They came out the day we called, even though it was almost the end of the work day. Their tech was friendly and understanding. He fit our work into his schedule to accommodate our availability, and he really tried hard to keep our costs as low as possible. They were great and so was the work quality.

I have a lot of work done to my properties. The repair was quick but pricey for 15-25 minutes of doing the work. Was expecting about half the price charged. Would call around for more quotes to get more competitive pricing.

Please make sure you call overhead door on 4912 Frankford and not overhead garage door. Overhead garage door is not overhead door. Overhead garage door company ripped off my 86 yr old mom trying to charge her double whereas overhead door came out promptly repaired the door and it cost a fraction of the cost that overhead garage door was trying to charge her. Overhead garage door would not return her deposit either when she tried to cancel her order. Overhead garage door shows up as the first item in a google search as an attempt to capitalize on the known name overhead door. Make sure you get the correct company.

The technician (Riley Sloan) provided great customer service, very detailed about the repairs and posted the company’s contact information next to our garage opener on the wall and he noted the work order number. The work was done with an hour! I asked if he could provide me with an estimate of a new garage door and he quoted me prices right away. Garage door torsion spring needs to be replaced and OGD quoted over $400 for the repair! Called another company within minutes of this quote and the other company quoted $180 for the job to be done today or $150 if I can wait until Monday. The OGD Overhead technician was very kind and knowledgeable but way over priced!!

Caden Hayes came Monday morning for our Tuesday afternoon appointment (assigned the Saturday before), eager, masked, courteous and helpful. I’d been stymied getting 2 old handheld remotes to function even with new batteries. He sold us a single remote that worked flawlessly, which let me later program our two cars visor buttons to work the garage door opener. He did a 12 point check of our system and left an encoded decal on the garage door near the functioning keypad so we could call for help in the future as needed. It was straightforward, quick, and appreciated. I’m now a satisfied, impressed, and loyal customer.

My experience with OGD was excellent and the gentleman that came to my home did a great job.

Today, thankfully on the downhill slope of the ole snow/ice mess, my garage door decided to throw a spring...no really...literally. Threw that puppy all the way across the garage. So I started looking for garage door companies on the internet to try & see if I could get someone out today. And prayerfully so, as the last company I called within the Lubbock area didnt even try to make it out for almost a week. In fact, I ended up having to fix it myself & well...did I mention my garage door broke this morning? Any way I landed on OGD, and boy am I sure glad I did. They had somebody out to the house much faster than I had anticipated. In fact, from the very professional young woman who answer the phone down to the confirmation invoice texts I received this evening, OGD flexed their customer service muscles and theyve put in the work. I dont write reviews very often but the costumer service at this business is so bad I had to say something! The repair guys they sent were amazing, but the first repair didnt last long. The second time they came out I had to have a whole new unit...so a spent hundreds in repairs and replacement. I was taken back when I called and spoke to Riley and he was not interested in helping me at all. Riley said I was not a customer there and he could not help me. I assured him I was and my bill was right in front of me. He had to look again, and was even more annoyed. He talked over me, was condescending, and rude. All I needed was someone to go out and help me get the new keypad and motor working! They charged almost $800 for the parts and install, but I guess thats were they draw the line on customer service. Ooo Riley also wanted to charge me $35 for coming out....it had been over 30 days.R. Furlow

Your technician was friendly. Told me it didn’t look like parts were needed, just service. I was quoted $35 service fee when I called in. Then I was not told of extra charges BEFORE the work was done. I was charged $330 after the work was completed. After talking to the technician he lowered it to $180 (which I paid reluctantly). Your company is using unethical repair tactics and price gouging. The other garage door repair company when I called them said it would be $85 total. Unfortunately this was after your tech did the work at a grossly inflated, unapproved price. BBB has been notified as well as the Attorney Generals office. Your company is dishonest and praying on elderly persons.

Paid upfront for cable replacements. Was told it would take 3 weeks. Called after 3 weeks and said the technician would call me. The next week I called to check again. Was told the technician would call me. Still hasn’t called me by the end of the week so I called on a Friday to get my money back. Said all the managers were gone and would have to call me on Monday. Monday morning I still had no call. When I called at lunch they said they were busy but would call me by end of day. At 4:30 we still had not heard so I called again. Managers were in meetings and apparently too busy to return a call for me. This has been the most frustrating experience!SAVE YOURSELF THE FRUSTRATION AND CALL A LOCAL COMPANY!!!!! 😡

While the service was great and the technician quickly arrived after me calling to set up an appt, I just learned that I was extremely overcharged. My door fell off the tracks and I was charged over 300 bucks for them to fix it. The company that made my garage door (overhead door) said that they wouldve only charged me 85 dollars altogether to fix the door since no parts were needing to be replaced. Seriously disappointed in learning that I was severely overcharged.

Called for service at noon, they were able to arrive at 4PM, the door/part was fixed by 5:15~. $400 for tension spring replacement package and warranty. It seemed a bit expensive, but the technician was friendly and Id still do business with them again.

Great response time. Came out on a Saturday and was done in a couple of hours. One area that could be better was to be able to see a breakdown of costs instead of just the total. If not for that wouldve given 5 stars.

The technician accomplished everything I wanted. However it was about a five minute tour or maybe 10 minutes and I thought the charge of $100 for 10 minutes labor what is outlandish.

Backed into my garage door because I inadvertently hit my opener and it started closing as I went in reverse and threw both sides off track.Having been on a Friday afternoon, my original installer told me it wouldnt be til Monday evening til they could come out and I couldnt go that long with my home unsecured. Had heard about Overhead Doors, called them, and a tech was kind enough to drive from Moore to Yukon to get it fixed within a couple of hours.Great customer service. Hopefully, I wont have to use them under those circumstances again, but its nice to know theyre out there.
