I had my car serviced at Black Forest on 9/21/21. They replaced my fuel filter assembly.Before I had my car serviced I had read the Yelp reviews and 3 out of 4 were awful! But I had already met Dabo who looked at my car and he appeared knowledgeable and friendly. I noticed a BBB sign in the office window, so I looked Black Forest up on the Better Business Bureau and their rating was A+. I decided to take a chance because I was no longer satisfied with Christian Brothers in Grayson. And needed a place that was more knowledgeable about BMW cars, trustworthy, reliable, and fairly priced. A very tall order these days. I prayed on it and decided to go with Dabo (who was my only contact at Black Forest). I dont think he is the owner and I cant speak for the other employees.I AM happy to say I dropped my car off late afternoon on 9/21 and I received a call @ 9:00am the following morning that my car was ready for pickup.The fuel assembly was repaired. I have waited about two weeks to write this review. My car remains in good stead. The work was completed in a timely manner, reasonably price, and the work appears to be of good quality. I can also represent that Dabo was very respectful and professional.I give thanks to Black Forest and Dabo, in particular. . And while I do not want to see you any time soon. I am grateful for being provided trustworthy, reliable, and fairly priced service, now and in the future.To the Yelp readers...sometimes you have to go with your instincts. I will keep you updated and give you my honest review base on my own experience.A grateful & satisfied customer!

I went in and spoke with DADO, explained that I was confused about my w209 Mercedes Benz convertible top fluid ..... he knew exactly what I was talking about & sold it to me for $15!!! Saved me a trip to Mercedes dealer

So I called in last week because my instrument cluster was going out was told by a tech that the team their can diagnose the issue and see whether it’s bad wiring, cluster, gauge, or whatever the case it can be, so I’m cool with it and make the appointment.. go there today and they say they don’t work on them, they just replace the units in vehicles, they cannot diagnose what the issue is. So why did someone tell me this on the phone and waste my time coming there, when I live near winder? He had no additional answer for me. This place is a waste.

I cant say enough about this place. The service is top notch, the quality of service is excellent. They are very detailed and friendly. I have been taking my bmw there for 5 years. My car will be soon 13 years old and they take very good care of it. I would not take it any where else. They are trustworthy and very committed to their quality of work.

Rick and the Black Forest team have been taking care of my car since the dealership tried to take advantage of me many years ago. A few months ago I had an Issue with my vehicle; that due to legalities, the dealership had to handle. I called Rick every day and they did everything they could to make the experience better for me. Everything worked out and I got my vehicle repaired because they told me exactly what the dealership needed to do and about how much I should pay. They didnt have to go the extra mile but they did. I will always give them my business and refer everyone to them.

These folks are great. Mercedes-Benz work is never going to be cheap or easy, but these guys are fair. And, its good that they treat you like family. I had a headlight go out a couple of weeks after getting my first oil change there. I bought a headlight and brought it in to them. They changed it out for free.Im headed back there for another oil change today.

What a great place! friendly staff and they really care about your car. It is so difficult to find an honest repair shop particularly for a Mercedes. Being a woman, i have experienced so much dishonesty over the years with repair shops. It is refreshing to find a place where i can take my vehicle and not worry about being gouged for a repair bill or unnecessary repairs. I highly recommend Black Forest...

Brought my car in because the wheel was shaking between 50-60 mph. They said that it needed new tie rods and 1 control arm (which I was told should be switched in pairs but not according to them). Got the tie rods in and the car was given back to me. Coming out of the parking lot I noticed it was hard to steer like I had a flat. I got out and the tires were fine. I get on the highway right out of the parking lot and the wheel is still shaking like it was. Came back a week later and they double checked everything and said it was fine and that it needed an alignment and gave me a lecture on caster from a guy who has been doing alignments forever he told me. Drove it away still shaking. Went and got an alignment because they dont do them and the car was still the same. Somehow a week later the rack and pinion leaked all over my driveway. The rack and pinion was what was making the car hard to steer but finally broke. However, it was not like this before this whole mess. The tie rods they fixed are part of the rack and pinion and it is highly a coincidence that the car wasnt having a hard time steering before they got their hands on it and all of a sudden the rack is bad. I was fed up and installed a new rack myself in the process of throwing away their tie rods and saw how a brand new lock pin they installed on the tie rod was bent to hell. The bent pin was also on the same side the rack decided to leak from. Coincidence? Muscle monkey broke my rack? Got the wheels balanced which fixed the original problem of my car shaking (which is all it really needed). So simply, I was lied to and paid money to get my rack and pinion broken and ended up fixing it all myself.

I have had nothing but fantastic service here, they have always diagnosed the problem correctly, fixed it reasonable price. They are fast, friendly, and professional- I can highly recommend them!

You know youre dealing with scum when you have to call the police to get your car back. They misdiagnosed the problem, charged me for it, brought it back to fix the same problem, they lied to me and said it was something they already replaced, next they broke a very expensive part (didnt tell me until I arrived with a tow truck to take the car to BWM), and then threaten to fight me and keep MY car after I paid them. I highly recommend staying away from these guys. I will be going to the dealer for the same parts and same labor costs without being threatened physical harm. Still cant believe this happened, I am seriously contemplating a lawsuit.

It was my first time showing up there as soon I parked 2 guys made eye contact said nothing to me. Went there to get help with my bmw I was waiting in the lobby for 10 min, rang the bell twice and no one showed up. I was still standing next to the desk when I realized there was a guy 2 feet away in his office. Clearly he didn’t want to come out and help. I’ll take my money elsewhere.

Honestly, they didnt get a chance to repair my car, but they were kind enough to not charge me for the diagnostics because they realized the issue was a problem that they could not fix. The mechanic walked me through the process of what to do next. A previous mechanic had diagnosed it incorrectly, which made me come here to get a second opinion, and Im glad I did.
