Being new to wearing glasses and just now contacts, I must say I was impressed with the treatment of the staff and I love the eye doctor! The young lady at the desk of the eye doctor Alyssa was awesome! She is so sweet and kind and answered all of my stupid questions about contacts that one could possibly ask..with a smile the whole time! I wouldnt go anywhere else because of great people like her!

I really enjoy my eye exam and the visit was really good it was only when I picked up my glasses when I felt a little bit some type of way.. During fitting when I asked for my glasses to be fitted closer because they slide when bending over everyone knows this is a pain to constantly push your glasses up.. well she kept telling me how she feels they should fit while I was telling her how I liked them personally to fit.

Coming to Stanton was my second choice. When I say that was the quickest eye exam I ever had. I was still sitting there waiting for more😂😂. The choices on glasses 😍.. I was like a kid in a candy store. Every one is nice, every one greeted you as you walked in . I felt very welcomed and I love both of my glasses 🤓

Awesome people here! My eye exam took no time. Also the nice people assisting with glasses were great too! They have many options for Men, even Safety Prescriptions! I was pleasantly surprised by all the Safety wear I got to choose from. I even got them with transitions! I will be coming back and referring other folks I work with.

The wait was way more then desired. But the doctor was nice and did a wonderful job with the examination. Probably the only thing that saved this review from 1 star.Updating my review: my RX for eyeglasses was incomplete. When I call to get a copy they refuse to give it to me.When I say my wait was more then desired, my appointment was at 11 a.m.. I arrived at 10:45 a.m. to check in. The physician Valerie Arnold did not see me until 1:45 P.M.!!I will never return. Horrible service.

Made a appointment for a Saturday over a week ago only to show up to be told that the days appointments where cancelled because the doctor had a emergency which i can understand but they did not even have the courtesy to call and let me know and the appointment was even confirmed the day before via text message. I even called the main number on the website only to be told that i was because i did not give them my email thats why i was not notified. I had to show up for my appointment to find out and it was to late to try and find some where else the same day this would have been my first time to use them and now i will never use them and will tell every one i know to stay away.

Im not usually one to leave reviews of a place that I visit unless they genuinely impress me with the quality of their product or service, my experience Stanton Optical on South University in Little Rock today was above and beyond excellent. I was assisted by Amber, and I got a little carried away and went over my budget. Once I got home, regretting going so far over my budget I called the store to discuss cheaper options. Amber, who not only provided excellent service at the store along with helping me pick out good frames showed that she also had excellent customer service over the phone. She was able to work with me and find a solution that got me much closer to my budget and I was still able to get exactly what I needed. If youre looking for somewhere to get quality glasses as well as Quality Service I highly recommend this location, and if shes working that day I would definitely recommend Amber to help you out. Get ready for a wait to exceed an hour and a half! They cram you in. We asked to come 20 mins later to our appointment they said wasnt possible yet then made us wait for an hr just to see doctor. Their special deal is a bait and switch. The glasses included are a selection of 4 glasses that look like they came out of urkles fish tank. In addition they are only for minor eye problems. If you need bifocals or other stuff then of course it wont work. To get what your hoping to get from what you see advertised your going to spend in excess of 200. Regardless of what they tell you this will be a fact. I am also very surprised to see reviews of everyone was nice as the secretary was quite snarky and rude not only to me but many here. One could hear the muttering of upset people. Secretarys response was Im just filling in. She would the proceed to ignore you.

Stanton Optical is by far one of the best stores to buy my eye’s needs. From my glasses to my contacts, they have it all. Their staff is very friendly and helpful.Andrea in the glasses department in particular is one of the best employees I ever met. She offered so much help and made sure my criteria’s were met. She had patience as I chose my frames with no rush. She helped calculate all my possible total outcomes with no fuss. She was easy to talk to and didn’t make anything awkward. Never met an employee like that, so I had to five star her.

I FINALLY found an optometrist that listened!!!! I have contacts that work for computer - glasses that I wear over the contacts for driving, and Im so happy I cant help but scream it out to the mountain tops! I work so much faster because Im not squinting, and my neck and back dont hurt like they did by leaning over to read the computer screen! When I put on my driving glasses, I see road signs perfectly, and have no trouble driving.

Got an exam and ordered a pair of glasses and sunglasses. Both pair arrived a lot sooner than I expected. Got my prescription right first shot. For some reason that seems to be difficult to do with my eyes. Definitely recommend

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! I scheduled an appointment almost a month in advance and without any courtesy call this company cancelled the appointment less than 24 hours from the appointment time and sent an email time stamped 6:01pm. Keep in mind the Little Rock location closed at 6pm. Had I not checked my email I would have driven over an hour tomorrow for an 9 am appt. for nothing. Plus they sent the email as if I requested the cancellation. A joke.. what if I had of taken time of work to patronize your establishment? I wish there was a negative star option because this would have been my first time being seen here. Horrible first impression and I definitely will just stick with my current eyecare provider.

You should never go to this shop since it completely scams your money and claims to sell costly glasses or lenses, but they just sell the cheap ones and bill you for the expensive ones. It was a complete waste of time and the worst experience Ive ever had.

I showed up Saturday hoping to be able to walk in and get an exam. Luckily, another patient had cancelled so I was able to be seen very quickly. Dr. Wood is very professional and to the point. He also talked to me about the issues I have with my eyes. Super fast and nice. Thank you!

Had my prescription done here, called to see if they had my pupillary distance and said they would do it if I came in. Went in and was told they wouldnt do it unless I bought my glasses from them. Terrible customer service, blatant bait and switch.

But Id also given her glasses Id bought elsewhere, and she fixed those too!! I offered to pay her for that, and she refused. I wish there were more managers like her out there in the world. Phenomenal service. Scheduling was quick. They got me into the office the next morning. Eye Dr and staff were professional and fun. I had a lot of questions and the Dr took extra time to visit with me an discuss all of my concerns. Walls upon walls of glasses to choose from. The staff in the store were very helpful. My glasses were ready in about an hour. I got a thorough eye exam for $59. The glasses shop applied the payment to the Dr toward my glasses. In all I got a full exam and 2 pair of really nice glasses with scratch resistant coating for $230 without vision insurance. They sent me home with my prescription so I can order more glasses if I need to. A million thanks.

Most everyone has been polite, but it took several weeks for my glasses to show up, and when they did they were wrong.I was assured they could fix them in house and they took the first pair that was delivered back.The second pair came in and was also wrong, which they knew, but sent them home with me anyway.I returned and asked for both pairs to get fixed and they informed me they would need me to come back in for a second eye exam.Not surprised. The exam they did on me was so short I can see why they didnt get the prescription correct.They have told me they will fix the glasses and give me the exam free of charge, but my confidence in them is totally broken.After getting these two pair of glasses I paid for fixed, I wont be returning.

I used Stanton for my last two eye exams and my first experience was great thats why I returned for my latest exam. Not so great this time. I was given the eye exam in less than 10 minutes probably closer to five minutes. From my experiences before on the exam they take longer than five or ten minutes. I even mentioned to the Dr. that it was a fast exam. I just blew it off thinking he was really good at his job or something. I did not get to purchase my glasses that day because I dont have lots of money nor insurance so I had to wait six months for new glasses then I went to an eye place to get my glasses the same day once I saved up the money. My prescription had not even changed from the way I could see through my glasses. I looked back on my paper work and they didnt even put my old prescription on the invoice like they did from the previous visit. Just the new prescription and they said they didnt keep on file that info from my fist visit for some reason I dont remember. I cant say anything about my prescription because I had to wait 6 months to even get it filled nor could I argue that my prescription was not correct because we didnt know what my previous exam was. So now Im wearing a pair of glasses that I still cannot read correctly out of which is very frustrating for someone with my income and no insurance. My previous paperwork showed my previous eye prescription and the latest and I like that. So I probably will not return because I cant afford mistakes when it comes to my eyeglasses. $100 is a lot to me and I have to save to get that hundred dollars. So unless I can afford to get glasses that day I have no leg to stand on. My experience was wonderful up until my getting my glasses filled. Having a wonderful experience is very important but my money actually pays for my glasses to be filled correctly.

UPDATE:Amber is the success of this facility. She makes the effort to provide good service. My complaint was addressed and I have what I need.Ordering my new glasses was a good experience. Delivery however consisted of being handed the glasses and being rushed out the door. She never sat down, didnt check to see if the fit correctly, and didnt offer to clean them, I had to ask. She said if I needed them lowered that I could spread the nose pads myself. I have another pair to pick up Monday but she will NOT be helping me.

Stanton Optical is the place to go!Amber worked with me several times to get glasses I was satisfied with. She had so much patience with me! She always called me by my name when I walked in. True Customer Service. Stanton has a huge selection of frames. One could spend all day looking for that special pair. Again, I cannot say enough about their service, selection, and friendliness. General manager was fantastic. The other woman not so much. She was handing me glasses left and right after i told her what i style i liked/didn’t like. Rolled her eyes at me and just walked off after i told her i didn’t what she had picked out. After the “package” review for my lenses and such she was getting irritated with me after i told her i didn’t plan on spending that much money. And she said “what you don’t have a budget then what can you spend then? How can you not have an idea.” While smacking her lips and banging on a calculator. At that time the GM walked by up and the other employee proceeded to continue with her attitude that i was having a hard time trying to figure out how i could afford $300. The GM helped me out with some more coupons and made sure i was satisfied. If you think racism doesn’t exist against certain white people you’re wrong. She treated the other customers who were not my race like royalty. I won’t be back, sadly. But major kudos to the GM.

At Stanton Optical the eye exam was perfect, fast, the workers were professional, and nice. On the flip side after going to the EYE GLASSES part. The associate Amber added many things on my receipt that I never agreed on, she lied and mentioned how I never told her I had insurance. Then when I asked for a refund she had an attitude. Horrible experience in the EYEGLASSES SECTION. She is a scam artist. Horrible Customer service and she’s the “manager” . The eye exam is perfect though!

Awesome service and knowledgeable employees. The store manager (Amber) went above and beyond in making sure my glasses were perfect. Remade my glasses once (and when they still didnt seem perfect), she gave me a free eye exam and discovered I had the wrong prescription...totally remade my glasses a second time!

This place is a joke. Made an online appointment for June 22 at 10:05 am. Decided I needed to find out how much the cost would be for the exam and prescription so I called. After being transferred twice I was informed that my appointment was for JULY not June. I never was able to speak to anyone in the actual office. Apparently they have an answering service that takes all their calls and you are not allowed to talk to anyone in the actual office. I cancelled my appointment and hung up. NO THANKS.

This is basically a mall shop what it feels like. I call the number listed on google and it takes me to an Indian call center. Then they tell me to call the local store... which I originally did! Go to a local eye center, not this corporate bs shop.

They say buy 1 get 1 free, they forget to mention if you have insurance that you have topay 40% off the value of the free pair. They advertise ready in an hour but what they mean is 2 weeks. That part i can understand because of the pandemic. They didnt call when my glasses arrived, and this was the first time i bought glasses and didnt receive cleaning cloth and spray. Ill never shop with them again or recommend them to friends.

The doctors office there is great. My husband and I were in there and both had eye exams. Very friendly and professional. On the other side of the store was not so pleasant. We looked and looked for frames, and could not find anything that we liked. And the frames felt cheap. We were on our way out the door with our prescriptions, when we were stopped by the manager. She asked why we were leaving, we told her we did not see anything we liked. She then took the prescriptions out of my hand and said that she could make our lenses for $20.00 that day. Thats fine and dandy, but we didnt like the frames. And my husband script always gets sent out. She was being very aggressive at trying to make us stay and purchase something that we didnt want. I would not recommend that place for purchase for glasses.

They are AMAZING and I’ve used them for 3 years now!!! 🤓They always have a great selection of glasses and even when they are swamped the are all polite and kind!!! Amber is always great and she fits my frames and I’m soooo picky and she sticks with it til they’re perfect even if I come back which I have after a couple of months!!!! Parking stinks but i love them more than I hate the parking.

After my selection, I was once again pleased with the service & discounts available to make my frames affordable. I used the eye doctor service next door. The doctor did a great job making certain that my prescription was correct. I needed progressive bifocals and I have astigmatism in both eyes. Everyone was great the Dr. was friendly and explained everything he was doing to me. When it came to getting my glasses the general manager helped me and was patient as I found frames that I really liked. Never once did I feel rushed. My glasses were ready in 25 minutes. Had the eye exam in June, no problem. The staff was great! Ordered my son contacts and they said they should be ready for pickup in a few weeks. I called around the 2nd week of July to ask about the contacts and they stated they would be ready July 28th. Okay no problem. I call today because I havent received a notification from them yet. No matter what kind of question I asked the answer was it says here they will be ready August 14th after 12 so you can pick them up then or im sorry maam but we are short staffed. It was like talking to a robot. He couldnt tell me anything about why its taking so long for my order to come in. Then when I canceled the order so I can possibly go somewhere else to pick up my sons contacts he stated I had to wait on a specialist to call ME back to process the cancelation. What?!! Now Im going to have to call my insurance to see if i was charged for the contacts so I can go somewhere else to get them. Go for the eye exams, dont order any contacts!!

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! I live out of town and unfortunately had a mix up with an appointment, but they got me right in and even stayed late making sure I got my glasses the same day! I believe my Stanton representatives name was Melanie. She welcomed me as soon as I walked in the door. She was servicing someone else at the time but never lost tracked of my place in line. She patiently waited for me to find what I liked. She then wrapped up my visit with a great price and outstanding service. My glasses were ready in 30 minutes. I plan on returning next month for my daughters annual visit.

After being referred for the awesome selection of color frames I decided to venture in. I scheduled an eye exam then purchased contacts and beautiful frames. With there help, I was able to walk out with two pair of glasses that I love...same day!However, the eye doctor next door wasn’t that great. He came in late, rushed through my appointment, didn’t tell me anything at all about my eyes, wasn’t friendly. I would go to another eye doctor and get my prescription and then go to the eye glass ladies. Would not recommend the eye doctor to ANYONE!

Amber, the general manager was the best. I came in a little late as I was getting off from hospital and using old prescriptions.She managed to get me in to have my prescription and got my glasses done all in less than an hour. Absolutely some of the best customers service and great caring person.Highly recommend this location for all your eye care.

Me and my son both got glasses from here. Everyone is so sweet from the exam and the ladies at the front desk to the manager on the other side. Had a great experience! Definitely recommend

First time I have been to Stanton optical. They were all very friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed the atmosphere very much. Andrea helped me in my glasses choice and did everything she could with my budget. She truly tries to give you the best deal they can. Highly recommend!
