This place is AMAZING. I just moved to the area and I am SO HAPPY I chose to pull in on a whim. I’ve come back here every weekend since, (I’m too busy during the week) and they have NEVER let me down and I have pretty high expectations for breakfast foods haha. Their staff is so amazing, quick and friendly, and they make you feel right at home. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!! No seriously, GO!!PS. Not only is their food OUT OF THIS WORLD— Their coffee is AHHH-MAZING too! Thank you guys! See you next weekend!!

Primarily delicious food. The price point cant be beat, the people are always super friendly and kind, they serve coca cola, their coffee is great, they have other great drinks, they have a variety of snacks... But the buffalo chicken wrap is out of this world, the blt is fantastic on a croissant, and there isnt a bagel I wouldnt eat. Out of your first AND second choice if bagel? No worries. Everything tastes great at The Bagel House. Except the napkins. They taste like napkins.

Ridiculous wait time. I spent nearly 30 min in a overcrowded place to get my bagel sandwich which was completely dry. Placing the order by phone is off limits-no one is ever answering. The place is totally understaffed. Not coming back.

Great bagels but very shady in charging. A bagel is listed at 90 cents and I always pay cash. Sometimes depending on who Im charged 90 cents and there is this one woman who always charges me $1. Now today I was charged by someone else $3.45 for 3 bagels thats 1.15 each even though the sign says 90 cents and when she rang me up it said 90 cents each time she pressed the button so I wonder what she pressed at the end because thats 28% tax. When I said that cant be right she told me she doesnt know anything about the prices she just knows how to ring up. Never going back. These people are dishonest.

The best bagel place in North Jersey!!! Filling, delicious sandwiches...13 bagels for 10.80!! Fully staffed with helpful staff. One of the few places I tip because they deserve it. I got my sandwich at 9 and still full at 1. Im a BIG eater..this is no joke. I travel 40 minutes to get my fix. Just awesome.

I love their service! They are so pleasurable and courteous. I have gone in the afternoon and the morning and the bagels and coffee both fresh. They are so reasonable priced as well. I live 30 minutes away but when I am in the neighborhood I definitely stop there and you should too😉

Yikes, they make extra big, hand rolled, delicious bagels. The outsides are golden brown and nice and crusty, and the insides fluffy. They offer all types of bagels but I prefer the everything style. They also have a good variety of breakfast items and lunch sandwiches. Joseph is friendly and helpful behind the counter. If you peek around back you can watch the bagel dough being mixed. Theres limited seating and its always busy. Good parking.

For starters if there was a no star review they would totally have that, I went to the place around 2:15 mind you they close at 3 and before I could ask for anything they tell me they weren’t serving any hot foods. And then people wonder why they loose business. I’m sure the owner is a great person but the employees could have handled the situation better and I was the only customer at the time. Before anyone judges I’ve worked in the food business and that is no way to make customers keep coming back.

If you were in the mood for a good breakfast, please go to this place because;1) They are so nice in there even though they’re always busy....2) The food is impeccable.I keep meaning to write this review for a long time because this is my favorite bagel to order from there. It’s a Lox with plain cream cheese on a Onion Bagel. You can also add Onions and fresh Tomatoes.Also, let’s not talk about the coffee. It’s fresh and it is much better than any other places that I’ve been because the coffee tastes like homemade.

Not sure why so many 5 star reviews? I went here once thinking they were special because of the 5 star hype. This is a bagel store, they really should specialize in bagels, yes? The staff was friendly, the bagels, meh. To be honest I can go to my local super market and get these type of bagels there. And you all know how super market bagels are... To be honest, I wont be coming back anytime soon.

The amount of undercooked turkey bacon I found was astonishing the amount of egg shells in the eggs are disgraceful is a shame to even call the a breakfast sandwich. For starters I asked for a plain bagel toasted turkey bacon egg and cheese spk... they gave me a whole wheat bagel I’m not one to waste food but was it was pretty hard to eat this “sandwich” the bagel house use to be a great place to get good quality food now something has changed I hope you guys get back on track soon..

Bagels were soft and fresh. Parfait was the best I have ever had. The breakfast sandwich was a little bland although I ordered the sandwich with salt, pepper and ketchup but did not receive as requested.

This place is awesome. The bagels are delicious. Well priced for something of that size. Their service is always quick and friendly. I also like the chicken salad and recommend it wholeheartedly. Definitely stop by here for lunch. Bagel selection is often limited at later times though.

One thing that I always hated was biting into a taylor ham and cheese sandwich and having to look for the taylor ham. The Bagel House knows this and makes means sandwiches.

Disgusting. Two orders of western omelette eggs are wet and undercooked. I tried calling to have them correct my order and now busy signal. No one picks up. Unprofessional and disgusting.

Food is so ordinary. The mozzarella sticks are not good, fries are unimpressive. The paninis and bagels are okay. I also found hair on my panini sandwich- during a global pandemic you would think places would be more cautious and hygienic. Food isn’t the worst tasting but you could just go to wawa for better food.

Im not from the area, however, when I have a chance to stop by Im never disappointed. Beware, the line is very long in the morning but worth the wait. The bagels are freshly made and their Taylor ham well done is Perfection! As previously mentioned by others, one does have to repeat ones order to the staff. However, one should not see it as a hassle if one would like ones order to be correct. All in all, it is a great bagel spot in my eyes and worth every dollar.

I used to live around many bagel shops and had a choice of where I wanted to go. When I moved to Garfield i didnt know of too many bagel shops and this is the first one i went too. Truly authentic bagel/deli spot reminds me of my old town...perfect

Only reason Im giving a bad review because the girl that works in the bagel house is always, always snippy and sarcastic when a person places an order theres no need for that early in the morning. Ive only ordered three times and out the three times Ive gotten her, other then that the food always excellent, just bad customer service with her working their.

Went there hoping to get a plain bagel. Cashier told me all they had was whats left in the rack, which was almost nothing at 1pm onna saturday. No even a plain bagel. How do you call yourseld a bagel house and not have a plain bagel in stock lol. The person was nice though. I ended up leaving cause they didmt have other things i wanted as well.

The girl was nice, but charged me a medium coffee to fill my reusable mug with just hot water. She didnt inform me of the charge when I made the request, but it came up on my bill - by which point, the mug was filled and there was nothing I could do, since I didnt want to hold up the line. Sneaky, yes. A more professional worker would inform of an uncommon charge before charging. Just beware, thats all.

I have visited this place on and off for about 2 years. Their bagels are always delicious, their staff is always friendly, and their prices are really affordable. I gladly go out of my way every so often to stop and eat here. Would highly recommend!

Family owned place doing breakfast food right! Something so simple as my bacon egg and cheese on a roll or sausage egg and cheese on a roll can just be soooooooo right!! Freshly baked goods, bread rolls and bagels every day. My favorite is the banana nut muffin and the corn muffin. It can be get busy but it’s worth the wait!

MAN DO I LOVE GOING HERE ON SATURDAYS. Where do i even start? The Staff? Extremely Friendly and they memorize your orders considering they deal with Hundreds of people on a daily. All of the staff is super friendly. Now the food? DELICIOUS every time! It is just pure delicious, mouth watering food in every bite! The time to make the food? They usually prepare everything in 5-10 mins. It is def. my favorite place to eat in the morning. Def. Recommend coming here, you WILL NOT be disappointed.

The Bagel House Lodi have in my opinion the best breakfast around. I travel everyday from Paramus to get my breakfast and coffee there every morning. They are very sanitary and take the proper precautions during this pandemic. All staff is wearing masks/gloves and all surfaces are clean and sanitized. Their bagels are always made fresh and ive been going hear for 4 years now. I would definitely recommend ordering from them and helping them out especially during this tough time for small businesses. You can also find them on Uber Eats.

Needs better service - and to actually have bagels. Breakfast sandwiches are great if you can actually get one. Most times we go, they have either run out of bagels or closed down the grill, a good hour or two BEFORE closing time. They are actually only open until 3pm. How does a bagel place keep running out of bagels? There is a long line as well, we try and order ahead but they do not pick up the phone. The price is also a bit high for a breakfast sandwich and there arent enough places to sit and eat. We just recent started going to another place called the Bagel Buffet, which is near this place, its been a much more pleasant experience, they have bagels and are very professional. Im here now :)

They don’t know how to cook eggs over easy, they over cook them. I mentioned it to the server and she assured me they would get the eggs right this time. I did not think I would need to check, so we came all the way home, sat down to eat and the eggs were over cooked again.Learn how to cook eggs people or stick to bagels only!!!!!!

Very accommodating people, they made us custom bagels the way we wanted it. Quite a small place though not big for sitting inside and eating but I guess the name says that about this place and not really an issue. Quite tasty and exhaustive flavors of bagels. Highly recommend

This place is a disaster!!! Can’t take an order for nothing!!! 3 different trips for the same sandwich and they can’t seem to understand what NO CHEESE means. Hooked on phonics definitely didn’t work for them!!!!
