So my Mom went to Pakistan and I been buying meat from here. I’m mostly satisfied with my meat purchase cuz not only they tell you about the pricing, they also educate you about different types of meat varieties that they have.

Dishonest! I went here and bought fresh mint among other groceries. After choosing a bundle, the checkout person looked at it for a while and said he needed to do a price check. He left and returned a few moments later, quickly placing the mint in the bag. When I got home, I noticed he had exchanged the fresh hand-picked bundle for one that was withered and expiring! Seems he wanted to get rid of the ones that were passing the sell-by date. So upset at this dishonesty

Highly recommend any of the food at the store. Purchased some Baba ghanouj, makdous, and muthawama and it was absolutely delicious. As well the workers are helpful in finding whatever item. Eyad is always there and super helpful as always.

Requiring mask is not true. I even asked an associate there (or may be an owner) why himself and some customers don’t wear mask in the store. He said he was vaccinated. I asked although that is not a valid reason, how about customers and he said we don’t force our customers. I am not going there anymore.

A nice & good place for Halal grocery shopping.

Very clean and organized store. Staff is very friendly and nice. Meats are outstanding and there chicken marinated ones are tremendous. The smoked turkey and beef as well awesome. There different varieties of sweets and even the bread the Syrian bread I call it pita breads are delicious. Samar & his crew really know how to serve the community with top of the line service and products. God bless y’all.

This is the best place to get meats. 100% natural, clean, and without a doubt best tasting. They even carry wagyu. I drive about an hour just to get my meats from here. Even though I have so many spots by me.

Absolutely the best place to get halal meat. They provide excellent quality and service. The variety of different types of meats and cuts you will not find any where. They actually have a full staff working so the wait time is less and the staff is attentive. If you call ahead the order will be ready. We have never had a problem with our orders. Highly recommended this place. The prices are slightly higher then other places but once you give them a try you will not paying a little extra.

I have been going to Mediterranean Market for many years and they never disappoint! They have a vast variety of products and their selections are comparable to any major market chain, if not better! What makes the experience even more inviting are the people who are always available to help when needed. The food is fresh and the store is always clean and updated. I love this place, I go out of my way to get my meat from here. It is so clean and the quality of meat is perfect. They will cut the meat whichever way you want, and it’s done neatly. I have never had to take out any excess fat from any of the meat I purchase. I’ve never had any issues, the variety is outstanding. I appreciate how they also have groceries from so many different countries.

Compared to other stores they may be a little pricier; their store is definitely a little small or compact compared to people shopping there and to the available walking space.Nevertheless, it’s still my favorite halal store in Lombard where I can find both Desi & Middle Eastern products. Conveniently located to my residence.The staff working at the store is also very friendly and helpful. Although not Desi but they know the exact meats I need for my Desi cuisine. They even have a loyalty program to earn back a %. Although a small % compared stores with similar programs but still helpful.I wish they can deliver especially during winter months and pandemic either thru phone or even better thru their website.Delivery can most likely also be done thru doordash or Grubhub or Instacart.

Indifferent attitude from the young staff. Didnt feel welcoming and helpful like you would normally expect from Middle Eastern stores. Prices were higher than other stores I buy from for same products. The place has a lot of inventory and well organized however there was water all over the floors near the meat section.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. They have a loyalty program for 2% back which is wonderful for a small store. Plenty of carts and ample parking. Market is clean and staff is extremely helpful. They do sell hookah equipment and tobacco which is a perk. Halal meets which they will marinate for you at a small cost or clean and cut. They have quality produce and food items. They do sell made to order sandwiches and food items which I personally feel the falafel is on point! I have been a long time customer and will continue to do so.

A bit pricey but good meat choices!

Been shopping here for last three years. We only shop here because its close to where we stay and food is Zabiha Halal. Otherwise we would go elsewhere. If youre not a white Arab they follow you around the store on surveillance cameras. Very sad! Gave them 2 stars for trying to act polite with non white Arab customers.

Who ever gives bad reviews for this store is seriously hating. You CANNOT beat their quality of meat. Theyre more pricy, but for a good reason. Cold cuts are great, store is clean, also like how with certain seasons they have certain fruits available, fresh dates etc. Service is just fine, I dont know what some people are complaining about, how spoiled can you be that you want to be pampered at a grocery store.🙄 But seriously, wont be surprised if this store expands

I just needed to write a review after reading the last review. Ive never seen a fly in there and Ive been going there for five years. They have pitas here, not gyros and it doesnt even have the same sauce. You are comparing apples and oranges. Anyway, Ive been getting my meat from here since I have started coming here. Its fresh. They have fresh pita bread and the meat selection is great. The butcher will cut it up for you.
