Edited to include update. The owner was quick to reach out and help with the problem I was originally facing. He was very polite and amazing to work with. He definitely helped remind me of all the amazing parts of this company Im more than sure that Ill be returning and cant wait for the positive atmosphere to grow!----Love the prices and the set up! I often go with friends to build up our nerdy supplies, but Ive found lately that a single worker is continuously rude to me, my friends, and even my father every time we go in. Hes short, snobby, and just all around rude to customers.I truly want to shop here but I feel deterred at the continuous behavior of this employee.

This is a horrible game store. They told me they are selling pokemon celebrations ultra premium collection, a $125 box, for $300. They cited online sales for reason for the price and an attempt to stop scalpers. I asked and they said the get from distributors so they are getting it at a price to make profit selling msrp. Other than the price hike they stated no other efforts to stop scalpers such as purchase limits, so it seems to me they are ok with scalpers as long as they pay their marked up price.TL:DR this store is combatting scalpers by becoming scalpers themselves, and shows a blatant disregard for their customers.Go to toad and tricycle on main street its a smaller shop that could really use the people and they care about their customers.Reply: please dont be fooled by the reply. In my opinion its dishonest people trying to justify bad behavior. The distributors sell at a price so a shop can make money at msrp. Second hand market for collectibles is always inflated because they pay msrp prices. For a shop supplied by distributors to sell at anywhere near the mark up of the second hand market is again in my opinion entirely corrupt and to say they do it for their customers and not to pad their wallet is in my view completely disingenuous. There is no justification I will accept as to why a dealer is selling at such extreme prices other than greed. They then have the audacity to act as though they are doing you a favor by not charging an extra $60 after the $175 mark up. There are other ways of combatting scalpers, such as creating a preorder list, purchase limits, and to an extreme degree unsealing the product taking away the ability for scalpers to resell like shops do in japan, instead they chose to increase their profits at the expense of the customer. I was also told they dont do pre-orders arguing delayed shipments, if this were the case they could just deliver the products late and people would understand. I am now beginning to suspect they do this so they can see what the market price is before selling to gouge as much out of you as they possibly can. They claim that these prices discourage flippers and it probably does because they are selling at scalper prices. They have become functionally indistinguishable from the scalpers themselves. The misdirection in the reply implying Im the one looking to screw someone over looking to buy at a 1/3 of the price is disgusting to me. Many stores still sell at msrp including other game grids that I have called. There is a certain respect between store and consumer. Let me put forward another situation. Distributors only sell to stores this happens so stores can get fair prices and help manufacturers guarantee a consistent price across many stores. These actions break that trust it would be the same if I found a way to buy from distributors and cut them out as well. Their actions are not fair to the customer or the manufacturer as it could lead to backlash for them. Not to mention that the content in the reply directly contradicts what I was told in person at the store. Again this is my opinion and my own deductions make your own choice, however if you shop here I believe you are wasting your money.

Hubby and I are super into board gaming. Weve been disappointed in other local options because of their limited selection and inflated prices. Game Grid is SUPERIOR compared to the others. Their inventory is by far the best and most diverse Ive seen in this area, and their prices are reasonable and comparable to online vendors. Well be happy to support this local business first before turning to Amazon next time. Knowledgeable, friendly employees and owner. Were so excited to visit again!

Game grid has been amazing. I have gone in for DND items, magic cards, and dice. They have a barrell at the front of the store that has a $20 per bag dice fill up. The employees have been super nice and always ready to answer questions. I would highly recommend going here.

I love this place! Truly a LGS for everyone, theyve got competitive if not lower prices than other stores in the valley or even online. If they dont have what youre looking for, its most likely because everyone else shops here.

Raised their price on a Pokémon product for no reason. It was $45 in the morning and $60 in the evening. I don’t support scalping and will not shop at any locations (and no the $45 was not a pre order price, plenty of people bought at $45 in the morning with no ore order)

Tyson, the new owner, has turned the store around for the better! The store has been reorganized to make both shopping and game play easier. The staff really seem to care about building a healthy gaming community at their store. Prices are always fair. If you had a bad experience in the past under the old ownership, come back and give Game Grid a try again- I’m sure you’ll see a night and day difference!

I recently purchased $40 worth of various card sleeves at this store. I don’t buy sleeves often so I asked the staff member to help me out. He did and I was happy.I went home and sleeved everything except for one pack. It was tarot sized, I’m sure it was an accident. Not a problem. I went back to the store to exchange for a new pack of the correct size. I was told that the package was opened and that he couldn’t help me.Buyer beware. Not a great place to buy from as they don’t honor returns.

I called in to get a price check on a few magic cards and Enrique said he wont give me a price over the phone. he said he had a bunch of busy work instead of helping a customer. so that left a sour taste in my mouth.update: after learning that Enrique was let go I went back in to try and see if it was different. it was a night and day difference. the employees were very nice and welcoming and made me feel appreciated. its a very good place to play.

Best game selection in the area! Plus open on Sundays which none of the competition manages to do!Edit: No longer open on Sundays, game selection is bare bones which matches the other local spots, same trading card games you can get at the others, if you live in Hyrum go here if you live close go here, if you live closer to the other two go there. It makes zero difference.
