First time to this location, it had an interesting interior with a disco ball and good rock music on the speakers.The staff was helpful and friendly, the toast and gravy was very good i highly recommend this dish if you are a fan of biscuits and gravy, the breakfast burrito was a solid breakfast choice as well.Over all a 5 star experience, i will return.

I was looking for a really good Matcha Latte and came across this shop! It was so cute and authentic! The Matcha was one of the best Ive ever had and the service was great!!!

The steel cut oats wit fruit was great. The avocado toast toast waz also good. And the burger looked huge.

Had been craving homemade sausage gravy and found this spot and a 4.9 rating. They do not have biscuits only sourdough toast which sounded delicious but the sausage gravy was probably the worst I’ve ever had. Very odd and different taste, if you’re used to moms or grandmas this isn’t it, in my opinion.

Excellent, homey, and fun. Breakfast burrito was tasty. The feel of the place transcends anything in the area. Their kitchy decor feels fresh as a daisy, which is a difficult achievement. Recommended, recommended, recommended.

I had the Young Frankenstein Burger and being honest, it was one of the best gourmet burgers I have ever had. I dont usually review food but it was worth the time. The flavor of the meat, bread, and toppings just go great together. I will definitely be going again. The fries were okay, not bad at all but not excellent, but they complimented the burger very well. Overall, awesome experience.

I had the Peanut butter toast and it was amazing. But let me tell you about my second order, Sauage gravy toast. Sauage gravy has been my favorite since my first experience with it in 02, I was a young kid new to the Army surrounded by my southern peers. It has been my favorite breakfast food since, I have had many versions of bread and sausage gravy, always made a different way. We used to call it S.O.S. Anyway, Brew & Stew has the absolutely BEST Sauage Gravy I have EVER had in my life. I do not give praise like that often but I promise if you get it, you will not be let down. The vibe of Brew & Stew is comfortable and welcoming. I will be a returning customer for a long time.

I absolutely love coming here the ladies are absolutely amazing the food is good the drinks are good the atmosphere is very artsy and cute and very chill spot I love coming here just to get away from my household or coming there to eat with my kids the things that I do recommend are the chicken the fried pickles the French toast the spice vanilla chai tea and the cinnamon lattes absolutely delicious also they have really good cookies and pastries so check it out I also had their burgers theyre absolutely delicious and the size of your head

So when I first tried it lats year I wasnt a big fan.. but this Cali sandwich has been the hightlight of my Friday so far. I had to bring my fellow Co workers to try the food and lemonade 😋. Also the vegan cake or 🍩. Would gave 5 but love 🍟 and only got a little.

Complete surprise. When I think of a coffee shop with some baked goods, I think a few pastries, maybe some panini style sandwiches and good coffee.What I got was amazing paninis with thick sourdough bread and some of the best coffee Ive had in the area. Oh, and toast isnt sliced bread toast, its the same sourdough and big enough that we took half home.Seriously overlooked. You guys really need some better signage, btw. Its a hard place to find when driving.

This local spot is cozy and quaint & the food is just delicious. I almost dont want to share this gem and heres why. There is limited wait staff here and occasionally, this will cause a wait time. Some diners tend to be bothered by this, but I dont mind. You usually order, find a table in the dining area, then await your meal. The restaurant is open for both breakfast and lunch. My coworkers, who stumbled upon this spot by chance & encouraged my visit, often rave about the breakfast panini, chicken paprikash and Brew & Stews delectable coffee. I am now a fan myself. Yet, what I live for, my friends, is their bread. The bread is soft, flavorful and the crust--no doubt where cravings begin. I usually order the turkey avocado panini and I have never been disappointed. They also offer pleasing portions of a soup of the day and some sweet treats to enjoy as well. The Brew is a little pricey to some, but the indulgence is well worth the visit. A truly surprising treat in downtown Lorain right down to the dinnerware from Grandmas hutch.

This place is awesome. Comfortable and cute. Amazing offerings and everything is hand crafted. This is the place you can come sit with a friend if you need a space to chat. We saw a promotion for this nearby place on TV, and went. A few years ago it was a struggling coffee/pastry shop among closed businesses on Broadway I Lorain. Now it is vibrant coffee/soup/sandwich spot serving deliciousness. It is also great to see businesses filling shops all around. Yay!

The food was absolutely delicious everything we had was great! The Sausage Gravy and toast was probably the best Sausage gravy Ive ever had! The Chicken Paprikash was delicious, the Steel Cut Oatmeal was delicious, and the Peanut Butter Toast was great, the Pecans on it were absolutly INCREDIBLE!!! I am going to become a regular here for sure, loved everything about it great place to spend time with my Mother withincredible food! Thanks Mary GREAT food highly enjoyed ourselves!

A wonderful place to come and relax with family or friends for a cup of coffee. Bohemian atmosphere, friendly management, and simply a relaxing place to chill. My mother and I stayed for hours and didnt want to leave...also their food is AMAZING.

While the staff is friendly and food is decent, they dont open on time. Been there several times and they are supposed to open at 7am but dont get there till around 20 after. Have to be at work by 8. Very dissatisfied.

Absolutely love this place I have been there quite a few times and my favorites are their breakfast panini and chicken paprikash!!! Also the bourbon brownie is fantastic. And all of the drinks I’ve tried are amazing! Give Brew n Stew a chance if you haven’t it’s such a nice breakfast/lunch place!

Awesome, little pricey on some things; but worth every penny. There coffee drinks are great, my wife addicted to their brownies and Ive never had a problem with there sandwiches, except I generally want a second one cause they are so darn great!

Stopped here on a Saturday and the place was booming. So glad to see a business thriving in downtown Lorain. The staff were so nice and friendly. My friend and I both ordered the tomato basil soup and split a four cheese fancy AF panini. You could tell right away the soup was homemade and not from a gross can. They put some time and love into that soup. Honestly in my top 5 best soups Ive ever had. And the Panini! Holy Toledo was it amazing. It came on fresh sourdough bread from Blackbird bakery in Lakewood (the bread was so good we asked and ended up driving there to buy a loaf) filled with cheddar and provolone all toasted up in the panini grill. On top of all of that, I ordered a caramel latte and I cannot express how delicious that was. If you havent checked it out yet, go! You will not be disappointed.

AMAZING chicken paprikash!!!!! My family and I were visiting from the west coast and stumbled upon Brew & Stew as we were driving through town looking for a good lunch place. What a fabulous place. We loved the sandwiches, chicken paprikash, and chicken noodle soup. PLEASE, people of Lorain and northern Ohio, EAT HERE; youve got such a gem here. This place simply must stay in business until we return to Ohio again!

Bizarre place. First nobody greets you. I mean even McDonalds says Hi. The menu, and ordering is very confusing. The wait for the sandwich and biscuits and gravy was 15 min, and there was just one other table. The coffee wasn’t that hot. Is there table service or not? The entire thing was awkward.
