I went and visited this shop at around 2:45 PM today, selection is great, lots of nice stuff, pricing seems fair on most items. Unfortunately, even though I wanted to make a purchase I did not. I tried to engage the young kids working the desk, they didnt seem to really care that I was there. I tried to strike up a conversation with them multiple times. Each time I did so I was greeted with a quick. oh yeah then nothing. They at the least answered a couple questions for me, but they were not engaging and left a sour taste. Ill go spend my money elsewhere.

This place is dandy. I would go here to get many games, rarities, and to repair things. Recently, Ive been disappointed with their opening times. They open up VERY late now, mid afternoons at 1pm. Ive been trying to go, but they are always closed when i am available. I would like them to be open in the mornings, as they used to be; like 10am isnt too early in the morning for them to open up.

I bought an Xbox one controller and most of the analog sticks would get stuck. I’m pretty sure this controller is fake.

Sell Movies in the back because its a video games. too much clutter for low value game over price will never sell even with buy two get one free. 2 star because you say thank you for coming at 5:00 PM the guy thats just walk area your video games store & will never come back.

After going through their discounted (buy two get one free) PS2 games, I found a rare vintage game. After deciding to purchase the game 10 minutes later (we left and came back), they said it was accidentally placed there and tried to sell it to us for 10 dollars more, in a case with a picture they printed out from online. I could buy the game with the case and manual for that price online. After telling my partner this, who bought the game, I went back and demanded they refund him the money, they gave it to us through store credit. We came back a month later and bought some games and a controller, and then they tried to sell us the clearance games for double their price they were labeled, saying “I guess no one repriced them.” Excuse me, they were in the discount bin, all the games were labeled 4.99, not 9.99. They refunded it to us after we discovered their error on the receipt. But needless to say, we won’t be coming back.

My husband took both of our playstations in for a diagnostic and for starters they gave us a turn around time that they were unable to deliver. The service took twice as long, but to make matters worse, with their business hours being so unconventional it was difficult for us to get in touch with them. When they finally reached out to us we were unavailable and they failed to leave a voicemail. Unfortunately, the next day the technician was out of the office for the weekend so when we asked the other employee if a note was left or anything he said that there was no information in the office and the technician took our systems home. He also suggested that WE call them back on Monday. So after several more days we were informed that it would cost more money than it would be worth to repair. My husband wanted to just buy a used system from them but I felt as though their poor service was not worth our coins. We ended up getting a system elsewhere, however when we brought the system home we decided we would continue using it until it burned out completely... turns out the system doesn’t even turn on whereas before it was overheating and shutting off after a couple of hours and now it’s just BROKEN.

Nice selection of games and third party accessories. Very clean and open space with decent prices and sales. Friendly staff and always willing to help.

Took too long to clean out a ps4 I left it there for 9days they told me I was next in line two days pass by and still nothing. I went back today to get it back I came home plug it back in and singed into my account and see they had been playing dragon ball Z the whole time it was there🤦🏻‍♂️

Went to buy a priced game, but owner decided to look up price to see if it went down.....he then grabbed game out of my hand and pulled price tag off and put on a new one on for $30 more!!!!!!! Then guy has nerve to ask if i still wanted it! Hell No, and i will NEVER be back!!!!!!!!

I wish i could give it a zero. But, anyway. Came into store because new to Lodi And was looking for some covers for my Wii remotes. The worker grabbed them out of a drawer they were thrown in and charged $5 a cover. Really???? But, last Friday was the worse. I went in to find a controller for my son and i thought because they are pre-owned, should be a good deal. $49.99, do i thought not bad. Upon purchasing, I asked the salesman what was the return policy, he said bring back with receipt and you get a full return. I went to Wal-Mart and found one same price brand new. So, I purchased it. Went directly back to the store and the salesman says no cash back only store credit. I just wanted in returned to my credit card. I had receipt, item(not used) and my credit card. Still said noAnyone not locally grown. Go somewhere elde, game stop this is not. Garbage.....wont Go back.

Has some very good deals on used video games for some systems but not others. They have a wide selection of used games particularly for Xboxs and PlayStations. The nintendo selection is more pricey even for used games.

Its a good game store, you can buy old and new games while sometimes getting a deal. My few complaints with the store is if you go in the store with conkers bad fur day original all in the box they want to give you $90... Are you kidding me?! Other than the GameStop esq business practice the place is nice and deserves your business more than game stop.

I have always had really awesome experience with these people, They are friendly and helpful, I would complain about the prices they want to give you for your stuff, but then again its worth more to us then to them and they have to make a profit from it to keep the store open, so i cant complain about that, my husband bought my Wii U there for my bday last year and i bought him the collectors ps4, they were super helpful and i would tell anyone to come check them out. Store is always clean and orderly. I would actually love to work there. 5 stars to them.... best gaming store i have been too.

This review is also posted on Yelp.I came in during Gamestops last day for their B2G1 free games/accessories/systems promotional period. I was only looking for Nintendo Switch games (Skyrim, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and Disgaea 5) so I went online and called some stores to see if I could take advantage of the offer. I couldnt find those games without bouncing around stores within a 30 mile radius. Before I prepared myself to go through this dumb endeavor, I decided to stop by the Lodi Gamers store and see if they had the three games I was looking for.It turns out they did. The store did not advertise any similar promotions so I expected (what I assume to be) the store manager to say that they wouldnt do it.But he did. Rang up all three games and discounted one of them by 100%. I saved a couple more dollars because their pre-owned pricing is a bit cheaper than Gamestops. I said it a couple times at the store but I want to say again: I wholly appreciate your help.Needless to say, Lodi Gamers surpassed my expectations with their friendliness and customer service. Five stars.

This place is horrible I brought in a Xbox one s and couldn’t do a simple hdmi fix. Worst place to get something repaired don’t recommend it.

They never cease to amaze with mark ups. the giy just tried to tell me the pbp Gamecube controller is the same as the nintendo ones, and hes sells them for 20$!!! rip off city. sad because id like to support a local business. and the store has so much potential. the tournaments thing is cool. the layout is cool. the selection is cool. the blatant rip off prices and unknowledgeable or sketchy guy who said a pbp is the same as nintendo controller thats NOT COOL.either these other 5 star reviews are friends/family or they just dont know better. hard to believe.

This place is an absolute rip off. they think their customers are idiots and profit off people who wouldnt know any better. their disc repair machine is a joke. $6 to repair, and instead of my games music skipping, it completely doesnt work. left a ton of scratches and a fat ring around the disc. when i showed the goober behind the counter, he said no it should be ok. i used to repair these discs and would have never in a million years given a disc back or charged a customer for what this looks like. terrible place.collectors: if you are looking to trade games or buy them take the drive to sacramento at fair game where they will give you what your classics are worth. this place will try to play you like a fool. this place is the equivalent of buying off the back of van in a stockton parking lot. except they put void stickers on all their discs.
