S&W Kitchens brought me out of the 70s! My remodel was better than I ever expected and the cost less than estimates I had received from other companies. The remodel included removing my walls and ceilings down to the studs. After our first meeting, my designer, Sarah Kraus, knew exactly what I wanted and needed. She went by my color schemes and chose the cabinets, tile, backsplash and lighting perfectly. I love the results! My supervisor, Brian Pope, responded to my calls and any questions I had immediately. I felt he went over and above what was expected of him. Both projects were done on schedule and my home was kept as clean as possible while the work was in process. I now have an open floor plan and a beautiful, efficient kitchen and master bathroom. I would highly recommend S&W Kitchens and especially Sarah and Brian. Thank you for my beautiful finished project.
It has taken me months to be able to calm down enough to do this review because I was so upset and angry. My husband and I paid over $50,000 for a kitchen remodel, taken down to bare walls, and S&W Kitchens could not even get that right. I ordered shaker cabinets for my kitchen and they put slab front drawers on my cabinets and now want me to pay to get the correct fronts put on it. When we were choosing colors we were give 2 choices of colors, 1 tray of handles and they still could not get it right. When they ordered supplies they did not order enough so my cabinets were half done for months and I was told that the rest of the supplies will get here when they get here. My kitchen floor is not level and was not sealed and my grout got stained by the tile installer. I personally had to remove over half the grout on my hands and knees with a handheld grout blade to remove the grout until the Operations Manager came to the house and then they had the rest of the grout removed. The door handles were installed by eyeballing where to put them handles - no template was used so they were slightly off, So new door and drawer fronts had to be ordered. The ceiling fan was installed too close to the cabinets so one of my doors was damaged and S&W Kitchens wanted to repair it. They replaced it! My door from the kitchen to the garage was poorly trimmed and had to be redone. But the paint job over the door is horrible. The cabinets are so close to the door that regular door trim could not be used. My appliances were delivered and the appliance company did not install them because S&W had in the contract that they would install and S&W told my 3rd party appliance company not to install, why they thought they had that right I dont know, but S&W did not have the installer here for the delivery and now I have to wait days to get them up and running. The wall by the refrigerator was installed with the wrong color and had to be replaced, another delay. My designer, Bill Burke will not talk to me - he has to speak with my husband. I paid a fortune for a breakfast nook to be custom built and I cant even use it because there is only one way in and out to sit at the table and so it is inconvenient for others if you need to get up everyone has to shimmy out of the seating so you can get up and then they have to get up so you can get back in. I was told that I would have to pay extra to have it fixed!!! The seats are made from the granite countertop so they are freezing cold to sit on. I have a granite windowsill over the sink and marble in the breakfast nook, looks bad. I would be told that workers were coming and no one would show up nor would anyone call to let me know. I was basically stuck at my house from February to July as someone had to be here at all times in case someone showed up to work. My kitchen was suppose to be completed on March 24th but they did not complete the job until July 22nd and it still is not right but I am sick of dealing with them so I will fix the things they left undone. I could go on and on but I think you get the gist, I WOULD NOT recommend S&W Kitchens in Longwood, FL.
My husband and I recently had our kitchen remodeled by S&W Kitchens. We had new cabinets and countertops installed. The entire team was timely, competent, and a pleasure to work with. Our communication with the designer and site supervisor was excellent. We were always aware of the status of the construction. Being in the midst of covid, the work teams had temperature checked and face masks on during their time in my home. We highly recommend S&W Kitchens.
Our new kitchen is stunning! The whole experience was so well organized from planning, choosing materials, and construction completion. Our designer, Mayerlin, was very helpful and responsive. S&W stayed true to budget and on schedule. All of the contractors who came to work in our home were on time, dependable, professional, and very clean. I will definitely use S&W again. Highly recommend!
I had been planning and visioning my outdoor living area for a couple of years before finally pulling the trigger. I had numerous companies come out to provide designs and quotes to best accomplish my ideas. I chose Sarah with S & W Kitchens to move forward with my project because I was impressed with her background and willingness to research ideas that she had not done before. The work went as scheduled, the job was clean and everyone friendly. When the project was complete, it was exactly what I had envisioned and I could not have been happier. I have been described as very particular and have frustrated contractors on previous projects with my expectations. The team at S & W did not bat an eye and made sure that everything was completed exactly to my request. I would highly recommend Sarah and S & W Kitchens for anyone that is in the market for an upgrade or an addition to their living area.
Greg from the Longwood store is ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! I can attest that no job is too small or beneath them. I came in with a small job and was treated as if I was remodeling a mansion. He was courteous and had the most professional demeanor and exceptional design ideas. I’m definitely a repeat customer!! And I appreciate that they are locally owned.
The show Room is beautiful. But the work they do is a 5 out of 10
There prices are insane! 40 grand for a basic small kitchen. Sorry no thanks.
Our experience with S&W has been a prolonged nightmare. They show little remorse for huge errors, and their workers appear to be overworked to the point of constant errors on the job. From our first meeting to our unfinished punch list, there has been little care or sense of urgency about critical errors.I would however like to mention up front that our Foreman (Pete) was amazing and thoughtful, but unfortunately quit the project as it became out of control. I don’t know if he left the company as well, but I wouldn’t blame him as he is not given the resources to succeed. Pete was also never replaced, and no issues were dealt with once he left the project.I will outline most of the problems we had starting from the beginning of the project.Once we had our design consultations at the Longwood showroom, we had our meeting to go over costs and timelines. We were quoted 11 weeks to a completion. It took at least double that to even get close to substantial completion, and there are still problems to this day (1/13/21). For reference, this meeting was at the end of March of 2020.Our biggest issue with this build was that they mismeasured our kitchen from the start, and didn’t figure that out until well into the build process when they noticed the cabinets would not be able to fit as designed. Their measurement was off by OVER A FOOT. The only person that seemed to care about this was our foreman, and the cabinet installers. The management continues to just say our kitchen looks nice, but refuses to acknowledge that it is a major issue that it was not the kitchen we ordered. This mismeasurement caused our kitchen to no longer be centered on a window, and we had to completely shift cabinets around. To the credit of their craftsmen, they did a very good job with the compromises, but they were just as horrified as we were. There were also other problems with the cabinets that caused them to come out for multiple visits which I will detail below. To that end, there are still problems with the finish of the cabinets that remain to this day even though the company seems to think they are done with this project. Here is a list of other issues that happened during our build:-A wall was framed in the wrong place and I had to correct the worker as I happened to be home that day. That caused some issues with our ceiling cracking later on-They lost kitchen hardware that took about a month to re-order-When installing our appliances, they caused a gas leak that we had to live with over a holiday weekend-They damaged a countertop during that appliance install and did not tell us. The damage was so severe that the counter had to be replaced.-They scratched the floor when they repaired the gas leak, and that scratch remains as the wood floor was installed by a different company.-We had several plumbing mishaps that required numerous revisits by the plumbers-They severed a pipe for our outside water-The cover and protect process they used for our wood floor caused moisture to build up and the floor had to be replaced-They completely installed an incorrect door which took weeks of visits to repair and it remains unfinished (missing a strike plate)-We had service people and inspectors show up unannounced and unexpected-We failed an inspection as they got the county confused even after we warned them several times about our county as we live near the county line-During this process they have been very slow at communication (weeks to respond)-Some of our kitchen hardware already has coating wearing offMy last email to the company was on December 8th. I received a reply about a week later that they were elevating our case to ownership, but as of today (1/13/21) it has been almost a month since, with no word from ownership.
They never called me
S&W Kitchens redid our kitchen and replaced all our tile flooring in the house. Designer Jaime was patience itself as he helped us select product, guiding us to the price, quality, and styles that we were interested in. He accommodated our schedule for meetings at home and at the show room. Project supervisor Austin kept us informed through every step of the process. He communicated with us every single day, most days in person as he stopped by to check on the work. If not in person, then on the phone. If I needed to call him, he always answered my call. All the workers did great work, were polite and efficient. I would most definitely use S&W Kitchens again.
We remodeled our kitchen and were lucky enough to be working with Brenda Ramirez. She was super helpful, accommodating and a true professional. Her ideas and suggestions were always in sync with our wants/needs and budget. I would work with Brenda on any home project again if given the opportunity. She was the total package from designer to project manager to quality control. We love our new kitchen!!!
It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm I can recommend the services provided by Brenda Ramirez, Design Consultant S&W Kitchens. Over the years Brenda and her team have been dependable, professional as well knowledgeable of the needs and meets demands of the construction industry. She treats customers with respect, responsive to problem solving and can be trusted to complete a job to customer satisfaction. As owner of ZEES Construction Inc. people like Brenda contribute to the success and reputation of our company.
After having used S & W Kitchens twice for remodels, I used them again to do a partial remodel of my master bathroom. It was a frustrating nightmare. It took 6 months from the time I signed the contract and gave my initial deposit to get it completed. And this redo did not include replacing the flooring or the toilet. The proper paperwork was not submitted to the county in a timely manner and some of it was missing, which caused delays. Some of the subcontractors did substandard work. had to be corrected by S & W punch team. The on-site superintendent was never on site unless I called him to report a problem. If he would have come on site after every sub was done, maybe some of these delays could have been avoided. I must say he was responsive and competent in knowing how to fix the problem and sent the punch team, several times, in a timely manner. I would not recommend S & W Kitchens to any one after this experience.
For the initial on site consult, this went very well. The staff were both friendly and professional and offered many helpful tips. Cant wait to see the final designs.
We could not be more pleased with the results of our kitchen renovation. The team at S&W Kitchens,Winter Springs, were exceptional during our entire project. Greg is amazing and from the first in home consultation we felt like we were his only clients. He allowed us time to work through our vision and had great suggestions every step of the way. It is difficult with so many choices and when we werent completely sure about some of the materials we had selected, he was patient as we made changes. Everyone of the craftsman that were in our home were very professional and respectful. We wholeheartedly recommend this team as we absolutely love everything about our new kitchen!Bob and Cindy W
S&W did an amazing job on my complete kitchen renovation. I cant say enough good things about their professionalism and attention to detail. I highly recommend working with Bill Burke and Tim Hobson
Horrible customer service! I spent over $20K on a kitchen with S&W. The under mount sink came unstuck from the granite counter top. I called to see could they remount it or recommend someone that could. I was told to pick up the phone book and find a handy man. Terrible!
Amazing selection of kitchens and bath with state of the art counter tops and door finishes.
Walked in to spend money on kitchen cabinets. I was ignored for 5 minutes by the receptionist. I finally asked for help. “She’s on the phone, but she will be right here.” I waited another 15 minutes. Mind you, there were 4 other employees milling about. I finally had enough and took my business elsewhere.
I scheduled an appointment with Mayerlin. 2 weeks of waiting and she never showed up. Called the office and they told me she would call me back. She called back with the scheduling error excuse. If I would have never called the office, I would never hear from her.Im looking for a professional. Someone who cant properly utlize a calender or reach out to you to notify you of a scheduling conflict is not that person.
Greg with S&W Kitchens was great! He came up with a great design for our mud room and was great with responding to every email we sent. Thank you!
Brenda has been great to work with for years. She is an asset to my business and provides great service to myself and her other customers.
Needed a repair to a 20 year old pull out cabinet that they originally installed. S&W ordered the parts and installed them all at a reasonable price. Hats off to Bill Burke and Tim👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
About a year ago someone came out to get measurements for a kitchen remodel, but never got back with me on the quote. Since I shouldnt have to follow up, I went elsewhere. Now, I decided to give them another try on a different project... I called for some information, the lady took my information and said she would call me back. I never heard from her! I guess they select their customers some kind of way or just have awful customers service and/or organization skills. Just want to warn others that you may have to keep calling them if you select them for your project because they are not good in getting back with you.
George and I had an amazing experience with Bill Burke and S&W Kitchens !! From Bills awesome design to the finished kitchen .. fast, easy and no problems Rita and George Young
Amazing! That is how I would describe my new kitchen, family and dining room. Sarah Kraus turned my living space into a dream space. The transformation is unbelievable. There were certain aspects of the house that I didn’t want to change like the huge rock fireplace and large cedar walls. She took advantage of these existing features of the house and worked with my wishes to keep these elements and designed a spectacular remodel. From the two different tiles that we used for the floor, the quartz countertops and the beautiful cabinets, every detail made the room look bigger and so inviting. S&W Kitchens has so many design choices and Sarah listened to what I wanted and worked to give me the best options for our space. Sarah presented options with pros and cons of each along with recommendations. This is not the first design we did with Sarah, she redesigned my master suite a year ago and she did an incredible job. If you are looking for a designer that will make your living space into something that you will love, I highly recommend Sarah Kraus.
We had a very positive experience with designer Kristin Rutkowski on our recent master bathroom remodel. She took the time to learn what our style is and suggested materials and fixtures that suited us to a T. We would definitely use her again in the future and highly recommend her.
Awesome company for home remodeling! My kitchen rocks! We had S&W Kitchens put a kitchen in our home 13 years ago and its still wonderful today. Cherry cabinets, lots of drawers, high-ish end appliances (GE Monogram and Thermador) - it all came together perfectly. There are a few minor things I could update that werent available back then but thats a lot less expensive than a whole remodel. Do it right the first time!
We needed a kitchen makeover to freshen up our house prior to sale. After several quotations, we put our faith in Sukie of S&W Kitchens and Sukie delivered. Right price, attention to detail, constant updates on progress, and quality finish on time.. Would absolutely recommend.
Making all the decisions was sometimes overwelming but Greg kept us grounded! The result is an amazing kitchen that I absoutely love❤👍
Just like another review on here they came out, in fact 3 people came out discussed what we wanted, took measurements and said we’ll contact you in a week with a quote. We never heard from them and it’s been 2 weeks.
Good for rich peopke
