Oil and filter change. Had to go to counter after an hour to find out why it was taking so long. Truck was ready as soon as I checked on it. Had tires rotated and air pressure was 55 lbs in each tire when I checked. Recommended is 35. Had to correct myself. Not their best effort this time.

It took 2 days to replace a battery under warranty plus they offered no shuttle service so had to inconvenience a friend for this. They blame it on covid but that is bogus. Not impressed. Will go elsewhere next time.

Worst ford dealership in east Texas.. on the 3rd engine on a 2017 ford edge titanium. 1st engine was replaced in Jan of 2021 now another one March. Cant tell us what went wrong with the last 2 engines. Would not provide a rental or loaner car either time engine had to be replaced. 1st car was picked up it was low 4.5 quarts oil. 2nd time it was low 2 quarts of oil. Go somewhere else for service or warranty work.the service staff was always extremely rude and acted like they had better things to do.

Terrible service department.I have had my car for almost 2 years now and here is the most RECENT series of incidents (insert eye roll).About 6 months ago I noticed a noise in my ac and when I was getting my oil changed at Valvoline I asked what it could be, they said it could be a leak and I was low on freon. So I take it to Pegues.. THEY HAD MY CAR FOR WEEKS and kept telling me they couldnt find the issue or duplicate it so I had to go up there ... WEEKS. THIS TOOK WEEKS. They kept telling me nothing was wrong even though I told them multiple times and finally, guess what? I had a leak and was low on freon, this was AFTER the service manager got involved.Then, I am hearing another noise, my ac will act funny and my lights will flicker so I bring it back to Pegues. AGAIN it takes WEEKS and in the end all they did was change my cabin filter so $200 dollars later I get my car back. GUESS WHAT? They broke my glove box when trying to change my cabin filter. I go up there and show them where my glove box was broken and because I dont trust this dealership I requested a loaner.Larry told me it would only take an hour to fix but I dont trust their perception of time and I only have an hour lunch break so I still request a loaner. It took 2 1/2 weeks for me to get one so I drop my car off on Friday and an hour later receive a phone call from Larry saying that I could keep the loaner over the weekend, not all the parts to fix my glove box came in. GO FIGURE.MONDAY - I go get my car and realize half way home that my air bag light is on.I call back and tell Larry, he says hell call me back after he investigates.I call him the next day, he says I need to come back in and they can hook it up and diagnose the problem... THE DIAGNOSTIC FEE IS $100! I say its not a coincidence that my glove box just got fixed and now my airbag light is on.. He told me it was a coincidence.. WITHOUT EVEN SEEING MY CAR tells me its a coincidence.So I take it somewhere else... I explained how they just replaced my glove box and now the light is on. Low and behold the tech at Pegues unplugged the knee bolster airbag to replace my glove box and that is why my light was on. After I find out what was wrong, I call Larry to tell him and his response? The tech said he didnt have to unplug anything. Come on.This is the WORST service department. I would tell EVERYONE TO AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.

I purchased a truck from Pegues-Hurst Ford last week and was helped by Lisa Graham. She was extremely helpful, patient with my questions, and made the entire experience a pleasant one. In the past Ive had bad experiences with salespeople not being very helpful with post-sale issues, but Lisa has continued to be helpful even after the sale was made. Ill definitely be looking for Lisa the next time Im in the market for a vehicle.
Once again the service department has let us down. I first had problems, in 2007, with a leak in a Sports Trac. Recently my wife found an Edge, at this location, that she liked. It was a used 2015 but only had 26,000 miles on it. After a few months the moonroof would not close. They said it would cost $3,000 to fix. They could not even get it closed for her. I was able to fix it for less then $5. In addition they kept it a week and were also supposed to repair a part but they had ordered the wrong part. They called her, on Fri., at 4:59 to pick it up. Just a very poor service department.
Supposedly had a new air conditioner put in my car. Nothing but problems with it. Went back to shop three times and still not working. Hasnt worked in over a year now.Oil change done a couple of times. When I got it done the third time, I went somewhere else. Air filter was filthy. Hadnt been changed in a while.
My salesperson was Susan Schooley. She was very nice and patient and did not hover (which I totally appreciate). She worked around mine and my husbands schedule to meet with us and even had to stay a little late the two days we made the 1 hour drive to Longview. The reason why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the financing of the truck. So it had been agreed upon that my credit would be used as primary since my husbands was lower. This statement came from the finance department, the same day we were to sign the paperwork. Well when we finally went to sign papers, I was told that I had no credit (total lie, I knew I had good credit) so they had to use my husbands and therefore, our interest rate was not what I was expecting. Randy, who we had to sign papers with, was the rudest person ever. I kept trying to get him to explain to us why in the world had it changed from what I was told that same day in the morning. He had no answer and said thats just how it is. While I was trying to discuss it with my husband, I asked him to give us 5 minutes, well, he gave me 30 seconds. During the time I was debating he made several rude comments. Either you are going to leave happy or he is so just pick who its going to be, If the interest is such a problem, maybe you should have picked a vehicle that is not so expensive to you, when I make decisions, I dont need my wifes approval You need to make a decision now because I have to go to Austin Im not leaving this office again so you can talk about the decision. Honestly, the worst customer service in buying a car I had ever had. In the end, we did purchase the vehicle (did I feel extremely pressured and bullied? I sure did). Apart from Randys flat out rudeness, we were pleased with Susan and our new vehicle. The actual price of the vehicle was actually great for an F-150 XLT 2021. The problem was how much we would be paying in interest and how that came to be. But we will definitely be refinancing elsewhere instead of Ford Credit.

UNETHICAL DEALERSHIP. BEWARE!Below you will read about how Pegues-Hurst Ford uses unethical business practices of showing one price on their website and not honoring it once you are in the store. Worse than the classic bait and switch, they allow you to believe you will receive that price until you have finished the paperwork but then will inform you they will not honor their own price. Even with cash down, they will refuse your business unless you are willing to pay them extra money. This is how it happened to me:On Monday I went to Pegues-Hurst Ford in Longview to purchase a Ford Explorer. I had been communicating with a Sales Consultant since Wednesday the week before and had the deal worked out. Nothing special, just what they had on their website including the specials Ford is currently running. I had discussed with the Sales Consultant when the best day to come in to purchase it would be and we settled on Monday. So, I called in the morning and let him know that I would be that way in an hour. It is about an hour drive to Longview from Tyler. I loaded up the wife and kids to take me over so I could drive the new car home.On arrival at Pegues-Hurst Ford the Sales Consultant I had been working with was busy with another customer so he gave me the keys to the Explorer and my wife took it for a test drive (it was supposed to be her new car.) She loved it and we agreed that was the one we wanted. At this point, I consulted with my Sales Consultant and he said he didn’t think there would be any issues so I sent my wife home with our 2 and 5 year old kids so they didn’t have to wait around for the paperwork process.Fast forward to an hour later, my family is home and the sales consultant was free to do the paperwork. Again, we had pretty much worked everything out on the phone so I figured it would be quick by car sales standards. Then the first issue comes up; the finance manager is backed up and I would not be able to sign the finance paperwork until the following day. We worked through it and Pegues-Hurst would send someone to me with the paperwork, but I would take the car home that night. Works for me. Second issue; the detail people had left for the day so if I wanted the car cleaned, I would have to bring it back. Again, frustrating but I could live with it. The Explorer had been sitting on the lot a while, so it was filthy on the outside and had noticeable signs of others test driving it on the inside. At this point I’m still ready to make the deal and drive the car home.The biggest issue came when we finished the agreement for purchase. I signed the paperwork to purchase the vehicle for $42,325 with $3000 in Ford incentives just like the website says. I planned to put $10,000 down and finance the rest through Ford. The Sales Consultant takes the paperwork over to the manager and they have a discussion. I figured something was up because it took a while. When the Sales Consultant returned, he informed me they could NOT sell me the car for the price listed on their website. The website, THEIR website, was wrong. He told me the website already had the incentives worked in even though it CLEARLY states the incentives are not worked in. The manager comes over and states the same thing. They give me a new sales agreement with the $3000 removed making the car a $45,325 vehicle. NO DEAL! After a whole day at the dealership, I had to call my wife to drive back from Tyler to Longview with our kids in tow to pick me up. The day was a waste.I have purchased many cars from different Ford dealerships. All my vehicles have been Fords or Mercurys. I have never seen such a case of BAIT & SWITCH. To not honor the prices on your OWN website is beyond UNETHICAL. It is downright criminal. As a loyal Ford customer, I am appalled that Ford allows any of their dealerships to operate in this fashion. All I can suggest is you spend your money elsewhere. Do not trust this dealership. They have no interest in gaining or retaining customers.

Dealership service center performed the works maintenance on my wifes 2013 Ford Edge. We were called within an hour and a half of dropping the car off, that work was complete and car ready to be picked up. I also have a 2017 Ford Edge, which I placed in for same servicing today and was called within two hours that work was completed. We have always received exceptional response on routine maintenance. Very much appreciate the fact we can drop a vehicle off when convenient to our morning schedule, regardless of when appointment time is. Many times, they are able to get the vehicle in and out before scheduled time. They are always courteous with follow up calls and explanations.

Well after having my tires rotated my light came on that one of my tires now needs air within the same hour I left the dealership. I feel like the service department should have checked my tire pressure. I also got a call about tire locks I was unaware of and that if they couldn’t find them they couldn’t rotate the tires. I told them IDK anything about what those are but check where the spare tire is in my trunk because they might be there. They were. Other than that the oil change and tire rotation took about 2 hours.
We looked online and saw a nice 2018 Kia Sorrento. We called and talked to Susan Schooley who helped us with internet listings. No haggling, just straight forwards on the numbers and financing. I love how easy it is to get online and schedule my oil changes as well. Im able to get there when it fits my schedule. They are always fast and courteous and I have found the cost of oil changes with a tire rotation is much cheaper than I was paying at other places.
