Happy to have a one-stop-shop for my outdoor work. TFP did my fence with concrete footer and stain. I plan to use them for a pergola and outdoor living space soon. Also had their sister company do my seamless gutters. Im really happy that I didnt need to mess with multiple contractors to get everything done and the quality is very good.

Texas Fence & Pergola built 2 pergolas in our small backyard space on the west side of our house to cut down on the heat and sun in the afternoon. We are very happy with the workmanship, the communication and the sturdiness. The look great. The construction crew was very efficient working long hours and did a wonderful job of building and cleaning up after. The staining crew was excellent as well - this was no quick spray job. They spent the time to do it right and make sure all surfaces were covered. We are looking forward to many years of enjoyment outside under these beautiful pergolas and when its time to re-stain them, as well as our fence, I wont hesitate to call them again. We had our pergola washed and stained to match our new fence stain. we added a Polycarbonate cover so we could use the space regardless of the weather. Steven Smith and his crew did a superb job. They boxed in a larger limb that grew up thorough the slats of the pergola, truly a customcover for our pergola.

I had an appointment for over a week for a fence estimate and mentioned, when I spoke with Steven, that I lived in Whiteface wondering if they traveled that far. He gave me an appointment and never said that he wouldnt go that far. An hour and a half before my appointment he texted and said that he just put my address in GPS and he doesnt go that far. I understand not being able to work that far from Lubbock just let someone know sooner next time.

I am very pleased with the service we received from Texas Fence and pergola. We got a quote within a few days and had a date set right away to do the work. Our fence looks great! We would definitely recommend them. They were very courteous and friendly!

Working with the owner, Steven, has been a nightmare. He appears incompetent, he’s extremely rude and he does not stand behind his work. Therefore, I fired him and told him he is not allowed back on our property. We will find someone else to complete the work he did not finish. My husband, Michael, is not happy with the work either. Plus, we are working with insurance on all the damage Steven’s company caused to our property, which was a lot. I do not recommend using Texas Fence and Pergola. Scope of project: TREX Fence, custom gate, and stain pergolas. Poor custom service, poor quality, and poor project management. It appeared to us that zero to little planning went into gate, fence or pergolas. Not to mention, they tried spray painting our pergolas in 60 m/h wind so red paint went everywhere (new roof, stucco, stamped concrete, etc). We were giving a timeline of 2-3 weeks and they still are not done. They started Jan. 10th and it is now March 19. Custom gate does not close all the way either. Plus, we highly doubt they will stand behind their work as they do not want to fix issues. Company may be okay with a cookie cutter project but custom work is a stretch.

Poor customer service, poor quality of work, and poor communication. Was very disappointed with owner, Steven. We hired company to do custom gate, TREX fence and stain pergolas. Several issues. Gate doesn’t close and lock doesn’t work. Steven refuses to fix issues. I do not recommend his company.

The craftsman were great but the pergola I picked from the owners show case and the one they built was very different with less wood and cheeper hardware. When I called him about the issues he said it was Friday and to date he has never come by to look at it. Very disappointed with the owner!

Very disappointed! Our pergola is in need of repair and they came out to look at it very friendly but we never heard back from them! My husband called again they said they would get back to us and they never did!! So I called and said I was disappointed and was told to find someone else!! I was not rude I did not raise my voice!! I dont know why they didnt want to work with us but I will never call them again!!!
