Incredible caviar and even more incredible customer service. I purchased the Kaluga Hybrid Reserve and it is delicious. I’ve tried it on its own and with creme fraiche and a potato chip. It really shines on its own! Very creamy, little briny and a great ocean finish. I would recommend this caviar to anyone who loves good caviar.They answered all of my questions in an expeditious manner. Very transparent as to where they source their product. Great customer service makes a great product even better.Shipping was a breeze. Product arrived when it was supposed to. It was cold and the fresh sticker still indicated it to be so.I don’t see a reason to go anywhere else for my caviar. Great price, great customer service, incredible product. I’m a caviar guy. I use just about any excuse to buy a tin or two... or, three! So, when the offer for a tasting bundle presented itself, I jumped. We were closing on the sale of our Scottsdale townhouse, celebrating her birthday and generally in the mood for a party. The caviar was truly a hit. Because there was a “tin snafu” we received 6 smaller tins instead of three larger ones and it made for two parties not one: perfect. While I enjoyed the variety, I loved the classic best.

We purchased this caviar for a cocktail party we were hosting. It was delicious- served with creme fraiche, egg and onion. It was a huge hit at the party; very well received. Many party guests have asked where I found it. The customer service was also very good; quite helpful with my questions. Shipping was fast and also very impressively packaged for safety.

Caviar isnt for everyone. Many Americans are food illiterate and weirded out by the idea of fish eggs. Not to mention that a serving for two costs roughly the same amount as a solid night out on the town. But for those who dont mind the price and enjoy finer delicacy, its a delicious treat. I could put caviar on literally anything (if you dont put it on your pizza you are missing out). So on to the actual review, Imperia makes a very solid caviar! The flavor is extremely balanced. Even better is the price. You might not get the selection and prestige of brands like Calvisius or Petrossian (Imperia is new and offers only two varietals), but I think the quality and price point make it an extremely appealing option for not only the committed and casual caviar eaters, but also those who might have been reluctant to take the plunge before.

Imperia Caviar is a supreme Caviar. My favorite is the Royal Ossetra, each bite is more exquisite than the 1st. It starts off slightly salty then gets more buttery and savory with every spoonful afterwards. I literally have to close my eyes to slowly savor the the texture to flavor combination that surrounds my tastebuds. Its truly an experience with each bite, or should I say with each savor. I liked the free tins offer so you can try it….. so we did and lived to tell….I will NEVER order from petrossian caviar again.Imperia caviar delivered FRESH caviar, not one egg was crushed there was no liquid, nothing congealed I was impressed…. I actually liked both the Kaluga and Osetra but I preferred the Osetra because of the sea salt briny taste this was moderately salty often the Osetra I have tried is too salty not the case with Imperia.We picked up French Bellinis at Whole Foods and had this with Creme fraiche, diced onions eggs, capers, chives and 🍾 champagne.Bravo to this company for delivery of quality caviar. Even though the “dot” was green, indicating it was in good condition, you offered to replace it. In addition, I was called and instructed how to properly store it. It’s beyond delicious. It’s a tsunami of umami, it’s a coterie of heavenly angels dancing gleefully on my tongue. Caviar is briny, creamy, and has a smooth and slightly gelatinous texture. I loved it! Imperia brand caviar might be the most extraordinary and luxurious delicacy I have ever eaten! 3.5 ounces wasn’t enough, I ate the contents of the entire tin in less than an hour. I even made creme fraiche to go with it. I received my caviar the day after I ordered it which is amazing in and of itself. I felt like a million bucks after I was finished eating my caviar. There’s just nothing else like it in this world!

They dont even own any of the farms they claim to own. They are simply repackagers. I have reported them to the FTC for misleading advertising

However, 95% of its caviar comes from China - a country with literally no health and safety when it comes to food - let alone seafood. You are putting yourself at risk if you buy off them. They also dont own any of the farms they claim to own. I have complained to the FTC and they are investigating the companys false claims. Conclusion: PAY MORE AND DONT GET FAKE CAVIAR FROM CHINA

Ordering and delivery were good, but the quality of the product was fair, at best… gooey, no “pop” and lacking in flavor (and nothing like the pictures on their websites). I have been looking at the Emperia website for several months and registered with them to receive emails updates. I finally placed an order with Emperia. Again… ordering and delivery was good, but the quality… exceeded my expectations! The eggs were firm, fresh and NO jelly like substance surrounding the eggs. The flavor… a hint of saltiness, a little nutty tasting and they “popped when rolling along my tongue (like they are supposed to!!!). A great experience. I will be ordering again from Emperia. Well it was our first time eating this caviar brand. We chose the Kaluga Hybird as we had experience with another company which theirs was pretty good. However, upon tasting this caviar from Imperia you could taste the complete differnce of the eggs. Rich and smooth with a little taste of the sea. They melted in your mouth. We have had caviar in Ukraine, Russia and here and to date this is by far the best one we have tried. You cant go wrong with this Kaluga hybird. We will definitely continue to buy this brand and support this company. The delivery was fast and everything arrived with no problems. Customer service is outstanding.
