Disclosure: Im originally from Thailand. This place is legit!! I didnt buy any grocery, but this place was well stocked. I would come back for Thai spices and fish sauce. Went there for street foods. 3 items with a mound of rice was only $11. See pictures for available dishes. I asked to substitute sticky rice for white rice and the lady SAID YES. Thats service! I had red curry, chicken basil, and pork shank (kha Moo) with picked vegetables. Cousin had catfish, green curry, and pork stew w 5 spices. ALL DELICIOUS. Bought desserts too and had them at home. Still delicious (coconut milk custards and sweet egg noodles or foi thong). Then attempted to get coconut cakes (khanom krok), but the wait was 25 minutes. ***ORDER YOUR COCONUT CAKE FIRST THEN GO HAVE LUNCH OR GO SHOPPING THEN COME BACK*** This place is 6 stars. Everything is open air and masks are required. No Covid-19! Why fly all the way to Asia and do 14 days quarantine when you can get everything here!!

The original wholesale restaurant supply. LAX-C caters to Asian restaurants. LAX-C served all California, mostly central and southern. Las Vegas restaurants also gets their supplies here. But what is even better, they allow anyone to shop and get the same wholesale prices with out a membership.Note: Their ready made meals sells out by 4:00. Get there early for varieties of great tasting meals.

Cheap cheap stuff from Thailand. This place is also known as the Thai Costco. They sell almost everything in bulk. But you can always buy just 1 too. Even if you buy a small amount, its still cheaper than Silom market in thai town. The reason for 1 less star is because they dont treat their small customers very well. I feel judged when I shop there because I didnt buy a lot. They only take debit or cash or there will be a 3% fee on credit card.

Pots. Presents. Lots of noodles, fresh and dried, rice and wheat and buckwheat. Bulk Asian veggies. Everything is there to make Asian meals at home. And if you want food because youve shopped so much theres a deli with lots of cooked yummy food from spicy cat fish to curries to desserts. And you can sit there and eat in or take out. You cant go wrong shopping here. And if youre an out of towner looking for a cool experience visit LAX C. You will have great stories and cool things to bring home.

LAX-C is to Chinatown what Costco is to the rest of the country, with two main differences:The good: Theres no membership and you dont pay sales taxThe bad: There arent sample stations everywhere giving away free foodMy wife and I discovered this Thai warehouse store a few years ago and have been regular customers ever since. We often go for the same items: large jugs of soy sauce, olive oil and sesame oil, maraschino cherries for my Manhattans, olives for my martinis and dried Japanese chili peppers. Ill use the peppers to give you an idea of the savings available here. In the supermarket, a small bag of these with the capacity of maybe one of the smallest Ziplock bags costs about $3. Here, I get a bag of the same peppers the size of a suitcase (about 100 times as much or more) for $9.Youll find everything a restaurant or home kitchen/dining room would ever need here, but nearly all of it is made in China, so if you have a problem with that, go to Costco. Sure, just about everything in Costco is also from China, but it isnt quite as obvious. In addition to cookware, flatware, dishes of every description, dried and canned foods and large jugs of most of the common condiments, you will also find a wide variety of produce, a fish market and a vast freezer section with every imaginable meat and seafood. Sometimes we just roam around and read the labels to be amazed at all the things we havent eaten yet.The main drawback of this store is that its huge and items are sort of jumbled together in what often feels like a haphazard way. There is organization here, but maybe not what youre used to. Also, some of the shelves are rather high, so if youre petite take a tall friend or spouse--or good jumping shoes--with you. Maybe a stepladder would come in handy. You have to dodge the occasional forklift--and the drivers are always in a hurry--but theres ample parking, the store is never crowded, checkout is usually pretty quick and the employees are rather helpful, and speak English fluently. I wouldnt eat anything that has spilled onto the floor, but otherwise I strongly recommend this market to anyone who enjoys cooking, especially if you have exotic tastes.

It was so tender and fresh, felt much better than dried noodles. Never seen these fresh Vietnamese noodles anywhere else. Plus they had all kinds of shapes and sizes of rice noodles and rice wrappers at a very good price. However, their fresh produce selection was rather limited and in a huge bulk.***Keep in mind that there’s $20 minimum requirement for credit card/debit card payment.*** 3% Charge for credit card.

It was exactly what Id expect from a wholesale grocery and food supplier. Lots of variety from bulk vegetables to individually-sold spices, curries, and sauces to restaurant-grade cooking utensils and instruments. If doing normal household grocery shopping, there may be a bit of a wait with no express lanes at checkout, though I was lucky to have gone early, an hour after opening. This place is a restaurant supplier, and as such many shoppers utilize the very same flat carts one would find at Home Depot. That said, one can find almost anything here. Will definitely be coming back!

The Thai communitys answer to Costco. Need 2 lbs of kaffir lime leaves? No problem. Also, the cafeteria serves the best and most authentic Thai food for many miles. But most interestingly, there is a deli counter of Thai food thats sooooo good. My husband and I shared a two items rish dish of green curry and chicken mint leaf. Thai Costco indeed! Especially the part where they check your receipt before you leave the premises! Haha...This place is great for restaurant owners since most of the items are in bulk. However, they do have items they sell individually as well. Theres plenty of dry and refrigerated ingredients. The fresh seafood and produce sections were pretty small.I came here to buy all the ingredients to make Pad Thai and was able to get everything I need for less than $10. Its the only place that I know of in LA where you can get fresh pad thai noodles and its only about $1 for a 1 lb package. They also have a small hot food section that I have yet to try. Smells good - too bad I already had lunch. Ill save it for my next trip.Cash only... unless you want to pay 3% to use plastic. No grocery bags!

Great place to get South East Asian groceries. I was able to get lemongrass, kangkung, lady fingers, Thai chillies, Thai eggplants, galangal, pandan leaves, coconut cream and many other vegetables and spices not easily found in other markets. The downside is that many of the packaged products have no expiry dates on them. Most of them are old and dirty. I saw that some cans have expiry dates that were partly scratched off and some have dates that have partly faded away. There were even bottles of fish sauce that had mold growing inside. Be careful buying these products, always check for expiry dates and inspect bottled items for contamination.
