This is legit one of my favorite places to shop for snacks and groceries. It has a great variety of Asian products with the majority being Korean. Im honestly a bit shook with the fruits/veggie prices and the outstanding quality of them (no bruising/fresh.) The meat/seafood selection is amazing too with low prices. dont get me started on the variety of ramen brands and flavors, good god I couldnt decide, had to get 1 of almost everything. I honestly recommend you coming here and buying a snack or two just to have an excuse to check the place out. Live a little and get out of your comfort zone by trying something new from this place. 10/10
Its authentic Korean and Asian grocery market. One thing I love here is their sea food. Its fresh and reasonable price. And they have really nice asian pears that I love the most
Such a wonderful market! It is my favorite of the several H Marts I have checked out. It is in a convenient location and they validate parking, which is helpful. I get so many of my favorite goodies there (tea, boba, banana milk, soju, etc.). They have a large selection of frozen and fresh products and the meat and produce always look fresh and amazing.
Clean, well organized, specious parking, its inside the mall called Madang(:means play ground or front yard), located down to basement. Lotta choices of korean Ramen, So Fresh vegetables and fish, 🍖 meat. Always sanitized, keeping social distancing. In this place you will see different store..daiso, Paris baguette bakery, book store, even movie theater on top floor etc..and dont forget validation.
One of my favorite grocery ships. They have a great selection of both frozen foods and fresh vegetables in a small place. Their seafood selection is large, and I love getting the fresh seaweed rolls and stir-fried fish cakes.
My mother told me about very unpleasant experiences with rude employees there. Their rudeness must be down from their employer. Zion market is a way better, she said. So I told her simply not to shop there and go to Zion market. I guess thats ok by many people shopping there.
Good . Very respectful. Wrong hair cut for me. They couldnt fix it, so they have me back the cost of the haircut. I would recommend this hair salon for their work and fairness
This is a well-known dog-friendly establishment! On Monday afternoon, I bought a pet from this location. One of my favorite colleagues is the one who insists on their pet always being handled with care and compassion. As a satisfied client, I have no reservations about buying it. Finally, I had no regrets because the pets I purchased were so sweet and welcoming.
Very clean store. The selection of seasonal produce and kimchi are awesome. I tried a few new items. Got some snacks too. There were some freshly made kimchi and pork dumplings...new items for me...they were delicious 😋
Very nice clean Korean market with all the Korean and Asian food. Parking is a great plus.
I love this place. It took me back to my time in Korea. Its very clean with very helpful people. The prices are competitive for all of the things that I miss having. I tried to control myself but there are too many choices.
Can’t go wrong wit hmart!
I love this mart!! They have the Korean food ingredients that you need. And with this pandemic, they keep the market clean and sanitized the area that people in and out, they will give you plastic gloves when you come inside the markets. Very nice!! 너무좋아요
Good supermarket although more expensive than one in Galleria Market or Nijiya Market. If you go here look for a deals you might find some good bargain.Last time I bought 2 packs of my favorite Honey Butter Chips for $3.The other thing that I really liked is Vegetable Chips 5oz for $4.The also have a great selection of fruits, vegetables and roots.Overall it’s a nice little grocery store with very extensive selection for such a small supermarket.
Cool market plaza with a lot of interesting shops and food options
Its pretty cool and has some unique products that you wouldnt find anywhere else.
Has an eclectic mix of goodies for different shoppers. Glad to see its coming back to life.
Beware! Your car will get locked in the garage after 9:00. We ate upstairs, asked about parking. They said they would validate for the garage. When we came out at 9:15 we could not exit the garage, despite paying $18. We trying to get someones attention, offering to pay an exit fee but the employees in the H Mart ignored us and a security officer said there was nothing he could do and we had to wait until the morning. There were a million signs throughout the garage, none indicated that your car would be held captive after 9:00
Amazing variety of Asian foods! Meats, seafood and veg is so fresh! Prices are surprisingly low! So many noodles! Heaven!😍💕
Stopped in during our short stay in LA. Plenty of parking, and the store was bright and clean. Huge selection of foods, fresh veggies and fruits. We stopped in mainly to get snacks and fruit.
Hands down the best place to buy all of your Asian cooking needs, plus Daiso the Japanese Dollar Store! Theres also the K-pop music store and a few restaurants.
Nice plaza with many stores, next to H-mart
I wish I could give a 5 star review but one of the workers in the kpop music store made me and my wife feel very uncomfortable. She followed us and keep staring at us, also every one who came in had shopping bags from other stores in the plaza yet we were the only ones asked to put our bags at the store entrance. It was so Humiliating. All the other stores were amazing.
H Mart is not a good market and H mart was not what I thought it would be. I give H-mart a C-.
Its not that big compared to suburban H Marts but it has tons of stuff. Great vegetable selection. Ive gotten pans here and a huge dumpling steamer.
Cashier is not good... rude
Dont go to Daiso, that place sucks. I tried to buy 45$ worth of junk and they would not except my hundred dolla bill. I must buy 80$ worth to except. Waist of time
Well stocked grocery store with so many options of asian vegetables, meat, and foods!
Love the H-Mart❣️ Have been going for years now. Small grocery store but sweet workers and good selection make it an old standby that I bring friends to. One of the few stores that carries Goreng noodles which are my fave. My friend and I make a monthly trip for groceries during these trying times. But every one wears masks, they actually seem to keep things cleaner than some of the bigger chains I go to as well. The plaza also has some nice gems there to do some shopping.
Very nice place, lots of cute stuff
Lots of Asian restaurants stores and when parking make sure to get you parking ticket validate. Also the Paris bakery is 🔥🔥 delicious pastries
One of the nice grocery store for Asian-American in LAs K -town
Very clean and organized Korean market. We go here for our Korean meats when we have Korean BBQ nights. Totally recommend it.
Very cheap prepared food
Its a nice spot to grab a quick bite or a nice cup of coffee. Check out the 1.50 lots of goodies in there.
A new friend suggested this place for a first meeting, first i-coffee, and then at the Korean restaurant in the open-air plaza. It was an uplifting, positive, friendly and culturally diverse Korean Marketplace. There was a buzz of activity around the Kpop music shop, the outdoor coffee place, and the little shops that covered the three stories of the plaza. The coffee shop was too crowded for my comfort considering the pandemic, but the restaurant provided ample space between tables for me to feel comfortable enough to have my first restaurant meal since the pandemic started. Its hard to be objective, because the company I was in with so deeply engaging, but I found the environment to be conducive to happiness, joy, and all at an amazingly affordable price! I highly recommend exploring the Madang Plaza!!!!
Love this place. I really craved kimchi and this was the closest place in my recommendations. Since then I havent stopped coming to this place.
The WORST customer service I’ve ever been through. The cashier scanned an item too many times and when she kept counting over and over, I said it’s fine just take it out. Once finished, she told someone to come recount everything. It took 20 mins extra for the employee to recount everything! Once he did it twice through and found it to be right on the receipt, he called over another employee to recount again but checking things off on the receipt. At the end EVERYTHING WAS THERE AND NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE RECEIPT! They through everything messy back into the cart and said okay and just left without saying sorry and doing it in front of the store where everyone can judge me while I stood there. There was no apology or anything along with keeping me an extra 30 mins to find nothing was wrong. When I wanted to file a complaint, they said that they don’t do that here.I am not sure how you can treat customers so poorly and be completely okay with it. Absolutely ridiculous!
Great shopping center with lots of shops and theater.
Nice area to get fancy
Friendly and helpful service. Menu is Massive. After we finally decided the food came out in like 4 minutes. It was so fast, which was great because we had stuff to do and di
Taste amazing and the staffs are so friendly. The place really has such a good vibe. Tom-yum-kung is my favourite. And Thai tea is so refreshing.
They have alot of good stuff but overpriced
Fantastic Fantastic supermarket. Walking into HMart was a little daunting. Parking was exit only on one side then the street was blocked off for construction on the other so it was a little difficult to find the parking structure until the HMart van popped up and we followed and found the entrance to the underground lot.Entering the store it is like entering any ethnic market and getting the initial shock that makes you want to turn and leave. Thankfully unlike other ethnic markets everything is labeled similar to a Supermarket so you can find your way.I had a clear plan to do at home Korean BBQ and the plan was to grab everything I liked from the restaurants in the store. To those who want to do KBBQ at home this place has everything you need. Marinated meats that were amazing. Meat that was sliced thin and great quality. The produce was fresh. Employees were extremely helpful when I showed a picture of ssamjang they showed me the aisle and what brand they recommended. The banchan and vegetables sides were fresh and tasty. The stove and grill that were sold in the kitchen tools department cooked the meat great. All in all I had a great experience with the meat quality and the quality of all the sides
Great place for Korean food and grocery.
Boba, Daiso, supermarket, somisomi. Has pretty much anything for a nice afternoon.
Best priced seafood around ✔️
They give out sanitizer and vinyl gloves at the entrance of the market. All workers are wearing masks, too. It is clean with fresh summer fruits and vegetables on sale.
Beautiful shopping experience! Very clean. Extensive seafood and meat selection. Excellent prices.
I dont write yelp review but cant help to shout out for this one! This is the best hole in the wall ramen thus far. The broth is not salty at all. Our server, Braxton is so friendly and personable. They are so generous with chashu (pork belly). It has a pleasant, soothing ambience. We cant wait to come back with my foodie buddies. My husband is the happiest because its close to home.
This place is just fantastic. The atmosphere and especially the food and wait staff. I can always trust this place.
You can find good fish and seafood at good prices. There are plenty of other types of food that you dont see in others supermarket. I really like to go buy here. 👌
I love HMart! I always go for interesting ramen, candy, and frozen goods you can’t get anywhere else. I buy dumplings or food like it and put it in my air fryer :)
Needs more, better ready-made food
Prejudiced & Very Rude!!!!! I went in to shop for someone, layout was good, but allot of items were out of stock. I asked for assistance to help me find a couple of items that I had no idea. The clerk was a little helpful with one item but then said she had to leave so she could bag groceries. While in the produce department I asked an older gentleman that was arranging fruit where were the loose bunches of carrots ( I showed him a picture, was clearly understandable, he yelled at me I don’t speak English. I politely took my leave. Walked around the store collected a couple of more items, got in a jam again then I asked the cashier in which she was 1 of 4 could I have a little assistance, she said “no they may need me here to check our customers”. I told her I was picking up some items for someone and they were/is a cus as well I just needed a little assistance...she refused. So many excuses but no help!!!!! Had some items I liked, but that store would be the last to MO resort. Very disappointing!!!
I love it here. I typically have gatherings in my backyard. They make it very easy for me to do so. They have great alcohol choices at super low prices. I love their cut cheese selection. And I can never forget fresh flowers for my tables!
Sells a lot of expired products, and the fruits and vegetables are not fresh at all... I called to tell them that the products that I bought were all past the expiration date (by a whole MONTH) and all they said was we will let you return them. like first off what? why would I return an expired product to you, are you going to re-sell them or something lol and also they never seemed apologetic and seemed to be aware that they were selling expired products on their shelves as they just seemed very calm and casually asked if i wanted to return them for store credit.. and I repeat STORE CREDIT, lmao I dont want to shop at your place or your chain ever again.
Very nice, very friendly.
Clean, organized, and thorough Covid Safety measure.
Stopped in for one drink (the Love Letter) and was glad I did. Very low-key, very dark (shades pulled, no outside light allowed), friendly bar staff. Not the most obvious place for a cocktail bar, but I plan to hit it up again.
If you need asian grocery fare (and definitely Korean specific), this is the best place to go in any locale. The first thing we do is look for an h mart whenever were in a new city. Parking was convenient. The food is decently priced for imported to highly sought after goods (especially these days due to the Kdrama and Kpop hype). You really cant beat the place. And its incredibly fresh and hygienic! Theres not much wrong with the place! Oh, and if you need freshly made korean side dishes, this is DEFINITELY the spot to hit .
Hidden gem. Saved me throughout the pandemic.
Some good variety and types of food here, not too expensive so i was very happy with that. Theres frozen food, cooked and packaged food. I liked coming to shop here and ill keep coming back every once in a while when I’m craving something from this place.
This is our local market in Koreatown. It has the best prices on produce and tofu. The snacks, teas, Korean pancakes and spring rolls are delicious and affordable. Even the food cooked in the store is tasty! Definitely a great grocery store in the heart of Koreatown. Free validation for parking also.
Google wants me to rate this place. Well, I didnt go here I was just parked next to it, but it smelled great!
First time visiting this store. Parking was a little difficult, valet parked for $5 which is convenient as you can load your car right at the door.Store very neat, laid out very orderly, large selection. Pricing is higher than expected which I guess is the trade off.As youre there already, in the same building is a $1.50 Store, Bakery, cafe shops and a movie theater.
Very nice Korean market, great deals and a variety of Korean foods. Highly recommend visiting. There is parking at the location. I’d suggest bringing a reusable bag for your purchases. 😊👍
The worst store ever ! They don’t display prices properly and arrived in the parking I realized it and return my item right away but they refuse to take it back. There’s no reasons while I literally didn’t even leave the parking yet
Smells bad and not clean at all. By far the worst Hmart in California. Too bad parking is a disaster too.
Fast lines during the COVID pandemic, great selection of products, ample parking
Lots of great affordable options. Big fan of the samples they have. Not a ton of selection for non-Korean cultures but I suppose thats to be expected. Parking is easy, food is fresh and good quality.
Very nice grocery store. Very clean and organized. The meat and produce sections were filled with beautiful delicious looking food, and it was very easy to find everything I was looking for.
H Mart is literally the only place I buy rice, snacks and meat. ITS SO GOOD!!!
It has a ton of unique food and personal items! I always go here for the high quality meats, variety of veggies and hair and skin care products for an affordable price!
I had a wonderful time here with a few friends. The presentations of the different dishes was wonderful. However, in my opinion, the portions were small
Other than the grocery store and daiso, nothing else.
A nice, well organized market that stocks Korean (and other Asian) groceries. I was able to get Chinese food items that the other Korean markets dont carry. Its also adjacent to the Metro Purple Line. If I had to give one tip, I highly recommend the freshly steamed kimchi dumplings. Theyre delicious.
Out of all the markets, only place where the lines seem to be moving. The prices are not unreasonable so if you need to stock up, I would recommend going here.
Really tasty food in the court. Nice variety of 튀김 (Fried Foods), even 오징어튀김 (Fried Squid)!! So 맛있어요 (delicious)! Haha Combine it with the rice cakes and you got a meal. Miss my time in the Korean night markets, and inexpensive restaurants. But hey, this is as close as it gets. Oh and they have various Korean products, more than the other H-Mart. Take my love, H-Mart, for I am your fan forever. HahaI got to add the points! You can get a card here to be rewarded for your loyal shopping.ヾ(≧▽≦*)o Its free!
Lots of good Asian (Korean and Japanese) products, fresh produce and ample (validated) parking.
All the vegetables displayed was fresh and affordable price. The fruits well organize by their staff. Every time that i need some recipe just come here to buy some needs.
Very organized, clean and safe (covid-19.)
Im so damned stoked to have found this spot. Everything I ever wanted from an Asian grocery store and loads more on top I never knew I wanted. I cant wait to go back.
Well, its no secret, the guys at H Mart Los Angeles are the nicest. They really care about their customers (and their customers dogs, always gives mine a treat). 4 stars just cause I think theyre stars!...food selection aint bad either!
I cant say much for groceries - I dont cook much. Ive purchased some pricey blueberries and grapes here, which was totally worth it because I felt superior while eating them. Like I could really do some clean living. Then I left the store, the bubble burst, and reminded myself that I needed to go shop for fruit at Costco instead. I do like the option that Whole Foods provides. If I ever decide to go organic, eat healthier and live a better lifestyle, Id be all up in this WFM. Meanwhile, all I really do is get the Sonora chicken salad sandwich when I do come here. I recently tried their strawberry cake, and was pretty surprised by how good it was.
Good selection of Korean and other Asian groceries. Produce is nice and fresh but a little expensive. The prepared foods in the back are delicious.
Excellent selection of meat, seafood and produce for low price.
