Very disappointed in the service department. Tried to get updates what they where doing . Zero feedback I did receive a text at about thee weeks telling me to relax my car was in good hands. At five weeks they finally called and said the timing belt ( no chain) had slipped. It destroyed the engine. Wanted $6,500. 00 to rebuild the engine. The car was not worth the cost to rebuild. I told them NO

I can see why they beg you to leave an outstanding review after you purchase a vehicle. “Make sure to leave us a great review, I won’t get a bonus if you don’t.” In the words of our salesman. I have seen responses from Mr. France, the GM of Peltier Kia, and would have waited to talk to him but the general sales manager here told me the conversation we had ended with him and that if I didnt like what he said I would not like what the GM or even the owner said or thought. Ok...that said, I have bought dozens of cars in my life and have never seen this level of deception and fraud from a car dealer. Long story short, the salesperson and I agreed the sticker price of the car was the cash price. He said they could not go lower because the car was hard to obtain and I agreed to that price. I went into the finance office and signed documents reflecting that price. In addition, the finance person explicitly told my wife and i there would be no charge for any service or maintenance contract. Well, guess what....I trusted what the salesperson and the finance person said. To my disbelief, after receiving a bill from Kia for a final financed price of about $8000 higher than what I figured (including $3150 for service contracts and an addendum of about $4000) I looked at the printed contract that was given to us at the end (folded by the finance guy and put in an envelope as we walked out). I looked at the electronic pad at signing and these additions were not there, definitely added after we signed as the finance person talked to us. They thought we were a payment buyer which is one of their little scams to maximize profits by fitting any extra money they can in but were wrong. Again, the sales manager said he was the end of the conversation so I took it to the next level of reporting this, in what my opinion is direct fraud, to the Texas Dept. of Motor Vehicles and it is under investigation right now. Take from this what you will.

I have bought 2 vehicles here and both times Ive had the wonderful pleasure of Jennifer Lacy being the saleswoman I worked with. She goes above and beyond anything I hoped for.1st experience was last year purchasing something newer to tote myself and my child around because I wanted to make sure we were safer. She pulled up in a 2017 Jeep Cherokee for me.and I fell in love with it. I was so excited. Surely didnt think we could get me in it. But, we did! A whole year later, I went in to see what may be possible trading in my Jeep. THIS TIME SHE GOT ME IN A 2022 KIA SELTOS. MY FIRSTAT NEW CAR EVER! She worked hard to get me in something I could afford and that would have a top notch warranty for me and my little girl. I love the consideration that she puts into every bit of her interaction. If I needed a car, she would be the one I go to. If anyone I know needs a car, she will be who I send them to. PHENOMENAL!

I have been having issues with my car going back & forth for a year spending $600+ on rental cars when there wasn’t any available loaners “which wasn’t told I was supposed to be reimbursed” since my cars under warranty.Took me 6 months to get a loaner still wasn’t fixed, Every-time I would go my car issues never got fixed, Then I was told by customer service that it was stated To them that I was “behind on maintenance “ which wasn’t true so they can’t do anything to diagnose my cars issues which if that was the case.They would’ve been told to me before having me waste countless trips there & kept giving the guessing game.Took my car to Tyler dealership customer service is AMAZING!!! They will do anything to help you & make you feel comfortable even gave me a copy of the service invoice which I never got & my car’s issueswere fixed in a matter of 2 weeks “2 trips” since they had to order a part” definitely Will only be going there from here on out.

We went In for an oil change, we have kias best service plan. They did the oil change and tire rotation. No cost, no hassle, less than 1 hour and excellent kind service. They shuttled us to and from the mall while our k5 was being serviced. We absolutely enjoyed the experience.

My husband has decided to find another car dealership thanks to the shady dealings of Jennifer Lacy.She was talking to my husband about a car and at the last second she said she couldnt do the car he was interested in but then proceeded to try to get him to buy a car that costs more than the one she knew he wanted.How exactly he wasnt able to get the car that costs less makes absolutely no sense and how she tried to get him to pay $200+ more a month for a car theyre just trying to unload is deplorable.Beware their offer of a 2014 Lexus with 84,000 miles. Its the one they try to bait and switch with.

Kept me in there for an hour and 40 minutes completely wasting my time, intentionally. Typical dealership ball. Running back-and-forth with the “guys in the corner office”. Please do your research before you go in one of these stores. They can ruin your credit in a heartbeat. Seven years ago they financed a car in my wife’s name under my mother-in-law‘s Social Security number. Messing with both of their credit and Unable to fix the problem after the fact. They also tried to sell me a car adding a ridiculous $3000 to the MSRP. Claiming that all dealerships are doing this. A complete lie. Be cautious and always do your research. There are so many great resources on YouTube, TickTock… Etc. to really know what to watch for.

We went in looking at the new Carnival, a minivan. The salesman knew very little about it, but it didnt matter because we did. We knew we would be ordering one, this was a formality. At the end, he glossed over a market adjustment, referencing telluride this telluride that. Sure enough, they had a $5k+ mark up on the sticker of this minivan! When we told him we wouldnt be paying that, he directed me to his manager who proceeded with a very scripted 20min talk about the dealership values of family and relationships, nothing to do with the mark up. After the script, I said i wouldnt pay the mark up. They said theyd call after they talk with someone. Its been a week, no call. We ordered from an out of state dealer for msrp and will only be back to this dealer for free oil changes. The only reason I wont give them a 1 star is they were at least pretending to be friendly. Could have been worse I suppose.

I arrived a few minutes late for my oil change appointment, but the girl who greeted me was very pleasant and courteous as she explained what they would be doing & how long it would take. She told me that they would be vacuuming my car when they were finished and that, because it was raining they wouldn’t be washing it, but that was part of the service that they always do, weather permitting. She asked if I wanted to wait in the service waiting area and showed me to it. I don’t think it even took an hour when she came and got me to sign the paperwork and thanked me. As far as I’m concerned, it was 5 star service all the way. I was very pleased with it.

We had a great experience at Kia when we came to have our car serviced. We were on time for our appointment & an attendant at the service desk checked us in promptly. She offered us a shuttle to anywhere in town, but we chose to stay in the waiting area. We were given an update after we had waited about 30-40 minutes. Our car was out on time & we appreciated the car wash. We had not expected that.The waiting area furniture needs is showing a lot of wear & needs replacing.

I was nervous about leaving my car there to get fixed. One hears stories about dealerships and their rates to fix cars. It turned out that the part I needed was under warranty. They got my car fixed pretty fast, & on the way home I was hitting every bump I could since my steering column was fixed. I will definitely go back even for oil changes. Give them 5 stars for great service.

I have been giving this place all of my business since I first purchased my car in 2016. I purchased a 2016 Kia Optima. I’ve always given them good reviews. Even when it wasn’t quite as great as I was saying. I’ve even done reviews for corporate. I thought that I was being treated very well until recently. There was an issue with my brakes originally I was told that there was nothing wrong. I came back and there was an issue with my brakes and I was told that the rotors were warp. The only thing I didn’t tell you earlier was both of my front and my back brakes were replaced at the Kia dealership in Longview.Now I’m hearing a noise on the front end of my car and apparently the mechanic is not able to reproduce the noise. Now I look at this the same way I looked at my brakes. They told me originally there was nothing wrong with my brakes. But it was. I am in a place now where I am having to take my business that is not under warranty else wear.Cody is awesome though. I will admit even when I can tell he is frustrated with me he is still very professional.I have to say from minor things this is a good place to go. Just like any other dealership it is fairly pricey. But if you have any serious work that you need to be done I would not take it to this location. A few months ago or shall I say a year ago I would have given this place five stars. But I see it in a different light.And coupons are very hard to come by. Even when you get all of your services done there. Don’t hold your breath.I really hate giving them a bad review because I really like there customer service.

Talked to James over the next few days. They pulled the keys, held the car 4 days for me, and had my paperwork ready for me after the 4 hour drive to the dealership. No hidden fees or surprises. Salesman flat out lied about several items. Said car had gone thru their 100 point inspection. Ha. It started vibrating the next day. Took it to my mechanic. Too scared to drive it back to Longview 35 miles. Went back to try to get $150. Sway bars were shot. Not knocking Kia but I would not buy a wagon from this dealership.

Would not honor advertised priceI found a truck on their website that I tried to purchase, and when they called and tried to set-up the purchase I was confirming the price and other details they decided that they would not honor the online price and jacked up the price by 20,000 dollars. Buyers beware!

I’ve been a satisfied customer of the service department for six years and Peltier has kept that positive experience going in that respect. However, I just bought a used car from them and it was very frustrating. My salesman Jermaine was professional and helpful. However, the sales manager made the experience insulting and frustrating by starting negotiations raising the advertised price by 20% then ignoring my request for clarity in pricing until I said I was ready to leave. Fortunately I was able to persevere long enough to get the clear information I needed to make the purchase. Bottom line-I got a good deal on what I think is a good used car. But the reluctance to listen to my clear requests made for an unnecessarily unpleasant sales experience. I’ll have to think hard about going through the same for my next car purchase.
