Took 43 days to change out a transmission in an Acura. Claimed they were short handed.the transmission was going to be there in 5 days. 21 days later (when they were contacted, not the other way around ) said oh yea your transmission was shipped to the wrong place. Fair enough, not happy, but ok. 18 days later. (when they were contacted, not the other way around, again ) They now have the old transmission out and the new one in, just need time to finish up. This is Friday morning 8:30am. Friday afternoon 5:00pm didnt finish. Monday was a holiday. Day 42 4:30pm Tuesday I go down there. Still not done, said tomorrow. Wednesday...Transmission was finally finished. Got a decent discount on labor. Too little, too late. Wont go back EVER again.

Send out a message reminding you of your appointment - EXTREMELY HELPFUL!! Also, they do great work and dont charge an arm and a leg. They are usually booked around a month out, so plan accordingly!!

These guys were awesome. They were nice and fixed my RV while I was on a road trip by myself. They took mud daubers out of a pressure release valve instead of charging me an arm and an leg for something I really did not need, and they fixed the leaks left by the mechanic I saw the day before. They were able to get me back on the road the same days and were honest and great about it. I love them and would recommend them to anybody. My heroes.

Trying to get in touch with this garage in the early morning to get a quote before sending a wrecker to their shop was frustrating. The time for opening is 8am, at 8:30 the automated answering service was still taking calls with no option for a recording a message. A few minutes to get in the office is usually a given but 30 mins and still no one in the office is excessive.. now if the quote is high it’s another $80 tow to the house because I can fix the issue myself but I’m out of town.Update; the quote for an alternator is $500 that’s $100 for the part and an hour of labor at $400.

This is my fourth time at this location. The staff members are always courteous and fair with pricing. They do a quality job, in a timely manner, without trying to impose additional services. They are extremely knowledgeable and I feel confident leaving my car in their hands. Thank you so much for the great service.

I totally agree with the other reviews! West End Garage has been the most honest and courteous place I have ever brought my car to for repairs. They deliver the greatest customer service and fairest prices Ive ever seen in such a business. I came in yesterday because my car had a gas line leak. The ladies at the front were very nice and helpful when I came in, and although the whole place was busy, the mechanics brought my car in to take a look and give me the scoop of what needs to happen and for how much. The guys were very nice and informative by showing me the section of the gas line that needed replaced and gave me the best, most affordable solution. They did not pressure me at all, and gave me a very good price estimate and told me I could come back tomorrow morning and they will have the part for me and squeeze me in their tight schedule to make sure my car is dependable again (I live in Kansas City, Mo and have to drive 6 hours home). I came back this morning and they gave me a warm welcome back before starting work on my car. I hadnt eaten anything and when lunch time hit I was so hungry I was starting to feel weak. Thats when the ladies offered to drive me somewhere to get lunch! After one of the ladies took me out to pick up some food, I felt loads better. Not long after that, one of the mechanics came out and showed me my old gas line that they had removed. It was rusted so bad that it crumbled in half! The mechanic told me that they had just finished up and that another mechanic is out test driving my vehicle. When my car returned I was relieved she was no longer leaking or smelling like gas! If I am ever back in the area and need anything for my vehicle I am definitely coming back to West End Garage. I HIGHLY recommend!!!!

DO NOT USE! My car has been in this shop 3 times for the same problem. Every time they keep it for over a week before they even look at it, and it takes another week to fix it. Weve spent $2,000 on their recommendations and our car is STILL not working. Customer service is poor, and there is no empathy for the collective weeks my family has been down a car. I used this place because of the good reviews, but am shocked at how bad this place has been. If you dig into their reviews, half of them appear to be fake or from employees, and theres no negatives, which I find very suspicious. I will be filing a complaint with the AGs office about this business, to hopefully help other folks avoid the runaround and financial hardship my family has dealt with. This is the kind of garage fathers warn their little girls about.

Cant say enough good things about these folks! They got the air going in my 04 Jeep - there was a hose that needed replacing but was on back order so they got one fabricated locally - they stuck with it and made it happen. Wherever you are in town its worth taking your car down to Stagecoach Road. Wayne will get it FIXED!

I have been taking all my cars to West End Garage for over 10 years. They will diagnose the trouble and call you with an estimate on the total cost of the repair before they do the work. That way you know what it will cost and not show up to pick up your car and get a big surprise. They use actual labor costs for the work and not charge you four hours for a one hour job. You will pay the actual cost of the parts with only maybe a slight markup. Receipts have a line by line listing of charges, so you arent questioning Hey, whats this charge?. An honest repair shop is hard to find, but West End Garage is that shop.

I finally found a garage that I can trust and that has real mechanics! These people are not parts changers! I run a fleet of service trucks and have been ripped off in almost every way possible by crappy, so called mechanics. Unfortunately, many people who can afford to buy a Snap On Tool box do so, and then think this makes them a professional mechanic! I am a certified tech myself and I know this business, but when I need something fixed and cannot do it myself, It goes to West End. Top notch service people.
