It could be a great store but they really need to go through their products. Some have been on the shelf for years. It’s also a little high in price.I spent $35 for 3 small containers of spices, one of which was old and had already been opened. String beans that were soggy/black. (I didn’t notice until I got home.) And a bag of lentils that are filled with gnats. They have a selection, they just need to take inventory of how long some things have been sitting on the shelf. Also spices lose flavor after an expiration date. There’s no need to pay $7 for expired spices.
Okay... I was in traffic and happened to be stopped in front of this market and never even stepped a foot inside, but Google is Never wrong so maybe I just forgot I shopped here... Youre the best Google!! Seriously though, I used the combined star ratings of all reviews and took the average to make my score. Seems like this place is boo boo and only good for salt and pepper... 2 Stars!
Its a small tight store. But I found a lot of stuff Im accustom to and I purchase a lot of them. I dont know if Ill revisit because upon checking out I wasnt too happy the cashier was not too friendly.
Always clean and organized. Great fish choice!
Calling it an Asian market is misleading because most of the items they sell were Indian
Besides cost of the items, I like everything about this store. You will find almost all the Indian food, spices, utensils, snacks, vegetables etc here.
Nice local Market for those hard to find ingredients.
Good go-to place for Asian ingredients!
This place may look lonely but its such a great place. Business owner is such a sweet and helpful guy. Hes always entertaining you with jokes or with his life stories. Stop by the store when you have the chance, you wont regret it.
Perhaps the only option for Sub continental ingredients in that area, thats why it is popular. Otherwise how can one realistically like the place when there are hardly any parking options for that place. Correct me if I am wrong, but we can only park on street, right? The variety is okay for South Asian stuff (Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi ingredients). I could not compare prices though. They havent put down prices on any aisle, so its very frustrating to ask them for prices for everything.
Very nice store, you can find every middle eastern spices and condiments. Great prices to.
This was my favorite grocery shoping place. But from today i am not going there any more. The owner of the business have no respect for the customer. He always charge extra and sell expired products.
Nice selection of spices!
They are really sweet talker. Will sale you the crappy stuff saying its good. You know that people will find out when they bring it home and eat it. You should not be dishonest and provide incorrect information to your customers. Trying to sale should not be your only goal. But satisfy customers so they keep coming back.
They have a good collection of southeast Asian food. Although this Place is kind of small and they have only few parking spot.
A bit over-priced and small selection, but private parking lot and free van to and from is a rare gem in the city. A good place for emergency dash for missing ingredients last minute.
The owner and the other employees are very rude. Most of the products are overpriced and expired.
Great deals on Asian and Middle Eastern food products. Friendly and helpful employees. I always get a variety of dahl, bulghur, mango pickle, and ingredients for vadai, dosa, and other Indian preparations.
We go to this supermarket every time. Friendly service. Good meat and groceries. Clean store.
Best place to buy Indian food
Asian Mart is an Indian grocery store. You can find almost every indian grocery here. Plus you can buy fresh meat from here.
Nice little neighborhood South Asian market with a variety of Indian snacks. The owner is very helpful and friendly too.
Did not find what im looking for. Vietnamese roll wrapper. Owners are helpful. I believe they are from india (correct me if im wrong). Exotic food choices. Hard to find ingredients may be found here. No parking structure only street parking.
We go there all the time. Friendly service. Good meat and groceries. Clean store.
Good Indian/Pakistani food grocery store.
Always a good local grocery store I can conveniently walk to
Can get regular Chapathi, Gopi Yogurt, Bru coffee, Vegetables, Green Chilli, Curry leaves etc. :)
Very interesting
Nice place to get subcontinent groceries
This is one of my fav indian groceries i have been going for over 6 years now. It really has a wide variety of indian products and is located on the 3rd street. The raw chicken is fresh and also they provide fish directly imported from India or Bangaldesh.
Should really be called the South Asian Mart. Not much East or SEA stuff. I was looking for Thai curry there and had no luck. If you are looking for SA stuff though they should have it!
South Asian foods especially Bangladeshi foods are available.
Has all the foods and Spices I was looking for to make Indian Food, like Palak Paneer or Chicken tikka masala, they have lots of selections of Nann, and have Curry spices that came with all the spices I was looking for in one bag, that was awesome. They even sell meats and prepared chicken, fish and more.
