WOW!! We ordered a 10 inch round cake for our daughter’s birthday with chocolate sponge, cool whip filling, and Swiss meringue buttercream. It was easily one of the best cakes we’ve ever eaten in our lives. The decoration was perfect, the cake was moist, and the Swiss meringue buttercream wasn’t too sweet (exactly what we hoped for!). Even the fondant decorations were extremely tasty and were gobbled up! This cake was worth every penny and we enjoyed it for days. We will be ordering all our future celebration cakes from Blue Cake! Thank you for helping to make our kid’s birthday extra wonderful!

On short notice they whipped up the most amazing cupcakes for my 5 year old sons birthday. Very unique and the quality of the cupcakes were amazing.

Got my grandma’s 93rd birthday sweets here, she loved them!!! She ate a whole chocolate pie 😀

We used this company for our sons 3rd birthday. They did an absolutely wonderful job! We did the Red Velvet and its the best we have ever had! We will be using them again in the future, as long as we are still living in the area. Thank you!!

Very nice and friendly staff. If they have it...try the rum cake! So delicious! I took my husband home a mini cherry pie and he really enjoyed it. We also got a selection of petit fours and they were also very good. The only thing we found odd was a couple of our chocolate choices were not chocolate cake. I wish that would have been clear and I almost gave 4 stars because of it...but the rum cake and the awesome staff makes a solid 5 stars.

I was on the fence about coming here but then I read the reviews and see that the owner takes health seriously as far as COVID-19 protocol and we decided to check it out! More owners need to have a backbone and speak up for their employees and customers when there is a pretentious individual that feels that the rules do not apply to them. The pies could taste horrible (which they don’t. They are delicious) and I would still support this business. Keep doing what you are doing. 👍🏾

Wanted something sweet this afternoon. So many yummy choices! I got the mini coconut cream pie and a raspberry pettifor. Both were very good. Loved the buttery pie crust and the filling was perfect not overly sweet. Definitely will have to stop by to try the others.

I can’t keep a dozen of the petit fours in my house for more than 3 days.My favorite are the almond, coconut, vanilla, Italian cream cake and southern caramel.I suggest cutting them in half and switching the tops and bottoms to create your own flavor combinations. My favorite mix is almond and coconut or coconut and Italian cream cake.I will say I was disappointed in the peanut butter, Nutella, and cookies and cream flavors. I didn’t get much of the flavor just an over powering chocolate. Those are the flavors I’d improve but blue cake is solid.

Sweet tooth heaven!!! Recently Honey Pies was acquired by Blue Cake, which is another of my favorite places in town. They have a great selection of fresh pies to choose from. Today I learned they do special orders too. I’ll defiantly be back to try a special order.

Just tried to buy cookies and this guy started grabbing cookies with no gloves! I asked, You dont have any gloves? He stated blankly, no. I left immediately. If you dont care about my health and I am the customer what else have you been doing back there? I was a long time customer with a 5 star previous review. No longer.

Custom cake came out great, was a big hit and very dense yet still moist and cakey. Was able to do buttercream for it (Toddlers dont wanna eat fondant lol) and it didnt melt in the car during the long drive to grandmas house - success!

Stopped in for lunch and we tried the cinnamon roll and the chocolate fudge brownies pie. The chai latte and the good morning honey coffee ☕️ where amazing also 👍👍.

Highly recommend this bakery and coffee shop! A service is only as good as their customer service.My daughter and I stopped by for coffee and a treat last week and both were so divine I ordered my daughter’s bday cake to pick up later in the week. When I stopped back later in the week to pick up, cake top wasn’t right. I asked for redo and it got worse. I left not happy, but tried not to make a scene.About an hour later the owner called and asked to stop by to fix it. My cake wasn’t a fancy custom order. It was a pre-made from their case. To have the owner take time out of his Saturday night really impressed me. Way to go Honey Pies and Blue Cakes!!

I love it here. You can buy the individual little pies Popham in the microwave they lift right out of the aluminum foil pan you can heat it up and put it back in the pan to enjoy

This bakery is right up there with Mickeys. Only better because that have a wide variety of confections to satisfy your sweet tooth. I love the expanded eating area and that they offer Take-n-Bake quiches. I went by the store today because I need a specialy cake for my Anniversary. They a few different cakes in their standing refrigerator. It was excellent. I bought the strawberry cake with cream cheese AND buttercream icing, but I also highly reccomend the fudge pie and the cinnamon rolls.

You ladies need training on how to provide good customer service. Being defensive and aggressive in a online platform is not the way to deal with unhappy customer. It looks bad on you. I could not wait because I had been waiting for over 30 minutes and I really needed to leave.In 30 minutes nobody came to check on me.Indeed, one gentleman offered to fix the $80 cake but I could not stay any longer.The other ladies I had contact with have no idea what really good customer service is. I moved out to LR a year ago and have yet to find a place that makes good mochas (basic, I know but I love them). I went here for a treat, and was so happy with my delicious mocha! The petit fours and mini pies are also very good!

Went with the wife recently, folks have told us that it was a local shop they’d liked. Unfortunately the goods weren’t good, and the service wasn’t very nice either. A bit rude to be frank.

We just started taking our daughter to classes in this area. Its the only reason we come out this way. Well we dont need masks to attend class so we dont bring them. I have been debating for weeks in whether I wanted to try them or not because I have a major sweet tooth. Me and my husband just walked over there and upon seeing no sign requiring masks, there was one saying we couldnt enter is we had a cough, we went in. Immediately we were very rudely thrown out. So we will not be coming back with our masks next time we are in town.

I’m not use to the whole fondant thing with cakes. I ordered from here because I thought it would be delicious based on reviews. The cake was pretty, but the cake was hard. I expected it to be much easier to cut into it. The icing was super hard and thick that I couldn’t eat the vanilla cake with the icing at the same time, the icing separated from the cake. I should’ve ordered from the regular Walmart or Kroger cause I expected so much more for a 21st birthday cake.

My wife did a review earlier. We are not from around here and only come into town for one thing. One which we do not need a mask for. We have masks that we wear everywhere usually. Despite not having our masks we thought we would try this place. After carefully inspecting all the signs on the door and not alseeing a required masks sign we felt safe stepping inside. Had the employee politely redirected us we would have come back later this week with masks as my wife has been eyeing this place for a while now. But the employee was exceptiinally rude. The owner then felt the beed to insult my wife on the internet instead of investigating more. I have pictures of the front door with NO SIGN. So i dont feel like it is too much to ask for employees to be a bit more polite. Especially seeing as the business that we work for has a sign and our employees are not allowed to enforce it. So we saw no problem entering when nithing was posted. The owner has been rude and disrespectful and i will be telling everyone i know that the ownwer is rude and allows his employees to be also.

I called to make sure they had a key lime pie, and they did. When I got there it was boxed and ready to go. I was wanting a simple key lime pie and thats exactly what it was...sweet, tangy, smooth, amazing! And a great crust! I wish I would have taken a second to look through their selection but I was caught up in a nice conversation with the friendly staff. Will definitely go back.

I found the menu and saw that they had chicken salad and other lunch items, so I drove over on my lunch hour only to find that they do not serve lunch. I did buy a small pie and it was good. Just be aware before you go that they do not serve food anymore.

We live in an artisan age of goods and this is where its at for pies. Occasionally i will swing by here and grab a opossum pie for the wife and apple pie for myself. Service is always friendly and quick. There cookies and treats are all really good. Great place to get some hand made desserts. Its a little pricey, but worth the cost.

Pros: Its very spacious and clean! Great place to study or casually meet up as a group. It has a relaxed ambiance. It even has a couple of board games (mostly trivia.)Cons: Employees were not friendly, just very neutral. When I came in I greeted the person at the counter and they avoided eye contact. There was no coffee available which defeats the purpose of my visit as well.

I called to place an order for a Lemon Meringue pie. Lemon meringue is my grandpas favorite, I wanted to surprise him with it for Fathers Day. The person I spoke with on the phone assured me that placing an order was not necessary, he told me they always have lemon meringue pie available. Saturday rolled around, My boyfriend stopped in to pick up a pie, and was met with confusion from the employee he spoke with. He was informed that they do not have lemon meringue pie, in fact they rarely have them at all. The person I spoke with today blamed the mishap on new employees. Im very dissatisfied. I called 4 days ago to ensure that I could have this pie, now I dont even have the option to order one elsewhere because Fathers Day is tomorrow. My grandpa is not in great health, I hoped to brighten his day a little more with his favorite pie. Ill not give you my business in the future.

Nice clean place. I was so fearful it would turn out to be like a SB.... millennials and teens taking up the tables with laptops only. Surprisingly, this place has an enticing display case right at the entrance filled with sandwich and treat options. You walk into the seating area expecting a room that maybe seat a couple dozen people but it really opens up into an area filled with a number of seating spots with a great amount of room between tables to enjoy a bit of privacy. Prices are on par with service and Ill be frequenting this nice establishment.

The creme brulee. The banana pudding. The pie. The coffee. Need I say more? Honey Pies has a special place in my heart - theyve helped in a pinch on a few occasions. Open on days you wouldnt expect and service is great. The crust is amazing on the pies and their selections are all worth trying!

My husband and I found this little gem right before we moved from Little Rock. I really enjoyed everything we tried from there and we would go about twice a week for a couple of months. I never had a bad experience and the staff was always friendly and accommodating. Enjoy!

Honey Pies is a nice place to grab coffee and a bite to eat. The times Ive visited, service has been quick and the place nice and quiet. I can enjoy my breakfast or lunch, do a little work. The desserts that Ive had were really good!

Since being bought out by Blue Cake co the quality has gone WAY down. Recipes seem to have been changed as well as size of the product. We are long long time patrons of Honey Pies and so so sad to see it take this turn. We won’t be returning. Such a shame.

I really want to love this place. However, for a gourmet bakery, the pies dont taste gourmet quality. Dont get me wrong - they do taste good, but not incredibly good. A couple days ago, I swung by and ordered a personal-size pecan pie for $5. The crust was great, but the actual pie filling was a letdown. If Im paying a premium price for what amounts to a slice of pie, I expect a premium taste - sadly, I didnt get that. Ive had the same experience with some of their other pies. In all fairness, my wife tried their banana pudding that same day and enjoyed it a lot. As for their coffee, its okay (depends on the barista). Ill return to Honey Pies, but only occasionally.

I rarely write online reviews but this is a hidden gem in plain sight. Their pecan pies and banana cream pudding is the best I have ever eaten. The owner is always there and the service is the best. Can’t recommend this place enough.

After reading about Honey Pies in the Arkansas Times, I stopped in on the way to visit my daughter and newborn granddaughter! Glad I did stop and buy some mini pies to take. Absolutely delicious. My daughter and her hubby now have a reason to drive on down from Cabot and buy some Honey Pies. My daughter raved at how good they are. My sweet tooth is in total agreement! Now how to get those pies delivered to New Jersey....Today, Sept 4, 2017, I have returned to visit my daughter and granddaughter, and made a stop at Homey Pies. Glad I did. Food is delicious and cooked just right. The pies continue to tickle the pallet just right. Going to take a pie or 2 home to New Jersey.Dinner update, and dinner alert! I bought a chicken pot pie to bring back to my daughters house for tonights dinner. WOW, and, literally, OMG, it is so delicious! Thank you !

Their creme brûlée was delicious! I could see specks of the vanilla bean in the custard which was to die for. Coffee was solid as well. Had the apple pie, perfectly tart and sweet, can’t wait to try it with the ice cream they were setting up next time!

Amazing pies! We got a sampler pie where we could select a while bunch of different pie slices to make up a while pie. Each one we tried became our new favorite. You seriously cannot go wrong with any of these pies!

Tried a few breakfast items today. Cinnamon bun great but sweet for my diabetic tendencies. So ate a ham-egg-cheese croissant, that is a meal by itself. Tasted sausage roll, very nice that the sausage has some spice! Full disclosure, my daughter works there but I would have rated it the same without that.

This is the best pie in central AR. You get what you pay for. Ill drive almost an hour when I want a quality pie. You can call in orders for pickup which makes it a quick in and out.

Although there was a nice shabby chic atmosphere, the cases were almost empty. I got here 49 minutes after open so I think that the few pies that were in the case may have been from yesterday. The only option for breakfast was a sausage muffin (Like a blueberry muffin not McD muffin). I came because of the online menu and am very disappointed. They no longer have quiche so unless you want a sweet pie for breakfast I dont suggest honey pies. I left hungry with no breakfast.

Awesome pies. Crust is surprisingly good even when cold. Also brew a well balanced and quite tasty cortado that needed no sugar which is always a pleasant surprise.

Okay I drove 20 minutes to get here to have a slice of a fruit pie. They only have one option for Pie by the slice and its key lime. Or I could buy a peach pie for $25. For a place that specializes in pies they should have more variety.

Several visits here over the past year or so and have always come away happy. Awesome pies. Last visit the service was a bit indifferent but I was only there for the pies so I can overlook the service shortcomings. That was not experienced on previous visits.

The service was excellent during my time at this pie shop. The chocolate creme brulee was delicious and my husband enjoyed the seasonal strawberry pie. I also enjoyed the honey coffee during my time at the pie shop. We will return to the pie shop.

I so love this place if you want to go out with friends and family to chill eat and have a good time. This would be the place the workers there are so nice and friendly just love, love, love the whole atmosphere.

Always a treat to visit throughout the seasons to check out the different treats the ladies bake up. Always a variety with a couple of classics if you arent feeling adventurous. Today I bought their eggnog cheesecake(not really that great this go-round) and 2 strawberry cupcakes with vanilla buttercream. I have also had their apple pie, pecan pie, peanut butter cream pie, and a couple of others throughout my visit. Sorry all I have are 2 photos to add to the collection.

Coffee is great, Pies are amazing and Service is on point! There are always smiles when I go into Honey Pies. There is enough room for large groups or a table for 2 and a conversation!
