Store closes from 11:40 to 12:14. Though the exact time has changed slightly, this is how its worked for years and always will. So those complaining that its not 24/7 or always closed when I arrive, that is why. And the overnight staff is more than willing to explain this respectfully whenever a customer stops by during this period. As for lottery, it closes at that time and stays closed until 5 am. This is true across all of Mass. Lottery sales stores. These complaints are coming purely from the impatient, and the unsympathetic. Ive seen legitimate complaints abojt emplayee conduct, and thats understandable. But the complaints I mentioned can be easily avoided and explained.
Walked in at 12:25 am ON WEDNESDAY morning, (AUGUST 30, 2017)....to cash in a winning TICKET that I bought in your store an hour earlier, and the white male employee with a heavy lisp denied me services. What is with the Alltown employees here specifically....making their own lottery rules up.He doesnt mind selling me $100s of dollars in tickets...but he said I shut down every night at 11:40, WHEN I WENT TO CASH IN THE TICKET. I told him I was already aware that 1:00 am is the lottery commissions time limit for being able to cash tickets in. He gave me the dirtiest look and replied with, Theres nothing I can do, and walked away.THIS IS THE FOURTH WEEK IN A ROW DEALING WITH THIS LOCATIONS ATTITUDE, AND PLAIN IGNORANCE. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!!!!!! ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO PLAYING LOTTERY!!!!!!He watched me walk out angry, and he then sat down and continued playing on his phone.See the 2 pictures below of time of my clock inside my car, showing your store, and the $100 winning ticket that I will gladly give credit somewhere else! By the way, every time i get refused service, another store gets your lottery commission sales.... and your location loses part of the 4% total you get back!
Every Tuesday I visit Alltown from nashua, NH because they have a great lottery selection. I drive a way to enjoy the lottery. I visit the store between 11:00 pm and midnight because my laundry is being done at Colonial village down the street. Depending on the time, the clerk, Melissa, and depending on her mood at the time...is going to determine whether I can enjoy the lottery or not. It does not matter that the state of Massachusetts allows tickets to be cashed until 1:00 am....... As soon as I walk in the door, if she sees tickets in my hands, she immediately shuts my service down and is VERY RUDE ABOUT IT. She does not care if it was 11:30, 11:25 another time, or 11:46 last night. She denied my service once too many times very rudely and then argues with customers as to why the lottery is closed down so early...BECAUSE ITS MY JOB TO COUNT THE TICKETS AND IM DOING MY JOB, ITS MY STORE, if you dont like it, call the store, and tell SCOTT THAT IM DOING MY JOB, was her rude answer last night. Im reporting this store to the LOTTERY COMMISSION.......AND THAT RUDE LADY DESERVES TO GET SPOKEN TO OR CANNED. Shes never happy. Ever. Me and my friend are always scared to walk back in to turn in our tickets because we know shes going to roll her eyes, drop her shoulders because she sees tickets in our hands, or tell us, LOTTERY IS CLOSED! as soon as we enter the store! I didnt even finish entering the store last night when she yelled CLOSED at me. We shouldnt feel SCARED TO RETURN OUR TICKETS THAT WE BUY THERE! If youre selling $100s of dollars in lottery to me every week, HAVE THE RESPECT TO LET ME PLAY MORE THAN ONE ROUND. Very rude lady, Melissa. Disturbing, is the word to describe how badly she treats us. Lottery is part of your job, deal with it.
DONT GO HERE I stopped to get gas during the storm, I went inside because the pump said I had to. I went to pay and the guy said that pump is broken, but you can pay here. I asked what pumps were working. The guy sa8d literally every other one And laughed. I sighed out of frustration because the lot was full of snow and slippery and went to move my car and pay at the pump. As I was about to leave the guy said Jesus Christ I turned and said Excuse me He continued being a rude. I didnt get gas and hope to never go to an alltown again.
Right when I walked I notice the cashier Tina I believe her name was. She was not paying attention. Too busy texting and ignoring me. The type of employees they have in this Alltown is just horrendous I will never go there again!
I didnt work the way it should. After the wash I had to call the attendant to help me out.
