Amazing authentic cheese spot. My first time here and I cannot get enough. I was lucky enough to meet the owner who was just so friendly and helpful. I recommend the grilled cheese worth every penny!!!

Ive been coming to Say Cheese for about 5-6 years now. Hands down one of the best hidden gems in the neighborhood. Wonderful local business, amazing sandwiches and amazing products.

Say Cheese is truly a neighborhood - and Los Angeles - treasure. Glenn and his staff not only stock excellent cheese, wines, and other delectable discoveries, but his cafe side also produces excellent meals. One of my favorites, the Le Parisian sandwich, will make you crave another on a random Tuesday. Order a cheeseboard, stock up for everyday, and stop in for some food. Silver Lake and the surrounding neighborhoods are so lucky to have a little slice of Europe at their beck and call.

One of my favorite cheese shops in LA. Specialty selection, highly curated and attentively managed. Not as big as Milkfarm or the Beverly Hills cheese shop, but really delicious and unusual. The owner also creates custom made cheese plates. 😋

Having shopped here for years, Say Cheese is an eastside treasure for cheeses, other wonderful goodies and a small selection of well priced wines. If owner Glenn is there, you will be in expert, gracious hands. Ask for samples and let him guide you to the cheese you want. Dont be surprised if you come in looking for one cheese and walk out with three.

My husband and I LOVE this place. We give provide the number of guests we are expecting and the owner sends us home with EVERYTHING we need -- all we have to do is plate it!

Amazing Cheese shop, and the cafe has delicious sandwiches. My favorite is the Griffith Park sandwich which comes with turkey, pepper jack cheese, tomato, alfalfa sprouts & avocado on rosemary bread. So delicious. I also ordered a cheese basket as a gift and Glenn was very nice and did an amazing job designing it. I will definitely be back for lunch and for another gift basket. Amazing place, hands down five out of five.

I love this place.Now, with COVID, it’s hard to cheese shop like we all want to: trying samples for 20 minutes until our tongue can now longer decipher chèvre from humboldt fog. It simply can’t happen now. So, the next best thing? Trusting a good cheese monger! Glenn, the owner, knows his stuff. But so do all of his employees. They are always getting fresh, dynamite cheese shipped in. Go here. Ask questions. Be curious. And enjoy.

Truly adored this little place! Such a quiet and peaceful nook with super flavorful options! The safe is also super warm and lovely. Highly recommend the cucumber Basil salad!

The service was awesome. The staff very friendly, and attentive. They have a great selection of cheese. You must try the pineapple brie.....Its DIVINE! Ordered lunch and food was delicious. Bought chocolates w/caramel and sea salt, and black truffle potato chips.........So GOOD!!!! Im definitely coming back.

The best cheeses EVER!!!! Ordered a cheese and meat platter for 20 people for Christmas. I left it up to then to choose the cheeses and meats. OMG the platters were Huge!!! I ended taking it to TWO parties and there was some leftover beautiful presentation. Also their cafe is great I had one if their sandwiches on menu with salad. I died and went to heaven. It was warm crispy and the cheese with the meat was so delicious. Even the little things like the balsamic vinegar is so different in a wonderful fabulous knocked out of my boots wow

They have pick up parking in front. one person in the shop at a time. I called ahead so my order was ready to pick up.

Go for the jalapeño cheddar or the zebra. Better yet mix them together and get a unique flavor fusion. I can plush off a big bag of this popcorn no problem but then feel real guilty right after about the calories and sodium.

Say Cheese is a local staple. Glen is always so helpful and knows so much about his product. Hes always willing to give out tasty samples, and the cheese selection is INCREDIBLE. He makes it impossible to buy cheese anywhere else.

The best sandwiches is Los Angles, hands down. Excellent Charcuterie and GREAT espresso, as well. Glen, the owner, is also a magnificent man and one of absolute nicest guys in Silver Lake. It will not disappoint!

I used to live a few blocks from Say Cheese and hadnt been in for over a decade as we moved far away. It had once been my favorite place for delicacies of all kinds. When I found myself driving by last night I ran in and am not ashamed to say I was moved to tears by the warmth of its owner Glen, the amazingly beautiful array of Holiday fare, the rare and insanely delicious chocolates handpicked and packaged for gift giving, teeny green bottles of truffle oil, outrageously flavorful coffee, too many things to recount... And of course The Cheeses. I had forgotten how much I adore Say Cheese and Glen. He knows All about his specialties and is so gracious to his customers, sharing ideas, recipes, history...one of the most charming and humble men youll ever have the pleasure of meeting. This is one place where I cant resist buying gifts for myself, my husband, our friends and can always find a treasure in that shop no matter what I have to spend.

The cheese selection is extensive & carefully curated. The owner, Glenn, is knowledgeable, friendly and will go out of his way to make sure the customer leaves happy. Also, the sandwiches & coffee rock! Beautiful store!

This place is a treasure. Its so nice to have options outside of the big chain stores. The staff are very courteous and the owner, Glenn, is fantastic. If you dont know about cheeses they will be happy to let you sample and find something that will be perfect for you.

Excellent cheese shop in a cute area of Silverlake neighborhood and probably the best in town of all the cheese places Ive visited. This is where to get your brie and gruyere. With lots of choices you really cant go wrong. You meet the owner who btw is friendly, patient, knowledgeable and helpful. Ask for samples too he is very accommodating for that as well. Definitely a must stop for all your cheese platter needs, you wont be disappointed!

I have had the pleasure of being able to come to Say Cheese for over 10 years. The cheese is incredible. I come here mostly for brunch and lunch at least 3 - 4 times a month. The ingredients that are used in the many salads, sandwiches, and other menu options are vastly superior to many of the fine restaurants in the Los Angeles area. My menu favorites are: La Vie en Rose salad, the Vegetarian cold sandwich, and the Le Parisien hot sandwich. Also, many people, like myself come here for the coffees as well. Say Cheese is located next to TJs in Silverlake.

Really nice sandwich and cheese café, pricy but worth it. My Love really liked the almost vegan. Good stuff.

Its good. its really good. but its just way too damn expensive. i live 2 blocks away and id be in here every f-ing week if they lowered the prices by, maybe 3 dollars. there is no reason a sandwich should cost 14 dollars.that said, the barcelona sanwich is amazing. the bread, the manchego, the jamon serrano..... drooooool. i love spanish meats and cheeses. however, i could buy my own ingredients at tjs and make it at home. so i think i will from now on. and the only reason i ever ate from here is because my boss paid.
