I love this bagel place. Its a great spot especially when youre on your way to route 17 or 80. Its so close to everything. Bagels are always fresh and delicious and tell their cream cheese whether its plain vegetable or olive, all of the cream cheese is always a good choice to get. Their taylor ham egg and cheese sandwiches on a roll also something delicious to get.

They refused to sell me a half dozen bagels saying they didn’t have enough for the day…there was about 50 in the bins and either way, don’t advertise selling by the half dozen or dozen if you aren’t willing to sell that way. Really disappointing, was excited to try. Wont give it the time of day again.

One of the few places open super early in the morning for breakfast, they have a good selection of breakfast choices and price is very reasonable. TASTES GOOD TOO!

Today I went to buy bagels and the owner refused to sell them to me. She said they were “running out.” What were they being “saved” for? The purpose of a bagel store is to sell bagels. She is also very rude. It is like she hates customers. Well I will just take my business elsewhere.

The bagels are hard and taste a day or two old. The woman is pushy and kind of rude. She said she would bring the food I had paid for to the door because I had two young children in the car then refused to answer the phone when I got there.

Best coffee that I have had in a long time and their egg and cheese sandwich is good too.

Dont bother unless you want to wait 20 minutes for a bagel. Tried to call ahead but they dont pickup the phone

Some of the best bagels in the area. Definitely stop by if youre in the mood for a good bagel. Their lox is always fresh and the coffee is pretty decent; the only caveat is that seating is extremely limited.

Bagels arent the best and 9 dollars for an Italian hero with no meat and no chips included you want real breakfast and amazing oversized sandwichs for less go too deli mart in Hackensack this place is a rip off stay clear!!!!

Good bagels but rude staff. You walk in greet the lady at the counter with a “hello,how are you” all she says is how can I help you. Even after that me being the person I am decided to put a dollar or two in the tip jar and she didn’t even say thank you! Just literally looked at me. This is not the way the first person you see when you walk in should act.

They have fair prices and a prime location. My favorite thing, though, was the iced coffee. It is made with coffee ice cubes.They also offer catering services.

I will never eat at this place again . I literally just witnessed the lady that works there sweep the floor with the broom and then sweep the counters where customers sit n Eat at with the same broom you sweep the floor. Gross unbelievable. . Never again do not eat here ever.

The bagel are great! Fast service and very kind employees, however, I’ve personally never seen my turkey bacon drip dark oil unless the grill isn’t cleaned off well enough. But overall the bagel was great, but now the concern is whether I’ll be in pain for a few hours.

I was looking for a bagel place early one Saturday morning and found Essex Bagels through Google. Its a little hole in the wall, but the bagels are very good. Worth a visit.

They wouldnt sell me bagels. Only sandwiches made with bagels. Anemic selection and they didnt appear very appetizing so I guess its just as well.

Had the taylor ham egg and cheese, they know how to make good bagel sandwiches, crosswinds and muffins also looked great.

Soft and warm bagels!!! And coffee was pretty decent too. I was used to pretty cold and hard bagels from Dunkin and Wawa from either side of this small shop and this was a nice difference.

Customer service could be better to say the least.
