The pharmacy really seems to struggle. The wait times are incredibly long. They call and say your RX is ready to be picked up, then they say it’s not after waiting in line for a minimum of 30 minutes. They need to fix drive up lane 2 for drop offs, as it would make them more efficient.
The pharmacy is slow and under staffed. Its been this way for for years and I dont think it will change any time soon!I would like to recognize a very special employee in the pharmacy. Stood in line long enough watching her ~ a very long line! Penny is a very patient, professional, and organized young woman. She was the only person running the register and also working the drive thru window as well! Not once did she lose her cool ~ not so much as a eye roll! All things considered ~ she still remained pleasant as well. Thank you Penny ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
For the love of God, go anywhere other than walgreens for prescriptions. The pharmacy is absolutely awful. Waited 30 mins to drop off, 4 hours to be filled (they said 2) and 50 minutes to pickup!
This store is unbelievable. I went in to ask them to call a pharmacy to have a prescription transferred. I was second in line and it took them more than twenty minutes to help the woman in front of me and she wound up leaving without her prescriptions. I then spoke with the Pharmacy Tech who informed me the pharmacist would call right away. Went back about 1 hour before closing only to find out the pharmacist had not called. He did attempt to call, however the pharmacy on the other end was closed by that time. He promised me the pharmacist would get to it first thing in the morning.Next morning I called and of course they had not gotten to it. I asked them to please call. Got a message about 2.5 hours later telling me there was a problem with my insurance. I called them but they were at lunch. I am now waiting on them to pick up. Listening to bad piano music and being reminded every 30 seconds or so that staff is answering other calls. BTW, if they had asked me about insurance I could have told them there was no insurance. The medications were also important. Two were for heart medications.
This pharmacy is the slowest that I have ever experienced in my many years of being a customer. They never have enough people working it was even like this before covid I do love the store and that is why I still come here but there pharmacy seriously need an overhaul.
We were out of town visiting friends and I needed my childs prescription transferred from our local pharmacy to this one. My child takes their med 4x a day. I called as soon as we got in town which was 3 days before I actually got the med. I waited over 45 mins to even give the med for the transfer. Then everytime I called I was put on hold for 10 mins or more and hung up on twice. When I picked my medicine up it was the last day before we were to leave and they were rude. Im so glad that I wont have to come back here again. The customer service was horrible and I feel bad for the locals here. One of the worst Walgreens Ive ever been to.
I went in for a Covid vaccine, and should have taken the prescription bottles scattered on the floor as a red flag to begin with. After about a half hour of waiting, I was denied the vaccine because my insurance wouldnt cover it - which upon verification wasnt true.
Wonderful local drug store with plenty of helpful staff and a quick-ish pharmacy.
Long lines in pharmacy, cashiers look miserable. Having them runaround and do multiple tasks.Dont have enough staff it seems like. The manager april wasnt too nice to my wife when i i asked her about a hair product, do yourself a favor and go to a different pharmacy unless you like waiting in line for 45 minutes to drop off a prescription.
Love having a drive-thru pharmacy.
Knowledgeable employees. Clean store.
Zero customer service.
Spent 38 minutes on the phone to confirm our Rx was ready to be picked up, only to have to wait 2 more hours at the pharmacy to get it. There were plenty of workers, just super slow. Other patients in line said it was always like that. Definitely not going back.
Very nice cashier and good selection here at this Walgreens. Met all my needs for a couple random things I needed to pick up while out in Lompoc, very pleased with my experience at this Walgreens!
I have filled my last prescription here. After receiving a call from the pharmacy informing me that my prescription was ready to be picked up - I drove 20 minutes to get there and waited 15 minutes in line only to find out it was not ready. Come back in about an hour was not what I wanted to hear. How about this - once I get these meds I will NEVER come back!
This is the slowest and least customer centric Walgreens Ive ever been to. And they never have my prescription ready when I come no matter what. I dread coming to this place.
The worst pharmacy Ive ever had the misfortune to go to. On 25 Sept I stoped in and asked if the pharmacy would please call the pharmacy in Colorado to transfer a prescription, the pharmacy in CO was already closed but i was assured the staff would call the next day - Thursday. I stopped in 27 Sept to pick it up and i was told no one called to transfer it Thursday, no explanation, nothing! By the time the pharmacy called CO on Friday my old pharmacy was closed. I was very upset because Id been without my meds for days but i was assured they would call first thing Monday. They advised me to go to Urgent Care to get meds to last me till the next week which i did. So fast forward to Thursday Oct 3rd when i called the pharmacy to ask if my meds are ready to pick up and they have no idea what Im talking about, there arent any notes or anything about transferring a medication. I was again assured it would be called in the next day by a pharmacy tech named Angie (very super nice and only reason why there are two stars). Now today Oct 4th i guess they finely called this morning but there was a discrepancy with the prescription - did they call to let me know so i could call my doctor? NO, I called them around 3:45pm to find out! If they had called early and let me know i could have contacted my doctor but NO now i have to wait the whole weekend, AGAIN!. Id rather stab myself in the eye with a ice pick then to ever go back to this pharmacy again!
I am traveling and so try to be patient during what is offered as a convenience. But I have waited for over an hour while I watched one person handle the walk up as well as drive up traffic. Not upset with personnel other than a manager who has failed to schedule appropriately. This is not a government agency where we are trained to accept this level of service out of fear our taxes go up. This is one of the three drugstore who have 99% of Americas prescriptions. This is what is wrong with monopolies. But I have to say in the there other states I have picked up my prescriptions, this is the only one I have had to wait. I am now at 90 minutes.
COUNT YOUR MEDICATIONS! I was shorted 1 pill of each prescription!!! Grossly understaffed. Have lived here for 23 years and is always like this. They misplace prescriptions. You ALWAYS wait 20 for minutes in a huge line of 10 or more people and then when you get to the counter most are told to wait another 20-30 mminutes. Going to switch - no other pharmacy in Lompoc have so many issues. Bad pharmacy - not recommended unless you dont have a life or have all the time in the world to wait
It’s a good place to get medicine
I Was visiting family in Lompoc. Went to this pharmacy first time in my life. Bad organization and not enough training! A few ignorant lied employees. Not all of them though. The first young girl took my paperwork for prescription, my Florida Blue card, my ID. She spent time entering everything in a computer I thought. She said my prescription will be ready in 20 min. After 30 min waiting another young girl said she needs my Florida Blue card because they not sure it will pay for my meds. No problem, give my card and waited another 40 min because they said some“ Maria”( middle age, don’t remember her) name ) will call and get info from my card. Never happpened. “Maria” came outside the register, shop for her darlings wrapping presents paper, came back and said to me that she never was able to reach any representative on both phone numbers from my card. Big lie! I pulled my phone and reached a representative right away, less then 3 min. She explained the pharmacy cashier how to use my card and it was done in the next 5 min .I was waiting with a fever and coughing every min for about 1 and a half hour because of the lying and disorganized employees. Glad I don’t need to use this pharmasy again. Sorry for the people who have too. Hope someone in charge will reed my review and better employees will be hired to do the job. Hope no one will be effected and die next to this pharmacy in the future. I hope they change their behavior maybe...I decided to write only because I read the other people reviews and they all are similar to mine.
This is the WORST pharmacy. They are so incredibly slow and it is not uncommon for them to get the order wrong. Last week they gave my mom the wrong prescription. Tonight we have waited 45 minutes to pick up a prescription they said was ready because the pharmacist is on break . If you have ANY other option, take it.
Im very disappointed with the time that they say is and the the time that is.I was told that the prescription I gave them would be filled In less than an hour. Unfortunately, I arrived approximately two hours later and I Was told that the pharmacist was on break! My prescription was a legitimate prescription.I was told that I have to wait until the pharmacist returned from a break!45 minutes to wait!If the script is valid then why do I have to wait until he gets back from lunch!Does Walgreens trust there employees or does Walgreens not trust a valid prescription from a legitimate doctor?¿???
Horrible pharmacy. I have had nothing but problems here. No one knows what’s going on and doesn’t seem to try and figure out what IS going on. What is the point of having a convenient drive through pharmacy if the wait is upwards of an hour sitting in your car? I waited over 40 min last night just to be told my sons prescription wasn’t ready after all. Today I’ve sat here now for 50 min & there are still the same 2 cars in front of me. I would have left long ago if I wasn’t blocked in. The medication is never ready when they say it will be, the associates are rude & not helpful. I will be switching pharmacy’s. -Angry person who never leaves reviews!
Its true. STAY AWAY!! They ignore you and you wait foreeeeevaaaaa in the drive thu!!
I love it love the low prices you guys have 😍😍
Everyone there very friendly and helpful.😊
POOR POOR POOR Customer Service!!!!It is Obvious from the momet you walk in the door they do not want you there. If you call, Be ready to wait at least 10 minutes, then get all the wrong answers froma person on the other end of the phone who is either woafully undertrained or just doesnt care!Moving all of my business to CVS NOW!
I was in my car, I waited 10 minutes, and they were not busy inside either. POOR customer service.
I came in for a pain medication, was told to wait. There were more employees than customers but they cant get their act together.
My and my mom were buying things and the manager named Veca called my mom “rude” because we didn’t want to cash out with her, how is she a manager ? She was very disrespectful and I personally told her that if we didn’t want to go with her we didn’t have to, and I said also that I was going to call and complain and said “I don’t care”.
Slow and inept- worst Walgreens I’ve ever used- 20 minutes in line just to drop off a script
They removed the refidgerated section.
This pharmacy is HORRIBLE!!! Never on time phone service sucks. Big Mistake
Bad customer service
