Im very disappointed in the service I received from this location. I was a customer at the Lake Forest location and I trusted that my car would still be in great hands. Two weeks ago I spent $4200 on car repairs. One day later I had to take my car back to have the shocked repaired again. A couple days following that repair my radiator hose disconnected and I almost blew out my engine, this was a hose they supposedly replaced from the original repairs. I had to have my car towed missing two important meetings from the inconvenience. And just now I have yet another issue, the under carriage to my car is falling off, this happened while I was on the freeway.This lack of care and neglect is mind blowing.I once praised Big O Tires for being a brand who treats women fairly when they take their cars in but this location fell short in a very disappointing way..Currently waiting for AAA AGAIN, wasting more of my time..
This place is absolutely wonderful. The gentlemen working there are all very professional. I had an issue with my sensor and they took care of it. The one who helped me listened to my concerns and even offered us (my children and I) to wait in the waiting room. Chairs were separated with a good distance to maintain the social distance. Thankfully it was just us three there so we didnt have to worry. I would absolutely go back there.
Really Great!!! First of all they are open 7 days a week (thank God). I was totally stressed out when I woke up to two flat tires. From the moment I spoke to them on the phone I knew everything would be fine. They were literally awesome. Very calm honest and reasonable. Oh and they offer a way better warranty then any other tire place. Trust me when other companies say full warranty ask about exclusions they have a grip where as Big O warranty actually covers everything
Very disappointed, not a good experience. I took my car multiple times after getting an alignment done here, car keeps pulling to the side even tho they fix it. Also got my tires here and they got damaged due to the alignment issue. They are not willing to replace my tires even tho I have guarantee on the tires and alingmet.. at least offer a discount to make a customer feel valued.
Best shop Ive ever been to. Makes me sad Im moving because good shops are rare. They are very knowledgeable and respectful. They have many options and dont charge you fees for stock in the warehouse. If an employee can swing by the warehouse to pick up parts, before coming in, theyll do it for efficiency. Its a good atmosphere. The techs will talk to you, explain why they recommend certain things. But theyre not sales people, they wont push you on stuff you dont need. The dealership will sell you the timing belt and water pump (which are working just fine) but ignore the cracked alternator belt, the tires dated 2007, and that weird squeaking noise you hope is just your brake pads. This shop will tell you whats important upfront before you waste your money. They even recommended another shop to do something I wanted because it was a specialty thing and theyre honest. They couldve done it, but it wouldnt have been as good. And unlike the dealership (ahem, Timmons), you know the work is done right and guaranteed. They did my brakes and clutch system right, again, better than when I left the dealership, and even did my transmission oil on my insistence. I was having problems, so I wanted peace of mind. They told me not to, tried to talk me out of it. (Low mileage, etc.) Haha. They didnt push me on my worn brakes, advising they need replacing soon, which is why I came back to them when it was imperative. Thats why Im saying, theyre great. And while it was on the lift, I could ask the technician questions about parts and maintenance. All too happy to share their knowledge. Because theyve nothing to hide. Theyre employees like working there, it seems. Which is a good sign.

I went in to ask why my transmission wasnt shifting and they told me I just needed four new tires 😑. I spent almost $500 and found out the next day that the tires were not the problem. You will have a long wait because they are always busy. Theres a jack in the box across the street, though, so thats nice.

On 2/11/2021 at around 10:30 am. I walked in hoping to buy a set of four tires. I really wanted good tires and expected to pay more for quality tires and faster service. A sales technician with the name of Emmett (Sorry for the spelling) assisted me. I asked for Michelin tires and he told me that I was looking into 1000 dollars for all four tires. I said under my breathoh man and Costco does it for 700. I know Costco does it for cheaper because of their sales and I expected to pay more at a specialty place like Big O Tires. What I didnt expect was Emmetts reaction. For lack of better words, he went off on me. He told me Seems like you already made up your mind. We cant compete with Costco. Maybe they are giving you an older model, the ones we have come with 80,000 mile warranty.. and much more. After he was done ranting, I asked him why didnt he start with the fact that the tires come with such great warranty and they were a newer model? He went off on me again. He told me No, I didnt have to begin with anything, you already made up your mind, its not my job to convince you, etc. I began to walk out the door and in the process I told him that he needs to work on his customer service skills. His response was its the way I am.Maybe I was wrong to bring up the Costco price but maybe if his attitude would have been more positive, maybe I would have splurged the money and gotten my tires there. I was willing to skip lines, wait time and the hassle, I was already there. If Emmett would have said something along the lines of You know they might be more expensive here but you get new model tires, 80,000 warranty, and we can have it done for you in one hour or two I probably would have said, lets do it. Too bad for Big O tires, they lost a loyal a customer due to this individual and I hope other customers never have to experience what I did.I ended up getting my tires at a nearby shop and spent as much as I would have at Big O Tires. The difference? A sales technician who actually cared to sell me a set of 4 Michelin Tires.

I would never come here if your a single woman or from out-of-state. I came to the shop early Saturday morning for an oil change and possible front brakes. They only had one car in the beys. All of the technicians were leaned up against equipment not working. The customer service guy saw me walk in and an older hispanic guy behind me. He completely ignored me and went straight to the other guy. I waited about 10 minutes listening to them talk in Spanish before I left. I came back about 10 minutes later same scenario different customer. I had my non expired coupon for the oil change at $49.99. The CSR finally called me to the counter. I explained what I wanted. He took down my information and went outside to check my mileage. He came back in and quoted me a price of $138 for the oil change before all of the additional fees. He claimed that my truck took an extra quart of oil that was going to cost me $20 extra, the coupon for that store expired yesterday despite the print and because I was from Nevada an extra charge was added. Totalling everything to about $178 for an oil change. The wait time would be almost 2 hours because the guys are very busy and the rest of the crew hasnt came to work yet. I explained that I have never paid more than $65 for an oil change ever. I was told to go back to Nevada where its cheaper. Not knowing that I am born and raised here in Long Beach. As you should know they didnt get my service. I got it done at a great price, no additional quart charges (assumptions make fools out of people. I have a small 3.6L engine not the HEMI) and was straight forward in what I needed. I would never reccomend this establishment to single women or out-of-state travelers. They will try to cheat you.

I was very pleased with the very excellent service which I received.I made an appointment. I arrived on time. Within 3 minutes after I gave my keys to the service manager, my car was on the lift and being serviced. This impressed me especially since the shop appeared to be filled to capacity. I was very pleased at how fast my car was serviced which included the installation of 2 new tires and tire rotation. This is the 2nd time that I have purchased tires from this shop. I appreciate the level of service which includes a very reasonable price for the tires. I complimented the service manager and told him that I go out of way to come to this shop to do business.

Had an 8 AM appointment, shop was not prepared to service an 8 AM appointment.5 or 6 cars needed to be moved out of all the service bays prior to my appointment, 25 minutes later at 8:25 they were prepared.I will never go back as Salvador Garibay the opener does not prepare and does not care about wasting my customers time.
Stay far, far away from this place. I went in for one service & was trying to be up sold on a repair. Asked what the price on part & labor. Price on part was 4x the cost. I declined the repair & they attempted to charge me a inspection fee without consent. They had my car half the day without a phone call. Manager was also a total jerk.

Horrible customer service! Do NOT go here. If you go, ask questions and inquire BEFORE paying for any service they will turn you away with their treatment just for asking questions. I sent my partner to get a tire change, 2 tires and possibly front breaks. We didnt end up getting any services. Sal was very rude when i was asking him for the total cost and about the over $100 charge for labor on 2 brake pads, he began to get defensive and told me that i can go somewhere else for my services he also had someone to go to my partner and ask her to leave the location because she was taking up space and not getting serviced. They are still struggling with their customer service, looking at all reviews, they have been for a while and something needs to change.

Do yourself a favor and avoid big chains like Big O tire and give small businesses like Guadalajara Tires a chance.Not only they have reasonable rates, they care about their customers.The Big O tire guy was acting like he is doing me a big favor by taking all my info, charge a $25 bill for a flat tire and asking me to wait for 1-2 hours.Big chains like these don’t care. On Feb 21, 2015, I purchased 4 new tires at the location at 9075 Artesia Blvd, Bellflower, CA. I also purchased, according to my receipt a Tire Protection Policy for $84, under which the receipt says 3 YR ROAD HAZARD WARRANT, 3 YR WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY, 3 YR ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE, LIFTIME PRORATED REPLACEMENT, FREE ROTATION/REBALANCE, LIMITED MILEAGE WARRANTY. I was told that the tire were prorated to 50,000 miles, and if they wore out before then Id get a percentage back. That location has shut down, and I have since used the location at 1181 E Pacific Coast Hwy, Long Beach, CA. Last week, when I tried to get my tires rotated, the technician told me that two of my tires (which only have 21,000 miles on them) were too worn down and that it would do no good to rotate, and that I should purchase new ones. I asked the manager what the prorated warranty on the old tires covered, and he said what I currently have werent covered by warranty because they are performance tires and dont list a mileage number at the top of the receipt. He was also confrontational and rude about me even asking. So what did that tire protection policy cover? My whole family always buys from Big O, but after this, I think maybe we should be looking for a tire retailer that is not actively trying to screw us over.

Had a super awkward experience a short while ago. I completed the survey they e-mailed me. In the survey, I made sure to let them know about my poor customer experience, specifically with Javier. So, what happens? I get a call from Javier to complain about my feedback. What company does that? Either the complaint went to him directly and he wont do anything about it or corporate sent the feedback to him and had him call me? So odd and awkward. In any case, the customer service here is weak. Ive gone to other Big O stores and have had more pleasant experiences. Javier looked annoyed every time I had a question. He took a tone with me when I inquired about the status of my vehicle since it was taking longer than expected. Cold personality. The two times Ive been here, they have one person working the desk. Wish I could get my money back. I dont recommend going to this specific location.

Went in to do a simple leaky tire patch. It cost $25. There was a 3 hour wait, but if you go in the morning, it shouldnt be bad. They at least gave me an accurate time estimate.Recommend

Quick turn around on a last minute visit to get a new tire since someone crashed and exploded my tire. Ordered yesterday and had the tire today. Paid in full since that wasnt covered when I purchased the set.

Look for sale he is awesome he took care of me grand total is like 2:49 I had 239 he made the difference of what I didnt have so Im going to bring all the guys sandwiches when I get paid which equals about 20 bucks Im spending more but it was totally worth it they made me welcome. Coffee magazines to read we need to do and they were really quick I had an interview at 2 p.m. I was even early they got me in and out and waited for delivery and I got there at 8:30 left there 11 and there was 10 people in front of me killer I recommend everyone go there thats what you get your tires tell him I sent you Bryce Rogers
I sent my wife to do a oil change with a coupon that we got in the mail. We were happy to save some money. But when she got to her appointment the guy at the counter told her its not going to be 30 dollars with the happy car service it was $55.00 because it was a full synthetic oil they put on my car a Nissan sentra 2013. I wanted conventional oil I dont care what the recommendation is. its just a RECOMMENDATION not required. very upset then they disrespected her by being so rude about the things the car needed done in service they just blew her off. I am not coming here.

TERRIBLE customer service. When I called I was placed on hold for 5 minutes and I hung up and called back and he told me he had 3 people in front of him and 2 people on hold. So I hung up. Apparently one 1 person works there. So I finally was able to make an appointment for today. I went in and the gentleman sitting there was on the phone. Didnt acknowledge me at all. Not a smile, not even eye contact. Then another man walked in and said hell be right with me. He continued to do paperwork and walk around working. Phone rang and he went AND TOOK THE CALL!!! I was placed on hold when someone was standing there but when I was standing there he took a new call. I walked out I dont have time for bad customer service. Ill find a place that wants my business.

Had an issue with the wife’s car. Went in, they didn’t even chk it. Said I would have to replace the oil pan. When all I wanted was to get a really bad striped bolt out. Went to a local smaller shop. They were able to extract it and did the oil change for me as-well for dead cheap.
Last 5 month ago when I got my tires done the manger on that day was helpful but i went in today(4/22/20) to get my car re-balancing and the manger there give me attitude and act like is a burden.(maybe I dont pay him that why he give me attitude)Im so disappointed

Called the store to ask a few questions about my AC blower motor that was fixed at big o tires and broke in 5 months.I called to ask about warranty on the AC and got the response saying they needed to see the invoice. I explained that I had the invoice in front of me and if there’s anyway to find out over the phone because I live far away.The entire time I got responses from “Javier” that made me feel like he didn’t want to waste his time on the phone, instead giving me short answers so I could hang up and he can go back to what he was doing.Terrible customer service before I started doing business with them. Can’t expect anything better if I were to do business with them.
Went in for a balance but they let me know I got Kevlar showing -5% tread. Tire direct replacements were fairly priced.
They were okay. The staff were nice and I didnt have an appointment so I had to wait 3 hours. I just wish they would have told me about how long I would have to wait bc I wouldve left and then went back. I had to reschedule an appointment that I would have not been able to get in today. I got lucky and she just happened to have a cancellation. Super long wait without pertinent updates. I was able to use a coupon which saved me a lot of money.

No urgency to get work done and say anything to customers to make them wait. almost no customers so only one bay of 5 active. says it will be right away no wait then says someone has to drive to Torrance to get the tires. thats a 40 minute round trip. well put the car on the lift and hell be back before we have it up. an hour and a half later, car is still not on the lift and I leave.
Had the tire I needed, replaced it in about 30 mins. For a fair price with warranty. Nice staff..👍

This Place was horrible. i went in for a break inspection and they ended charging me almost $700 for basic parts that could be bought at auto zone for a fraction of the price. the took machine screws off my center caps and dint replace them. when i went to get my vehicle one of the technicians asked the cashier if he told me about the small leak in Spanish and the cashier said no, its fine. i come later to find out that i was leaking a large amount of break fluid. THANKS guys!!!
Waited at 8 am opening time behind several other customers. I had a rim and a tire to mount on it. All I needed was the tire mounted. They told me 2 hour wait time at least. I went down the road a half mile and had the job done in 10 minutes for 10 bucks. They didnt seem to care about my business or the fact I was traveling and needed some quick simple help. I wouldnt go there for anything after this.

This review is long overdue. I received an oil change about 4 weeks ago based on an oil change special for $19.99. After looking at a few fairly bad reviews, I was slightly skeptical about going to this location. However, I frequented the NTB Tire and Auto Center in Atlanta, which is apparently one of their sister stations-- plus they were close to me--- and an oil change is fairly basic, so I figured I would check them out anyhow. I must say, they did not let me down. They had great customer service from the time I walked in and talked with the guy behind the counter to the mechanics and everyone in between. All were very nice, courteous, and respectful. They finished the job extremely fast. Showed me specific problems that needed to be fixed and how soon. The head mechanic even replaced a light bulb on the rear of my vehicle, that unfortunately had been out for some time, for free. The work/service was good. Car performed well afterwards. No hassle. Easy breezy. Great price!

Went there and had 2 tires replaced. After getting home my tire pressure sensor on the dash said that I needed to have the sensor serviced. Before going there everything was working fine. When they checked the tires they said one of the sensors was missing, which just so happened to be on the tire they replaced. I said so where do we go from here. How do we fix this. I was told that they could order me another one. I told them that we shouldnt have to pay for another one since everything was there until we got our tire changed. His response was that they dont remove tire sensors. I told him everything was fine until we went there. And we argued back and forth for a while.I will never ever be going back there again. The person who changed the tire either knocked it off and they lost it or it was stolen. Worst customer service as well

Dont bother making reservations online, they cant even promise your reservation nor the type of tires you requested due to computer problems. Instead, theyll try to sell you crappy tires. Such a waste of time.

Do not bring a classic car here! I brought my 1960 ford ranchero here a few days ago, I drove my car on the freeway and noticed a strange noise. I decided to lift my car and inspect it, this being a unibody car a dent in the floor can throw off the alignment since all of the weight of the car is supported through the body and floor of the car. I found that the mechanic disregarded what I told him about how to lift my car. I told him that he must lift at the pumpkin and support the car with Jack stands at the rear subframe between the torque boxes and the mount of the leaf springs in order for the rear end to drop. I have taken my tires off many times without damaging my car this way. He decided to put the Jack stands under the rear floorpans and smashed the sheet metal floor supports and put some large dents in my floor. I called them and got a bunch of excuses and bs. I built this whole car, dont try to bs me! This is not going to be easy to fix, not cool.
I came here after a long road trip and did regular maintenance and checks like oil change, tire rotate and balance, alignment, etc. Store associate called me to tell me some recommendations on top of what I came in for--which is fine--except one of those recommendations was that my back tail light was out. I said no thanks to all the recommendations bc I only wanted to get done exactly what I came in for. Later that night, after I had gotten my car back, I went to OReillys and told them I needed a bulb for my back tail light (because its cheaper there.) I didnt know which one was out so the store associate came outside with me and stood behind my car while I had it on and was pressing the brake pedals. He said none of them were out. So lesson learned kids...Big-O-Tires Long Beach lies.
I tried to give this place a second shot because I had a coupon. The guy told me was going to cost $75 for an oil change after I had a coupon for $17.99. What kind of s*** is this place trying to pull? I would suggest going anywhere else other than this place!
I visited. Big O Tires in sincity and asked if they would fix my flat tire...The quoted that I had to pay $ 19.95 for that job..Goodyear doesnt charge anything.

Do not get your car serviced here! I went in to get new tires and an oil change and then about a month later my car was out of oil. I returned and did a synthetic oil change thinking maybe I put too many miles on it and then another month later my car was shaking and feeling like it was going to shut off mid drive. I checked the oil and again and there was not even a drop left! I paid $79 for a synthetic oil change and they literally didnt do anything. I got a friend to do an oil change and another surprise found out that they never even changed the filter,it was the original one my friend put on about 4 months ago!! They took it off and retightned it so tight it was almost impossible to take off. Total RIP off and very expensive for a waste of time and money.
