I bought a gray leather couch from RH and had it delivered last October. After 1-2 months it started splotching. I emailed customer service no response. I came into the store I bought it from in January to show pictures. I was super nice about it, they said they would get back to me, nothing. I called 2 weeks ago to talk to a manager and she said she would follow up and get back to me. Haven’t heard from her. I paid 8-9k for this couch and it looks absolutely hideous, no fault of my own and I can’t get anyone to care enough or have the decency to try to make it right. What an absolute joke.
I ordered a bunk bed from RH about 10 weeks ago. It arrived damaged. The delivery team told me RH would be on contact with a replacement delivery. No such thing happened. I then had to reach out and they had no idea I had refused delivery and continued to question me about what had happened. Finally they said they would send me a new one (keep in mind I have already been charged for this item that I didnt have). They told me earliest shipping was 4 weeks away..finally I get notification my item is ready to ship, my daughter is so excited - this is her first big girl bed. It arrives with sploches of grey paint all over one side of the bed. Frustrated in receiving another damaged item I chatted the RH team asking for a reimbursement. Customer service refused to reimburse me the $200 I paid to ship the item here. You would think they would inspect their items before shipping them seeing that we are paying so much money for them. I am very unhappy with my experience with the company.
Cheap rough in hardware for very expensive tub and shower fixtures!!, save your money, and do your research. The rough in valve set I got, has no way to secure into wall, relying on plumbing straps, to secure main body,, valve to diverter had small leak as well, what do you want for $800!! Ive placed many rough in boxes, and so far this is the cheapest,
The stuff here is patient and knowledgeable. O came a day towards their closing time, but they were very patient and kept saying I dont need to hurry. A good selection of furniture and decorations. High recommended.
I was very disappointed that Restoration Hardware is providing no COVID-19 relief for loyal customers. Almost every company I know of has extended loyalty programs during these difficult times. However, RH refuses to help by extending their memberships due to COVID-19. I would encourage everyone to shop at more socially responsible companies.
Furniture here is made well with good material. Display items are limited and certainly give the impression that their items are on the large and extra large size. Items from sofa to wall mirrors. Plenty of help in the store when we went there, did make us feel uncomfortable while we looked around.
Among all the restoration hardwares that I have been to, this may be the smallest and least inviting one. There are about 8 room demos that show bedroom and living room furniture. The stores does have a rather good selection of lighting options though. I found that the employees were too quick to try to make sales and not interested in helping me do more than swipe my credit card.
You cant go wrong with Restoration Hardware. Such sweet pieces that will never go out of style.
This store doesnt carry a variety of items of each category. If you want to choose from a big selection, this store wont accommodate your purpose. If you are looking for random items, you may find something good here.
Dog friendly. They make customized furniture
I bought a Belgian Track Arm Slipcovered sofa on March 29, 2017. It was delivered to my apt in early April. The delivery people were awesome. They very carefully moved sofa and unwrapped the packaging and took with them. I liked the linen, but paid the extra money for the Perennials fabric because it is easier to spot clean if stained. After all this is their outdoor fabric of choice. They told me it can have a brushed appearance with wear. Within 2 weeks of delivery it wasnt a brushed appearance, but pilling on every surface that is touched when sitting on a sofa. The bottom cushion was the worst! I took pictures and went to the store in Los Gatos. They told me someone would call me, because the person in charge of returns wasnt in that day. So I got a call the next day and was told this is normal wear and tear! The couch was a month old at this point. There are only 2 people that live in my apartment. This was not normal wear and tear. It is cheap fabric! The options I was offered was to buy a new slip cover if I didnt like the one I bought with the sofa, shave the pilling off or I could return the sofa and receive 50% of the cost back because it is a special order item. If you check the website they have this material available on all their sofas, even the ones available for quick ship. I paid $3,800 for this sofa. I also spoke to a few different customer service employees, with the same options offered to me.Very disappointed in Restoration Hardware and their effort to do the right thing for the customer when a product is defective. I recommend never shopping here unless you like cheap furniture for a huge price. Go to Walmart, you might get better quality for a lot less!
Friendly staff, nice outdoor patio floor samples.
