Sunland is a fantastic choice for shutters, form my experience the Domestic product is superior to the import. The shapes are identical but lead time is half and there is not risk of damage in transit. Plus it keeps jobs right here in Long Beach!! Yep, their domestic manufacturing facility is somehow in southern California.

11 years ago I purchased Sunland Shutters through Don’s blinds. Unfortunately Don’s blinds is no longer in business. I am currently planning on buying shutters for my living room. I thought I would buy more Sunlind shutters so they would be the same as in the other rooms. I have had all of the magnet pieces break over the years. I called to see if they would send replacements parts which would have totaled $15 dollars. I spent thousands of dollars 11 years ago and was strongly considering spending another couple thousand this month. Sunland Shutters said they would charge me $15 for the replacement parts. Their Customer service is horrific. They obviously do not have a good warranty and do not want my future business. You would think my past and future purchases would be worth more than $15. I will not purchase Sunland Shutters now. Since this experience I have researched other Shutter companies and found out that Norman and Hunter Douglas are companies with better warranties so will go in that direction when I purchase.
