Jordan Market is pretty good, they have a little bit of everything. I got some lamb shanks from here one time and I remember them being good. I wish they had a larger middle eastern bread selection.
My father has been working here for over 10+ years. He is a honest working man and I love him dearly. Im proud of all the great reviews people have been giving this place.
I really like the man running this place. He is a true gentleman and very very nice. The lady is not in a good mood and has an aggressive tone for no reason. My mother asked her if they accept card and I paid with card the last Time, she ignores her and says No.I ask her myself and tell her that I did pay last time with card and this lady answers in a very sharp and aggressive tone “$8 is not $10 minimum with card” and stares me down. I was frankly surprised because if she had said the exact same thing in a nice tone or polite tone, I would have bought more things to reach the $10. So what’s the moral of the story? Ego is not conducive to running a successful business, especially in a mom and pop non corporate store where they depend on regulars.See this guys and understand why business close and don’t progress- bad customer service. I will think twice about shopping here again.
Way too expensive. Honestly, just go to Ralphs and you will get a higher quality for cheap.
Nice place. We get the necessary things for survival for asians.
Great Middle Eastern groceries collection ten minutes from Beverly Hills.
Not as high quality as you would expect. The price is not indicative of the quality at all.
First time visit today. Seems very nice, clean and organized store with focus on middle eastern food items. Will definitely go back again.
Good market but to expensive compared to other compatibles
Good shop for emergency..
Jordan mainly Persians Market they have variety of Middle eastern foods that you cant find in any ordinary supermarkets. I highly recommend shopping there for the many delicious specialties foods in the deli section and in the other sections of the market.
Nice people, Good prices!
Super expensive comparison to other groceries
This place is amazing great for all of your Persian products and more. I like their selection of meats and fish I love their selection of imported cookies. They always have fresh vegetables available fruits and plenty of dairy products. Eggs milk you name it. The customer service is excellent And theres parking in the back. If youre in the Westwood area Jordan market is the place to get most of your Persian products and then some.
Wife loves this market but parking is sometimes hard to find. They have some parking spots in the alley.
Persian / Arabic food is sold here. Customer service is good. Selection is a small but I am usually able to find whah I need .
Horrible! Went there to buy some lamb because I couldnt find it anywhere else. The butcher ended up handling it with his bare hands! Not only is that a terrible idea generally, but its even worse during a pandemic. I was then charged a $13 fee to even use the deli, which costed more than the meat itself. Once I got home roughly 5 minutes later, I opened up the plastic bag the lamb was in to find some putrid smelling rotten meat. When I looked at it closer I could see mold on it. Im amazed this place is allowed to be open by the health department
Great Mediterranean grocery shop. Great variety of everything.Be aware for the price, as some items are relatively high.Other than that, great if you look for Mediterranean stuff
Great produce
Persian, Arabic and Mediterranean foodOlivier salad, chicken cutlets. Different yammy pastries, pakhlava. Various nuts, really juicy dates. Very delicious small grapes. Farm growing produce. Variety of Persian items.
I bought naneh khamehei it was horrible. looks like for a weak ago!!!Test is spoiled milk! Bread was old!
Nicemarket with lots of different and interesting international foods. I recommend it.
Good persian market
The best Persian market in west LA
Attitude is everything, isnt it? Many other markets in the same block with better service
I like going there. For instance, I got a couple of Persian cucumbers; one was to snack on the way home. It was the best I ever had. That is where I buy tahini (ground up sesame seeds, more liquid than peanut butter) MidEast brand, $10/32 oz. It separates so do stir it well. Sometime letting it sit upside down make the job easier.
A great variety of items, but youre paying for convenience. Drive 40 minutes to Anaheim and everything is half the price. Was happy to find Lebanese pita (thinner than most) in LA.
I liked this place, it contain most of things i need especially form our orginal home.

This feels more like a local store than a brand name supermarket. They have fresh fruit and special middle eastern food including saffron ice cream.

Great Mediterranean and middle east market...
As a student I find cost and convenience one of the primary factors in choosing a shopping destination. Jordan Market satisfies both to a point, but doesnt offer much to incentivize a return. I live just a couple blocks down and thought walking to buy groceries would be a nice change from scrounging around for rides to Ralphs/TJs.On entering I immediately noticed how well-kept the store is. Its clean and bright, small but not unnecessarily packed. Despite being aware of and catering to its Persian environment/audience, it does not smack you in the face with that, and most of the signage is in English. Prices are a little difficult to find on items; they arent often marked on the shelf, you have to pick up the item to search for the sticker.I spent about 30 minutes walking around, and found that most of my basics wants could be satisfied—they have a meat service counter, fully stocked produce, eggs, milk. I did not find a normal loaf of bread, but they have a lot of flatbreads that Im not familiar with, and I ended up picking up a 4-pack of deli-style, torpedo bread. Theres a lot of canned cucumbers, olives, legumes, etc., none of which are in my normal dietary routine. Produce pricing was similar or lower than that of Ralphs, but for brand-name basics (Silk milk, for example), its not a wise idea to get them here ($3.99 for a half liter, when its that or less for a whole liter at CVS or Ralphs)Checkout was fast and pleasant. The cashier made some conversation and was very polite. I left with four bags of basics, which will last about a week, totaling about 34$. I will probably visit again if I dont have a ride to the larger supermarkets, but the selection for the general population outside the intended clientele was limited there and I dont feel anything particularly special about the place.
Great selection of Persian and other items!
I visited LA from Boston and Im clearly not used to the Los Angeles attitude of we hate our fellow Persians and we judge them - wicked rude staff; if I do visit LA again which I probably wont at least I know I wont be shopping for any Persian goods at this place!
Excellent Persian sandwiches and cuisine
