Now mostly all stores and back to rush after COVID-19 . Nice few kids play areas in a mall and food court. Nice, clean and family friendly place to shop.

The renovations are improving the overall feel of the mall. Shops are conveniently placed and theres a map if you need to find something particular. Theres even a movie theater and it offers the latest in cinematic experience. Theres plenty of parking with multiple entrances. There are seasonal shops open for holidays such as Halloween. Often there are tent sales in the parking lot from traveling retailers. Also various shows and carnivals will appear time to time. Restrooms are clean, as is the food court. The food court has a decent selection with plenty of seating .

I love Victoria Secrets.. And bath and Body Works. My most Favorite Spots. And yes I did Alot of shopping.🛍🛍 So I would suggest those stores to anyone.. so the next any of you decide to go to the Mall. Go to Victoria Secrets, they not only have womens perfume, but they also carry mens cologne.. GO CHECK IT OUT. YOU WOULD LOVE IT, I SURE DID. BE SAFE AND GOD BLESS. ☺️

Cool store, but everything is crazy marked up. But really the one star is for the customer service. As a customer service retail worker, I always treat shops with respect. The owners there are not nice nor helpful. You want a figure thats displayed? You can only buy it if you can locate the box, if not too bad. No help. I tried to put a hanging plush back after looking at it. Couldnt quite reach where it was so I hung it back up lower and got chewed out by the owner. Very rude.

Found a new sweet shop that is great and very reasonably priced...my little personal loved it 🥰 first time in a candy store!!

Walking in we could smell the Chinese food and had to see where it was coming from. On our way out we had to stop by. The food was great and the service was fast and reasonably priced at about less than 20 bucks for 2 meals with egg rolls.

Nice mall! Im not sure how malls are in this area but it was fairly busy. The selection of stores was good. Found some great deals at express outlet store and loved that Oakley offers military discount.

For being in a town like Lubbock, this has a awesome amount of variety regarding shops. The only real down fall is the lack of restaurants at the food court, high end shops and more decorations. But if youre just looking to get an outfit or spend some time shopping, this is a fun place to be.

Spacious clean mall with lots of specialty stores. Unfortunately many spaces are empty giving parts of the mall an post apocalyptic feel. Great place to walk and shop.

It was ok. They did away with so much stuff that. There wasnt nothing really to look at. Many stores closed. But it was nice though

Great shopping experience, many options from high end clothing stores to average priced ones! Wasnt crowded considering it was a Friday afternoon - if you are visiting Lubbock, TX - add this positive mall to the list!

The worst place, its a rip off place is a scam . Don’t go there . You buy it even 1 hr latter you can’t trade or return it cost 1000 % more then online

Decent little mall. A lot of empty shop spaces though, and have been for years. Wow has the food court gone downhill though. How did they manage to lose both Asian restaurants?

There have been a lot of updates in our mall since I was in there last. Everything looks good! Customer service was great in every store we went in.

Great mall - on a Fri night, there was nobody on it. Felt abandoned. Lol great time to shop. Felt it had all the necessary stores.

I just moved back to Lubbock, love the new look of the mall. Favorite stores: Hippie Chicks, Barnes and Noble, n Visionworks.

This place is huge and it has a lot to choose from. It is in a good area too! There are lots of things for kids to do, if you bring the 💰💰I would also like to say that compared to many of the Businesses I’ve been to in Lubbock, this mall is exceptionally clean👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼Walking 🚶 🚶‍♀️the mall gives you lots of exercise for sure!!It is on all other parts just another mall, so I find it hard to review more.

I like visiting this Mall when we visit Lubbock. Its got a nice variety of stores to choose from.

Only place in Lubbock to buy mens clothing that is not sporting goods related.This mall is like others old and dying. Parking is poor and the selection of good is small.

Im a mall walker. Mall open doors next to Boot World and enterance to UMC care Clinic at 8:30am. So people can walk around in the Mall. Its a chance to walk without problems of people shopping.

This mall really needs some life put back in it. A lot of stores are closing. It is slowly becoming an abandoned building.

Very nice Mall and a lot bigger than what it seems to be on the outside my kids loved using the escalators and had great stores for just about anything. They do have a bouncy pad for kids to jump but the gentleman was really hungry and told us he couldnt attend to us.

Oh the nostalgia of years gone by. This is still a very nicely kept mall with all the classic shops. It currently has many closed stores plus 2 empty anchor stores that leave it feeling a bit empty from what I remember coming here as a kid. Very clean!

Its not a bad mall by any means, but most stores close stupid early. Ive seen some stores close over an hour before their posted closing time. Most people dont have time to shop after work before over half the mall is closed up. Its a shame...

So many empty stores. Very few options at the food court. Not their fault but I think mall shopping is dying out.

The mall has came a long way here. Many internal remodeling and loss of a few main stores. But it keeps on going and is pretty good to walk around and shop in.

Is a great place to spend time with your friends and families!! And also the stores are great and generous people, but there is a store called dragon home, is a place where is inappropriate for kids and teens, they have unholy things, they cheat on people, they’re policy is not right, they are greedy for money instead of worrying about people, but the mall is awesome is where I go with my family to buy stuff for other people, you could eat peacefully and I love the mall so much!!

Located in Lubbock, TX - South Plains Mall is a shopping center featuring a large variety of specialty stores including Dillards, JCPenney, H&M, Pandora, Hollister. It is also home to restaurants like The Cheesecake Factory, Olive Garden, Jamba, and Chick-fil-A plus Premiere Cinemas & IMAX.

As big as Lubbock is you would think there would be more big chains like Dillards and Jcpenny, and a 2nd level with maybe a fun center.

Wonderful place! Lots of stores and really nice food court. Very easy to drop a few hundred in a short time. Will definitely be coming back to this mall.

The train ride was awesome I suggest riding it early when the mall isnt as crowded. Build a bear is wonderful everyone there was friendly however I wasnt impressed with the Bear selection. There were not as many stores as I thought.

Mostly closed shops... A let down for sure... But earth bound and dragon home were both still open so that was a score. OH and they have a 2 story Barnes and Nobles! Its still smaller than my B&N at home...

The WiFi is bad it feels like, once you connect to the mall wifi, youre connecting straight to facebook or your bank or whatever, but the truth is the mall wifi router is still in the middle listening to (and relaying) everything. If you trust a multi million dollar company not to listen in on that traffic and use it, youre doing it wrong. Your browser is also passing a TON of data to any Web page you connect to (and to the mall router) and all they have to do is ask for it.Even if that sounds far fetched, though it shouldnt, the are lots of other ways for bad guys (who definitely will listen in on that traffic and use it) to set up fake access points so you only think youre connected to the mall. You log into your bank and think nothing of it until weeks, months later when your account is emptied.Thats only two reasons, described in very broad terms. There are, without exaggeration, maybe a hundred ways to exploit public wifi. Including this mall be safe

China Max located in South Plains Mall is a good restaurant for Asian & South Asian community. Their food is delicious and inexpensive.

This mall has all the classic stores that I like to shop. I consider it to have a store for every person. You can count on a food court & areas for children to rest or play (free). Wheel chair accesible & parking lot. 👍

Needs a little more cleaning and more updates to the building. Could use maybe an escape room or other activities to draw in more of a crowd.

High prices and run down 1970s location. The food court despite many store fronts is essentially 80% of the same company just with different cashiers and low food quality. There are a few redeeming food locations. If your a 15 year old girl or boy you might have a great time with your parents credit card but there is nothing appealing for my family there. Stores where closing down left and right before covid and now it seems even worse. Im really hoping someone else builds a newer mall in town that can attract better stores.

Need more business when i went seem weird

At the thirsty turtle coffee co. They have fast and courteous customer service, good coffee, and really comfortable chairs. The barista knew the menu and suggested a coffee i really enjoyed. The atmosphere was quiet and unobtrusive. I loved it here.

Recent renovations still have not improved the mall. Just not a fan.

COVID-19 has taken a toll. Lots of stores still closed or just gone. Only mall in town though.

Not really much going on, generic mall,, you got some stores that are interesting, earthbound and lunchbox are cool. the lack of social distancing though steers me away from here tbh.

I am a Google Local Guide and Today I was helping to add pictures and put the mapmarker in the right place but office Manager told me to leave de place because I do not have Google contract to have permission to help. Probably I am sooooo dangerous for South Plains Mall when I take pictures to help other people. I do not understand. TERRIBLE MANAGER

1st time we have been there since the pandemic & surprisingly it was not over crowded considering it was a weekend. Noticed people were still practicing social distancing.

Young man john from the cleaning people was such a nice person.My nephew didnt know how to tie his shoes because he is only 7 and im too old to bend down to do it so he helped my nephew out by tying his shoes for him so he wouldnt trip or fall. it was a little act but so kind of him.

Its seems like a ghost town. There are only 3 places to eat. Charleys sandwiches, chick fil a, and a potatoe fries place. No options. Walking around there where really a lot of empty stores.

This was a nice mall, just really disappointing that they only had like three places to choose from to eat though.

Great place but lost my wallet and finally found it along with all of my cash stolen. Those who stole my cash from my wallet are miserable and dishonest.

Went to TT Outfitters to get my KC Mahomes gear! They had a wide variety to choose from fair prices. Great staff help. Atmosphere was clean and in order and even though it was almost time to close the employees were patient and allowed all patrons shop without rushing anyone. I recommend this store 100%

We have been coming here since I had my oldest and they have been, little by little, expanding. Since the covid is still about, some stores are only letting a certain amount of people in at a time, but when we went it wasnt that packed for there to be any lines. Just stay safe when you go and always have wipes/or hand sanitizer.

Always love going to the mall, but they are losing alot of store and the food court is almost empty it is so sad.
