing. After 45 minutes Ken checked in with me to explain what was wrong with the car, how much it would cost, and how long it would take (he also did this after I filled the online form). The cars service was completed in less time than initially quoted, he gave me a bill for less money than originally quoted (already a great price), and told me the next steps.I scheduled a visit on a Friday afternoon and was sent a confirmation of my appointment. I requested an oil change and a bulge in the sidewall of my tire. I am about to embark on a long road trip and know that bulging sidewall is never a good sign.When I arrived at 1:30 I was greeted by Gene. After explaining how I had an appointment set Gene went to my car, took my VIN, and explained my service visit as oil change and tire rotation (seemingly ignoring my actual issue noted on the website). I explained the issues and mid explanation Gene looks hurried while checking the clock on the wall.I apologize, understanding it is a Saturday, they close early, and nobody wants to stay late. I explain how it is a last minute service because of my concern and upcoming road trip. Gene says yeah and its a Saturday, Ill have to see if I even have a tire in stock, most of the time its just a curb forcing the tire to pinch after explaining the bulge and the possibility of it growing with air seeping in.He asks me to sit in the waiting area, after one and a half hours I look out to see my car finally being put on the lift which I found surprising after making a confirmed appointment. Gene sees me multiple times throughout the hour and half and the hour afterwards without providing update. At 3:30 Gene says my name across the room and starts telling me the diagnosis. My car had no noise in the front according to his service tech who drove it around when the noise was only audible when the suspension was pushed up/down (I demonstrated this when I first arrived). He tells me how my battery Failed their test being only 8 CCA under what it was last time they told me it was Fair. This is what he spent the most time discussing with me, the one thing I did not come for.The oil change was in progress and my tire was ok to drive on, even for a road trip. I asked if they looked at the interior of the tire to confirm no damage and Gene stumbles while telling me yes and there are no problems.Gene has failed to tell me a price or estimated time of completion. 3:45PM Gene tells me my car is getting washed. 4:00PM I finally see my car pull up to the service entrance. Gene is nowhere to be found but my paperwork is sitting on his desk. I ask the cashier if I can just check out, she finds Gene for me, and he proceeds to explain how everything is ok and to have a safe trip. 4:10PM I finally leave.Overall lack of care for my time, safety, or finances. I confirmed ten minutes later at a discount tire, they took five minutes to tell me it was a major issue (without trying to even make a sale) and was unsafe to drive on.Gene was unable to provide eye contact, emphasized how inconveniencing I was from the start, and failed to do any more than the absolute minimum his job required.I saw at least a dozen interactions with other service members while waiting. All other interactions I witnessed contained apologies for delays, emphasis on customers patience, and explanation of issues.I get it, nobody wants to be at work late on a Saturday afternoon. I also understand having a busy day and being backed up unexpectedly. At least decline an appointment if you do not believe you can provide the same level of service your customers come to expect on every other day of the week. This seems like a good dealer with some bad apples.Update: Found my rim destroyed upon inspecting at home.

We scheduled an appointment to both have service done on our Honda Odyssey and to purchase a new vehicle. We were not disappointed with Honda Superstore of Lisle. Michael from service checked in our Odyssey for service and was super helpful in explaining what needed to be done and explained all recalls that would be performed. While we waited on our vehicle being serviced we had the pleasure of working with our salesperson Manny. He was such a wonderful person to work with through the process of buying a vehicle. He was knowledgeable on the process, answered all of our questions and facilitated a speedy purchase. My disabled sister-law was looking for a new, 2 door coupe specifically a Honda. We live in northern Lake County and were working with Mike at Pauly Honda in Libertyville. He explained that Honda would not be offering 2 door Civic coupes in 2021. He advised us there were only 3. 2020 coupes left in Illinois. One was at Honda of Lisle. He stated he has worked with the dealership in Lisle and he gave them very high marks. We drove to Lisle and met with Amir. We informed Amir we were there only to see the 2 door coupe. He was most helpful and showed us the Civic coupes they had in inventory. Even though we did not purchase a vehicle there, Amir was extremely helpful and explained all the features of the car. Upon leaving, he even provided us with bottles of water as it was extremely hot that day. Amir and the entire staff at the dealership were very friendly. I would recommend this dealership to everyone.

I went in to help my brother purchase a 2021 Honda Odyssey and trade-in his 2018 Odyssey. I let them know the condition of the trade-in (a missing key fob and and a sliding door motor that needed repair) as well as its mileage and VIN# and asked them to give me an approximate “rough trade-in” in value. They came back with an insultingly low trade-in value and I was told that the manager wouldn’t offer more even upon seeing the vehicle no matter what. As for negotiating a selling price I was quoted their absolute best sales price which was significantly MORE than other local dealers had quoted me for an identical vehicle. They outright refused to match anyone else’s appraisal value and outright refused to match any other dealer’s quoted price in order to earn our business. Salespeople all seem nice but honestly don’t waste your time here. Poorly run management. Almost seems like they’re content being mediocre. There are much better deals everywhere else. Don’t go and waste your time here.

Bought a certified pre-owned Accord here a few years ago and have had nothing but problems with it since I got it, including engine problems. After visiting their service department 3 times, I called the sales manager who had been a part of the sale and told him about all of the issues I was having, and he told me if I came in he would talk to me about a solution. So I drove an hour to the dealership, and when I arrived and asked to speak with him, he walked out the door to put up some signs in the parking lot and told his employee to tell me he wasnt there. I pointed to him in the parking lot, and they said he wouldnt speak to me. At one point, the engine shut down while I was driving it and I had to get it towed, and their service department still denied there was a problem with the car. The car was under warranty, and they still refused to fix it. I drive on the freeway often, and it became dangerous to drive the car. I called corporate and was sent to another dealership that was great and fixed the issue. I do not recommend this dealership at all.

I recently purchased a 2020 Honda HR-V LX AWD from Salesman Heri Gaytan. Heri was honest, welcoming, personable, and straightforward - he wasnt afraid of cutting to the chase and showing us the numbers. No sugarcoating or beating around the bush. He was also very knowledgeable and thoroughly answered all of our questions. Please take note that this was the FOURTH dealership we visited in a little over a week. I also advise dismissing very poor ratings/reviews, as all experiences are highly subjective! I will be recommending Honda Superstore of Lisle to friends and family, and I will definitely return in the future for auto service and/or a new vehicle. Honda Superstore of Lisle is Excellent! We were greeted by a very friendly staff who were ready to help us. I would like to specially mention Mr Kabeer Shaikh who helped me test drive a Honda CR-V and also was quick to understand my need. You would think that a Honda Dealership would strive to have good customer service. This of course is not the case when it comes to this specific location. When you are told something, you would like to believe it’s the truth, but this customer service department is filled with liars. “I’ll call you back”.... 3 weeks later still waiting.... This is a recall item.... o wait I lied and since you didn’t do it right away you missed the warranty.... complete garbage If I could have given - stars I would have.... they will never see another penny from me... My wife and I were both in the market for new cars and dreading the whole car buying process. We put it off for months before deciding we needed to just do it. After a haphazard attempt to prepare ourselves, we ended up at Honda of Lisle where we met Scott while we were looking around. He was immediately helpful and not only found us the particular blue Civic EX Hatchback we were looking for, but offered to let us test drive it even though it was late on a Friday. We came back the following afternoon and he had the blue car alongside a red so we could compare colors. When we decided wed like to also see white and black, he was amenable to that as well.Throughout the entire sales process we never felt pressured or like we were being unreasonable with our expectations on price or trade in value--our biggest fears going in. The negotiation was never muddled with hidden or surprise fees. What wed be paying out the door was plainly laid out for us.I thought for sure our luck would change once we got to the financing department, but Shawn was just as great to work with. He didnt bat an eye when my wife said she had already secured her own financing. Years ago, we were made to feel like fools for using our own financing. We agreed to let him try to get her a better rate, but when he couldnt he didnt try to dissuade her with fuzzy math. I was set to take the Honda promotional financing, but Shawn was able to improve on that for me. He even worked with us on the extended warranties, offering different year/mileage levels to match our driving habits. It was surprisingly quick and painless, and the electronic document signing on the desk-sized screen was really cool.Our whole experience with Honda of Lisle really dispelled our fears about buying cars. Turns out it can be easy and pressure free after all. I highly recommend purchasing a car from here. Ask for Scott.

Poor customer service. Went to get an estimate and to schedule work on my car. I was ignored by three separate sevice providers. Once I finally was granted an audience with a service provider I explained that I was new to the Honda brand and inquired about a loaner car while my work was being done. I was told they are only for people who have broken down I chose to take my business to Valley Honda instead where I received great service.

Got my car serviced for tire rotation, as soon as I left heard a terrible noise coming from the front right tire. Took it another Honda dealership who said to me the tire “literally came right off” when they lifted it up and pulled on it. Worst part is, when I contacted the service manager to inform him of this serious safety hazard, he refused to help, denied involvement, and even tried to blame it on me. Too bad I can’t dish out a 0 star rating. I will never, ever return to this dealership.

I am blown away, I dont know where to begin. After years of terrible experiences with other Honda service departments I have finally found one that actually cared about me and my car. I didntt feel like just a dollar sign walking in the door. Heather went above and beyond as did Christian (the technician) and the porters. THEY VACUUMED MY CAR!!! I am over the moon happy about the entire thing. When I got in my car I actually screamed in excitement. If I would of been here years ago I would of stayed with Hondas moving forward. If you can take your car here for service, do it! Never go to Napelton in Oak Lawn or the Honda in Orland on 159th. Avoid them at all cost. I can not stress enough that it is worth the trip to go to Lisle. Thank you again Heather, you are amazing :)

This is suppose to be the dealer that is partnered with Costcos Auto Buying program. I called the dealer and they asked me to make an appointment so that they can assign me a Costco Program Salesman. When I reached there, they assigned me a salesman (K. Sheikh) who, is NOT a Costco Program Salesman. I told the salesman that for the Costco Auto buying program, they were to give me a legit print out of the Costco Auto Buying Program price for the car I was there to purchase. The salesman, instead, gave me handwritten price, saying the Costco system was down.This is a red flag and I just walked out of the dealership. I called Costco and explained them what had happened and the mentioned that the dealership cannot give a handwritten price and as a Costco member, I am entitled to a printed Costco Member price sheet from them. They were going to investigate this as well.Stay away from this dealership the this salesman.

Our salesperson, Sager, was very helpful and accommodating. He provided all the information I needed without pressuring me to make a same day decision. When I came back on a busy Saturday, he was really hustling to meet our needs (in addition to the needs of others he was taking care of). He took plenty of time to show my how to set up and use all the features of my new Accord even though he was juggling multiple things. The service department didnt charge me for the diagnostic fee on the old car I traded in. This is our 4th car from this dealership, and we continue to be very happy with the service.

Make sure you read the fine print on any promise of free oil changes- or you will spend your afternoon wasted for a $47 dollar plus oil change!!!! I had purchased a certified pre-owned Honda and was promised 2 free oils changes....little did I know there was a time window PLUS the oil change light had to come on. That was NOT explained at all during the original purchase.

Compared to the service received at other Honda dealerships, the service here is just awful. So many mistakes, wrong parts ordered, nit picking over coupons, etc. The only reason to go here is because they take the Costco discount, however be prepared for the worst.

Our salesman Heri was great and took time to make us comfortable and explain all options. Store is very clean and all other personnel we dealt with were incredible. Buying process went quick and easy. I feel we got a great deal and happy to have picked this store for our new Honda.
