I am currently moving to a new place and needed all new furniture. I went into Sit and Sleep and had the WORST experience. They showed me a mattress (without telling me the price) that was $800 over the budget I had given them. Of course I fell in love with this high end mattress and nothing else they had in my budget compared. There fix was to just keep telling me to finance it which I had repeatedly told them I do NOT want to do. So after leaving this unfortunate experience I headed over to the 101 S. Western LA Mattress location. I was greeted with a big smile and hello from Andrew. I told him what had just happened at Sit and Sleep and he looked at me and said, Dont worry, Ive got you. And boy did he! Andrew sold me one of the most comfortable mattress and gave me what felt like a family deal. I am big believer in good business practices and Andrew exemplifies that and then some. I came because I wanted to buy a bed for my new place. I called them to see if I could please buy a bed even though they had a flier in the front saying that they were in lunch. I was in lunch so I had about 40 min to go buy the bed. I called their number and some guy said that they were open, I told him if I could see the bed I wanted and if he could please help me. He thought I was doing a prank or something and hung up on me. I was excited to buy the bed but the customer service brought my hopes down.

My roof had a leak that dripped on to my bed so I had to replace it. I looked everywhere from Costco to Mattress King, Sit n Sleep and some mattress stores on Pico and in Santa Monica. I ended up at LA Mattress at 201 S Western in Los Angeles and Tracy was amazing, he not only spent time with me asking me questions and getting to know me but he also called and looked around to find the best deal for me. I cant say enough good things about him and his store. There are 2 LA mattress stores make sure you go to his, he is a miracle worker!

This place is GREAT! We needed a high quality Lifetime Keeper mattress, box, rails, headboard and same day delivery for our 20 year old son moving into first LA apartment. Tracy at this store is very knowledgeable and kind and we were in and out in less than one hour and for only $100 to delivery team, all was delivered and set up efficiently up stairs to 2nd floor within the next hour. I walked over to LA Mattress today and was incredibly happy with the help I got choosing a mattress. Tracy helped me test out several mattresses and get a feel for the slight differences between each. He was very knowledgeable and I never felt any pressure to make a purchase. After I landed on a mattress I was really happy with, I mentioned that my dad was interested in adjustable beds. Since they had different adjustable bed models in the store, I tried several out, and ended up getting one. Went here on a Friday night and just did not disappoint! Carlos was beyond helpful and just very understanding. He explained our options very thoroughly and provided some great information. Luckily, Ive already done my extensive research to be prepared but Carlos really delivered! He ensured we received the help we needed and was very patient throughout the process. The delivery was also outstanding! They were able to deliver the mattress the following day, which was such a big help since its not easy to take some time off work just to be home on a weekday. When the delivery guys came, they were very courteous and just efficient! Removed our old mattress and place the new one in the frame in a matter of few minutes. They were literally in and out of the house that quick. The biggest take away from this was how affordable the mattresses they offer and just willing to work with your budget. Customer service is also very important to us and these guys just went above and beyond. Thank you, Carlos and the delivery guys! Absolutely amazing service, Carlos was beyond exceptional when we came into the store. Often times when you walk into any store the merchants hound you about promos and deals and as we walked in he offered his expertise while giving us the perfect amount of space to shop and look at things at our pace. Once we needed some help he was there with factual supportive information on the various types of mattresses that they had in store. He didn’t push us towards more expensive items but rather worked within our budget and told us what he thinks would work for us.In the end we decided to purchase a mattress from Carlos and without asking he added on a discount and gave us some free memory foam pillows and Mattress cover. I went to five mattress stores. Carlos offered me an excellent value on a mattress and worked with me to set up a safe and comfortable lay away plan, and threw in some nice bonus items.UPDATE: Ive updated this to two stars, sadly. Carlos misled me. He told me what the return policy was when I ordered the mattress. I am very careful with sizable purchases and was looking three other places. I would not have purchased from him if he hadnt told me there was a return policy of 10% restocking fee - not replace, a straight return with a restocking fee. When I got the mattress, it was shorter than anticipated, and it started to sag pretty quickly. I asked to return it within a few weeks. he then told me there were no returns allowed. after some back and forth, they offered to take it back for a 40% restocking fee - which is just absurd. so I am stuck with a mattress I am not satisfied with while I save up to buy another one. bummer.

Andrew was super great! I just moved to the LA and was picking out my first big girl mattress. He was very helpful and helped me pick out the right mattress, which ended up being a memory foam one! Even better he gave me a discount, the mattress protector is included and I have 120 days to exchange the mattress if it turns out its not right for me. The delivery guys were great too! They came right at the beginning of the delivery window (which is amazing compared to some of the experiences Ive had with other companies cough Sit n Sleep cough) and set up my bed in no time.

Carlos was very friendly and he gave me a deal so good that I couldn’t believe it. In fact, I think I asked him approximately three times if he was serious about the deal he was offering me. The last time I asked him he said, “I’m not going to back on the deal.” Out of all the purchases that I have ever made at store this has to be the most satisfying experience.
