I love ulta. However the last few times I felt as if the employees kept following me. I seen other women that weren’t getting followed around and it made me very uncomfortable. I understand asking guest if they need help with anything but to a certain point asking every 2 minutes seems excessive and it seems as if they just want to keep an eye out on you. Especially when I seen other people not getting the same treatment. Letting the guest come to you if they need help instead of following them around every second asking seems more reasonable. Just so no one feels uncomfortable like I did . Especially being a women of color.

Today I visited this location. The staff was lovely and amazing! The Best Ulta I have ever been to and Stephanie was super helpful and immediately helped me find my new favorite scent YSL Libre and there was also a really helpful guy there too. I will continue to come to this Ulta location for all my future Ulta purchases. Literally Every single person working there was wonderful !!

The staff at Ulta is the most attentive Ive seen anywhere. There’s a worker around every corner and its really helpful. I get distracted easily here. And its genuine help with a smile.

I haven’t done makeup in over 3 years so I basically had to start buying everything all over again. Charity was the first person to offer me help. We spent some time figuring out what I needed. She listened to me and knew exactly what I wanted and we got everything on our list. Charity made my experience actually really fun. I ended spending almost $300 but that’s okay I honestly had a blast. I’m definitely coming here again. 11/10

Its not common for guys to get their brows done, but mine needed some serious work. A friend of mine recommended making an appointment with Janeth at the brow bar. She actually had a cancellation when I went there, so she was able to get to work right then. She did an amazing job. So nice to talk to, very helpful, and she did a great job on my brows. Very clean and sanitary. She put me at ease as she could tell I was nervous. Im trusting my brows with Janeth in the future!!

Love this Ulta! Ask for Janeth when you book for eyebrows/benefit brow bar! Shes always recommends great products as well.

I was a little bummed the girls struggled with color matching and product information. Thats the reason I went in! However, we found what I needed and am happy with the products. Good to know you can return up to 60 days if needed.

Went into this store to get a new foundation because it’s always hard to find my shade and Kira was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about everything, she helped me find my shade and helped me learn about their new virtual glam try on it’s super efficient thank you so much!

Whenever I come here, there is always great service.But yesterday afternoon (Sunday 4/18) in particular I was helped by very kind lady (Kira, I believe? Forgive me if I spelled your name wrong... ).I had brought in like 7 different items that were mostly all from different orders (for either return or exchange of damaged shipped goods) and she was an angel! She was soooo patient and kind and made the process transition smoothly. :)Overall, good vibes and great service from this Ulta. Thanks Kira!

The staff is always trying their hardest to help you find the product you need. They also mention alternatives that you wouldnt have known otherwise. Love their sales! Overall never had a bad experience!

Came in to have a facial with Melody. She was awesome and very professional. You can tell she is very passionate and knowledgeable in her work. She made my first experience very comfortable and she recommended me using a cleanser for every day use. Now, I use it every day and I could definitely tell the difference. If you need a facial, definitely request for Melody!.

This is the best Ulta I have been to. I was greeted when I first walked in. Then, while there another helpful and friendly associate asked if I needed help. Wow! I hadnt experienced this at other Ulta stores. Before I left, I told them this store is so friendly and helpful. She said I was the third person to say that today.

I love this place that has such great products their staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable on all the products that ultra carries. I always come out of here satisfied even though I always spend them more than what I should.... I still go back every time. One time they even did my makeup just because I was looking for new products to use

I went there in my birthday month and the cashier told me when I signed up I would get all these discounts for my birthday month. When I walked in all they gave me was a small bottle of night serum. That says on the back do not sale. That’s all I got for my whole month of my birthday because they lied about discounts or special deals for my birthday month. Unsubscribing and letting my platform know about my experience. I was dressed down when I went to the store too waiting to watch a movie next door, guess they judged me as well.

Ulta beauty is my favorite place to shop for all things facial scrubs and hair products. The girls in these stores are very well trained and professional at their jobs. Great ambiance.

For the most part some of the girls are really helpful and nice. I was able to get in and out and find my fiancee the perfect gift!

I like Ulta, I like the products they carry and the convenient prices...only they have to work on their customer service.☹️ I walked around the store for 10-15 minutes and I couldnt find an employee. One or two always walking away talking on the radios they carry & I saw two chatting away about personal life matters near the beauty counters, not once did they look my way... I thought they were customers, but they were dressed like the stores beauty consultants. It wasnt till I was heading out the door that someone asked if I had found what I needed...😠

I gave it 3 ☆☆☆ only because they had my items in stock. No one greeted me, asked me if I needed help, etc. The cashier was not helpful and made me feel like asking for assistance re what coupons could be applied was a hassle. Her tone and responses were not appreciated. I did say I couldve saved time and aggravation by ordering these items on Amazon. There is a reason brick and mortar stores go under: lack of service, rudeness or making the client feel like they could spend their money elsewhere.

I love Amanda she is totally cool and makes my hair look fantastic. Ive been going here for almost a year and am still loving it. Amanda gives me GREAT advice on products and how to use them😘😸

The place is HUGE and has pretty much everything. Sometimes difficult to get sales help but they are good when u can flag them down. This location has oodles of parking.

This is a nice new Ulta they have Ev parking in the front exclusive two vs so great for Ev drivers.Very nice store fully stocked standard Ulta store close to the new Nordstrom Rack in the new Long Beach exchange area.There are new shops and food nearby nice place to enjoy.

Went in to look for a new item being launched. I stood right in the front where the new items are on display. ..Three staff members saw me looking like I need help ..but no one came over to offer assistance. So i finally asked one to come over. She looked annoyed as I asked her how is the product used and how is it compared to another more expensive product that has been out for a while. The staff had no idea how to use the cheaper dup and what the established brand product was. Then she didnt even bother to tell me that they were out of stock of the newly launched product and was rather rude and made a snide remark about my appearance . Also I got no samples ..no gifts even though I purchased 130$ worth of merchandise. This Store Has Some Good Employees But the bad ones are bad. And they are out of stocks frequently. Management need to retrain staff on customer service and to check the stocks on popular items and replenish as appropriate. On Line Shop Is The Way To Go Once U Check Out the products, If instocks at the store.

A great place for women who are insecure with their natural beauty. Its a place where a crutch is used to falsely misrepresent ones image in hopes to gain inner self esteem by falsifying their looks rather than their worth.

It’s so uncomfortable going into a store and being looked at like you’re going to steal, their staff is unfriendly and follow you around like if they got a reason to. I work in retail so I know how this works. I went for the KYLIE cosmetics launch and they said no pictures and my product had to be hold at the register, Seriously ? My daughter went to get a drastic hair cut and buzz along with dying her hair, and Kim did a fantastic job!!! I would recommend Kim for sure.

This ulta had my shades in stock! Also they are well staffed so u get help when u need it.

Always stocked with the best beauty must have and so long as the store isnt insanely busy everyone is incredibly helpful. I purchase a lot of my beauty products and ulta exclusive makeup products here as well as their online shop if I cant find something in store. The marina pacifica store does not yet carry Morphe which is disappointing but hopefully they will bring it in.

Always come here first as i live nearby then end up going to Seal Beach store. Marina Pacifica is never stocked, even for regular brands like Lance, Clinique or Neutrogena. Staff usually too preoccupied talking among themselves to be helpful. Seal Beach completely different. this has been on on-going issue for over a year. Management needs to set up.

Had horrible, prejudice customer service here. Went in searching for a particular palette. Looked around for twenty minutes before I found it myself (by being nosy and looking at what a customer was testing). There wasnt any stock on the floor. The girl that was testing the palette had an associate approach her, and she asked if there was any left in stock, she was told all the stock is in the back, but that there is some palettes available if she wanted them. She said she would take one.I later on found the same woman and asked if I could have a palette as well. And was told, sorry, theyre not in stock.Um. Excuse me, but I just heard you say there was some in the back??? What, so if I dont walk in all dolled up, I dont get to have customer service privileges? RIDICULOUS! Ill buy the palette from Sephora instead! They have better rewards anyway!

As of February 2015 this Ulta was one of the few to get the Clinique line. I would recommend it for that alone. But it is also worth mentioning that this Ulla carries high end makeup lines that offer colors appropriate for high melanin and medium melanin women . This is not true of 2nd Street Beauty, Long Beachs other high and beauty chain. Ulla also has a very good loyalty points program.If you are looking far beauty products for your nails, look elsewhere . The selection is paltry and the markup is pure greed.If you are looking for bath and body beauty products go to another Ulta. That section of this store was greatly reduced to make noon for Clinique.
