Got my door painted less than 2 weeks ago here and it’s already showing signs of chipping and one spot wasn’t even smooth finish it looked as it someone touched it by the window trim. Door was painted off the car looked good but now it’s just proving that it wasn’t a factory quality paint job like I tried to make sure he understood that’s what I wanted . Called to explain that I wasn’t happy with the paint and he explained that it wasn’t like that when it left the shop so he doesn’t understand how it is his fault it chips .. over 1 star because I have to select at least one .

In addition to the body paint, they kindly cleaned my headlights and painted my tow hitch. Overall great for the price, but there were some issues with quality/paint consistency. Some of the paint on the roof started peeling after a month.

I went to Econo Auto Painting in Longwood and had a Fabulous experience, my car was rusted, peeling and faded paint all over. Jim was so helpful and got me in, even though the last guy forgot to schedule my appointment. Jim took my estimate right away and was done with my car in 2 1/2 days. My car is beautiful. The guy that does the detailing went the extra mile and even cleaned my cloudy head lights. Now the lights are cleaned I will be able to see better at night. They took out the dent in my car and my car is a 2007 Corolla that looks Brand New. I have already referred them to my co-worker whose son needs his truck painted. The price was excellent, as I have gone to other places that wanted to charge double what I paid. My whole Family said they were very happy with the results as well.

My 1st car recently got dented from an accident, and I came to Econo paint for a quote. I spoke to Jim and he gave me an honest, and affordable quote. The team at Econo paint (mostly Jim as far as customer service) is excellent! They were very on top of everything and are very knowledgeable. I am more than satisfied and me and my family will continue visiting Econo paint. I am so happy my first car can finally go back to normal, they got me scheduled very efficiently and worked with my schedule! Thank you so much team!

I been going to Econo a few years this would of been my forth time But it seems that every time I go they go up in price for the same car I bring them yesterday they gave me a estimate with 75 for prep work but in the description it said no prep work needed the paint job was supposed to be 325.00 by the time he totaled it .It came to 679.00 for a simple paint job. I am so disappointed in ECONO.

Im very disappointed with our overall experience at Econ Auto Painting 725 Hwy 17-92 Longwood FL. We brought in our vehicle for paint service on 12/15/2020. Upon pickup, we noticed that the paint looked like an orange peel and dull spots throughout the body. Our fenders, doors and window glass has overspray paint on them. The hood and roof was not prepped well leaving debris under paint. I brought this to the attention of Jim the advisor. He wanted to argue with me instead of trying to resolve the issue. Unhappy customer.

Econo paint is the bomb. This is my second car painted here. No where else can you get more than a 1 year warranty on a paint job at this price. I am very pleased with this location. They will get my cars body work as long as they want my business. I really appreciate you guys at Econo Paint, Sam Dudley....

*UPDATE*As promised, Im updating my previous review.After my husband spoke over the phone & had a face to face conversation with Jim (manager), he graciously agreed re-do the job. He recognized it was not done or handled properly.To avoid hearsays, I requested pictures to be texted after the car was fully sanded and he complied with our request.The workers CAN do a good job, yet were sloppy and lazy the first time around. I hope, for the sake of others, they strive to do their best, every time. It will only benefit the company.Im only giving it a 4 star due to the time wasted, aggravation and inconvenience but happy with the outcome.Thank you Jim for taking care of it.*Original review*I am hopeful to update this review after I take the car back to get fixed on 2/11/2020.I took my 20 year old Toyota Celica to get a full paint job. I bought the Poly-Supreme package (this was their most expensive) $702.99. It entails hand sanding & dual action machine sanding, then the car is painted with catalyzed enamel and integrated clear coat finish. It has a 3 year warranty.I know of someone that took his car there and he warned me to tell them to take OFF the emblems or they would just paint over it.So we made sure to tell the manager to take off the emblems. Furthermore, the passenger mirror a big chunk of paint had come off and we brought it to their attention.My husband and I dropped off the car on 1/29 and picked it up 2/1.First thing:*Was NOT called to advise the car was ready (I had to call)*Immediately my husband noticed the GTS emblem was missing. (At least they took it off right?!)*They left the GLUE of the emblems on and painted over the glue which created nasty build up.If the car was hand AND machine sanded, how is it possible that there is GLUE residue? They sanded perfectly AROUND it? They poorly glued back on the TOYOTA emblem, which could easily fall off.If the car was sanded, how come we can feel the indention where paint fell off on the mirror?CLEARLY we paid for a service that did not receive.All of these issues were addressed when the car was picked up. Furthermore, my husband spoke to the manager 2/4 and we are dropping it off 2/11.I am hopeful they do the right thing and do the job right the 2nd time around. Then Id be happy to update.Last note, they only take CASH! Is it so they can do a poor job and the consumer cannot dispute their charges?!(Full car pic is before the paint job to show they didnt put the emblem GTS)

Two year update. The color change on my 1998 Jeep Cherokee is now 2 years old, but is holding up extremely well . . . and looks just as good as it did 2 years ago when I picked it up from the shop !! Thank you Jim and team for a job well done !! Recent photos show the completed jeep with the roof top tent, etc.Jim and the team did an Awesome job on the color change of my 1998 Jeep Cherokee !! The 20 year old Jeep went from faded red to bright rally yellow in a weeks time !! Jim and the team painted the jambs, hood, repaired the dents, etc. I had thought about this color change for years but never took the plunge . . . until I talked to Jim . . who gave me an excellent price . . . and was confident that the results would be Awesome. My original review is below and as I first reported Econo did a great job on our vehicle however I feel its necessary to update because of a recent development. When we picked up our Santa Fe we noticed the bug shield was not on the vehicle and mentioned to Jim. He responded that the paint needed to cure and if we needed help getting it back on, he would be happy to so. Since its been 4 weeks, my husband was going to put the shield back on the vehicle at which time discovered there was hardware missing to reinstall and he decided to take the vehicle back to get assistance. When my husband arrived Jim told him the bug shields are just dust collectors and do no good. We wanted this on the vehicle because of upcoming love bug season so Jim asked a guy to put the shield on and the gentlemen dropped the hardware right off the bat (losing even more parts), didnt have a clue what he was doing and in the end it was not properly installed. Because of tbis my husband went inside to ask Jim to have the guy take it off, Jim completely ignored him and walked away. My husband promptly left and the shield wobbled all the way home and the hood would not close properly because of the guys careless installation. There are now a couple scratches on the vehicle. I stand by my original review that the paint job and initial dealings with Jim were great but dont expect the same treatment if you need to return. Very disappointed as we had planned to take our Elantra to be painted....that plan has changed.Original Review...Econo did a great job on our vehicle. We are extremely happy with our overall experience. Jim was great at explaining everything and our vehicle was ready when promised. A+

Good prices and friendly people. Terrible paint work. I just had a hood done and it looks embarrassing in the light. Id probably let them do bumpers and stuff on older vehicles, but not anything you take pride in or as visible as a hood.

Needed a bumper cover repainted. Spoke to Jim who gave me an initial estimate without seeing the part. When I took the part in the job actually came on under budget and ahead of schedule. Completely satisfied with the work and the customer service. Will definitely be using them again in the future.

Friendly at initial interaction which led me to get some paint work done there. But when I came back with questions about the quality of the paint work I was quickly dismissed and given plenty of excuses.

Second car I will be getting painted there. Free estimates and definitely the best bang for the buck!

My family has been coming here for years for auto services. I even got my 1st car painted here :) I recently needed my bumper fixed due to a scratch and he took care of me right away, at a great price, with quality work! You should deff check them out. Cash only!

Horrible customer service. Paint job was horrible. I was told my paint job was warrantied for a year but,I came back a few months later and I was told its a pro-rated warranty. Even after they said I had to wait at least 30 days for the paint to cure before they redo it. The prorated price of repainting was never told to me until I tried to get them to redo the job. It was horribly done with paint drtip everywhere and it was very visible that the car wasnt sanded down before repainting. Also,I paid extra for the clear coat that obviously wasnt on the car. I was told it was a clear it mixture in the paint. Overall,terrible job that Ill have to get redone somewhere else.

I dont know. I have never taken a car to be painted at Econo.

Great service before, during and after the sale. Had touch ups they corrected while I waited. Bottom line...fast, quality service at a good price.

Disclaimer: Do not take your car to get detailed, the paint will come off!Had my paint job done over three months ago so it had plenty of time to cure, I dont know if its faulty clear coat that was applied if at all. But if you want it done properly, take your car to your dealer or an accident repair shop. Not to the fault of the great people at Econo but its a sub $1000 paint job, its going to have problems, dont expect factory if you go to Econo.

Over spray on trim and not good prep work and in some places not well painted took it back to the shop for clean Over spray in trim and they damaged the glass window with the polisher and have paint running marks. White toyota tacoma on November5 2020

Staff was friendly, informative, and to the point. Paint job was beautiful, quick, and at a great price. Also appreciate that they didnt try to oversell it. Some places make you feel that they are pushing the sale and you need to do it now and add all the extras but they didnt do that here.

I have picked my commercial van Mercedes Metris from this place today 08/10/19:Rear right door was painted without taking it off vehicle, all paint vent to my cargo van, all over my tools, hitch receiver, back bumper, shelves inside of cargo area!!!!!On the top of it paint was not matched with left door and top of painted door was not done correctly!I have questioned quality of work right away they told me I have to come back for another hour of work? I m the business owner and these people don’t care. If they do, they will provide more quality and professional work not to damage other people property, and provide solutions not to tell me “ this is between company and you, I just work here” Come one!!!I will dispute these charges from Econo paint and I will consult consumer affairs office, general attorney how to further handle this case.By the way door was painted like my 5 years old did it.Advice, do not take your car for painting here, you will pay for something that you will be not just unsatisfied, but sorry that you ever walked in this place.My door all ready have leaks of paint to much applied, that is so visible.Anyway, thanks God that we can stop payment and take this people in front of law to protect consumers from business practice that is not acceptable.

I had my 2011 vehicle done here 9/30/19. I was waiting before doing a review to see the results, frankly I am quite happy, my car was hit while parked. however I did not want to put a claim in with the insurance company. My bumper was all messed up. I repainted the vehicle, they tried and match the paint as close as possible. I would recommend this shop.

Amazing customer service & my paint looks perfectI live in Orlando and I drove to this Longwood location because they are professional they do an amazing job .they always treat me great & literally are one of the best places in Orlando and in Longwood they have a location near Orlando but they don’t do anywhere near a good of a job as this location and it’s because of the staff mr.Jim the manager here is amazing and he actually wants to help you get your car looking as beautiful as canbe they have an amazing staff here I have gotten 2 cars painted here and would never go anywhere else

What a joke! The sad thing is that the paint job wasnt that bad but the prep was horrible and upon delivery, I discovered that they had scratched the #$% out of my brand new tail lights. They left adhesive material where the badges go, which should have been sanded clean, they just painted right over that. We discussed several items that I wanted to make sure were sanded off, like the gravel sticker at the bottom of the rear fender molding, etc. Nothing was done that I asked except the three dents I paid for to be repaired. When I called about the taillights, I was told to bring them up and they would take a look at them. Two days later, I hadnt heard anything so I called. Another person answered and told me they were replacing my lights and I could come get the scratched ones since I havent been able to drive the truck for going on two weeks now. When we arrived to pickup the scratched lights, it was like there was never a conversation. No one knew why we were there because they hadnt had time to work on the scratched lights. Great customer service right! And they lost at least 5 other paint projects due to this horrible interaction. Stay away!

To be honest I wasnt expecting too much when I brought my car here based on some of the other reviews, but it turns out they did a great job! I brought my car to 3 other places to get quotes and what the other places wanted were WAY out of my price range. Econo Paint was third of the price of the other places. Econo Paint was recommended to me by a friends dad who has been bringing his cars there for years so I thought Id give them a try. I had a small dent and paint chips on a rear door for my 2015 Subaru Forester (Its my wifes car and I swiped a pole) and I was just expecting a patch job. When I went to pick the car up I was amazed at how well they matched the paint and I couldnt even tell where the dent or paint scratches were. In fact there were a couple of other dings on the door that they fixed as well so that was a nice surprise. I dropped the car off one day and picked it up the next day. I dealt with Jim and was he was very professional and just a nice all around guy. I would highly recommend Econo Paint on Highway 17/92 if you need touchup work or spot painting. These guys are awesome!

Husband just took his S10 Truck to be painted. They did an excellent job. They had it for two days and did the pin stripe too. Louis was very professional and his truck is now concord blue and very beautiful. Nice job and would recommend it to anyone.

My car came out great, exactly what I wanted. I have a 2002 Acura, its over 16 years old and the paint was old, fading and chipping. I got the mid-grade option, definitely wanted the extra sanding done. For the price and how it came out, I dont think you can beat it. Ive also gotten several compliments on how it looks.

Quick fast good work...great place to get work trucks painted. Ive always used them... I would trust them with higher end stuff I just only own work trucks!

Very poor job done on my car. Had some paint running they told me to take it back for them to fix it and when picked it up, the areas where it was supposed to be fixed the paint was kind of matte. They told me to take it back again so they fix it again. Told them to fix a crack and they just put paint on top of it, obviously the paint soon is gonna lift and peel from there. Plus all the black rubber around the car and inside the door got spray and stain with the white paint. Also gave them entire brand new set of headlight and they didnt handle them with care and got stain as well. Im soo disappoint it. I wish I could opened my eyes and all be a bad dream.

Ive had several cars painted by this company,only because they always had a sale,but this time the $185 sale turned out to be $468, and I paid an extra $100 for a clear coat. My car is victory red and it turned out to be darker than original color. I was very disappointed..My car wasnt the same color as it should have been and wasnt shiny. I was told that a few waxes would make it brand new again, but of course it wasnt. I expected the clear coat to make it shiny. Being a woman I feel like Ive been cheated. This company did not honor my year warranty. Now my car looks worst before I had it painted.

Have my car done today. Good price, fast, cheaper than Maaco. The only issue is they broke my spoiler and did not fixed it, Im disappointed.

Very rude trying to charge me more than any other body shop by adding stupid preparing for the paint then the paint then paint material etc...And when I tried to negotiate Jim answer was that is my price take it or hit the door, so rude unprofessional, he want to charge me 207$ for one panel and they said they do the whole care for 250, and iam a car dealer and normally our prices is 120$ a panel, i dont care if you want to rip off pepole and go with this prices but at least don’t be that rude, I don’t suggest that place to any one, all my family and friends are in car business we have more than 30 locations around, believe me no one will deal with you again, disrespectful, ignorant..

Not a bad job for the price, I went with Econo because they were fast, I dropped my car off Thursday evening and received it on Saturday morning if the same week. They did a good job!

Was quoted by MAACO in Jacksonville for a body/paint repair at $1600 before tax. I drove down to longwood to get a quote at the advice of a friend and I am very glad I did! Econo of Longwood did the same repair for only $542 after taxes! I am very happy with the result. You cannot beat the prices here! Thank you to the manager, Jim, and the guys who did the work on my car.

Just had my 2004 Sebring painted. The paint it self wasnt bad, but the clear coat was peeling off. Brought it in about 10 am on Thursday got the call at 12:30 Friday all done. They really need to slow down, very bad prep work. Paint on all the glass, paint even on the tires. Poor taping. They even removed the Sebring badge and didnt replace it. Even hair trapped under the pinstripe.You can see and feel paint under new paint professionally detailed after the 30 day waiting period. Hopefully that should clean things up. I realize that this wasnt a $2000 paint job, but only $300(which is a lot to me). They sure could use better quality control.

The old Manager Jim is back and this place is the best!!! I just took my 2015 Acura ILX in for front quarter panel repair and my car looks like new! In addition, I received five other estimates and all were double of what Jim quoted me. Im extremely satisfied!!!

THEY DID A HORRIBLE ORANGE PEEL JOB ON MY 2006 RAM 1500 WITH LOW LOW MILES! THEY DEVALUED THE VEHICLE. IT LOOKED BETTER BEFORE THEY ACTUALLY PAINTED IT ! WHAT A DISASTER! TAKE SOME PRIDE IN YOUR WORK FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!!!

I have to disagree with the below rating. I got my wifes car painted here after a fender bender and they did an excellent job. And Im picky when it comes to details. Plus, if youre going to accuse folks have no common sense, you may want to spell it correctly first. ;-)@michael, I can assure that I do not work for this place. Ive had three cars now done by Econo, and the staff there are good folks. Matter fact, Im about to take my car back to them to have an issue straightened out since some idiot hit me the other day.

I took my car (corvette) there in April for paint job including door jambs. Paint bubbled after a couple of weeks. Jim, the manager, reluctantly took it back to correct defects but did nothing to remove overspray or replace the rear glass hatch that was abraded by the sanding. Bubbles came back, returned to Econo 3 times to correct bubbles. It was worse than before. He told me no warranty on fiberglass. That was not on the order. I can not recommend Econo in Longwood and probably would not use Econo anywhere based on the performance of Econo in Longwood.

DO NOT Get your auto body paint done at Econo Body Painting and Bodyworks!! (Longwood)We got a deal that turned out too good to be true.. And sadly it really wasn’t. I had two cars to be painted a Honda Civic and a Ford Escape Hybrid. After some price negotiations we came to a price we really liked plus were told we had a year warranty and after that it was prorated. I asked what I needed to bring in to prove that and he said just the work order. First they painted the Civic, it’s not a great paint job but not horrible at the price we paid we thought hey its ok. We didnt notice the over-spray paint on the headlights until much later but even that were going to let slide. Then they painted just the hood on the Escape and since that paint was ‘higher quality’ we had to pay more. They did it and again over spray on the headlights and gaps on the paint near the windshield sprayer and then what looks to be puddles of clear coat on the hood. I pointed that out to Luis. Luis says sure he’ll take care of it but bring it back in a couple of weeks. We got busy and since we had a year to bring it back (or so we thought) we decided we would get to bringing it back in eventually. Fast forward 8 months later we decided it’s time to get this handled. We take it in and since we waited so long it’s now out of warranty. I explained we had a year he said no you only have 90 days on the ‘spot’ paintings. I asked him to show that to me in the paperwork and he wasnt able to. He turned around and was going to CHARGE me to fix work they did incorrectly. I was so infuriated, that I was calm and amazed at the situation. I highlighted the sheer madness of the situation but that fell on deaf and well-practiced ears at swindling people. So unless you want shoddy work and mysterious moving non documented warranties DO NOT go to Econo, it’s a NO NO.--Edit--The took care of the issues after a few emails with people in there accounting office and BBB ComplaintWord to the wise if you go here get the warranty in writing!!!!

Well I took my car here to get painted that was in real bad shape as far as paint goes and several dents and deep scratches. The hood was peeling real bad to where you can see the metal and the driver door was a different color from the car. They took my car in and was done in 3 days. At first glance the car looked perfect. They took care of most dents and the paint looked awesome and shiny. For the price I was very happy. Then when I got home I noticed how dirty the car had gotten inside and out. I cleaned the inside. I just lightly rinsed and shamied the outside and noticed all of the imperfections. 2 really rough spots on the front bumper and the hood starting to peel again and lots of air bubbles. During the job they had called me and told me about the hood been bondoed and its going to have imperfections when theyre done cuz they dont mess with the bondo but when I finally did my first wash I noticed all of the imperfections match where the paint was peeling. It seems they just sanded the parts where the paint was loose and left the rest. For now they get 2 stars until I see how they care of this.

POOR QUALITY - UNPROFESSIONALI took my car to this place to fix two dents in my car (hood and door), they told me that they would be able to match my car color (standard from factory). Not only they did not match the color, but paint was sprayed where they were not supposed to (windows, grill, wiper blades arms).

They are cheap so you get what you pay for. They painted my sunroof n didnt tape over my windows and lights properly

At first glance looked good but after all the dust came out the colors did not match all two completely different shades going back to ask them to fix it or look for a refund or lawsuit
