Three weeks ago I contacted AirTex about installing a mini split before summer arrived. Since then I have been met with nothing but the best customer service and quality work. They let me borrow a portable heater/ac system until they installed the mini split which was awesome. Thank you all, I would recommend to everyone.

These people came out and explained to me what I needed exactly. They did not presssure me to buy. They sent me a quote explaining what all they would do and the price very quickly. They gave me a quick date for installation. Today they arrived with two very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient men. They were there most of the day explaining to me what they did and installing my ac and heat unit. They cleaned up after themselves and I’m very pleased with their work. Our A/C went out on a very hot day. Josh came out the same day. We braced ourselves for the worst, but he was able to fix it by replacing a part. He also gave; us advice on how to care for our very old unit and what to look out for as well as what kind of filters to use. It was very professional, and reasonably priced. I would trust LAirTex to give an honest assessment and do what is needed, but not more than what is needed.

Of course the first 100 degree day of the year our ac decides to stop working on us (on a Friday evening at that). Messaged them Saturday morning and they were able to make it out the same day. Josh came out and was right on time and got right to work. He found the problem within a few minutes of his diagnosis. He also checked over the rest of the unit to make sure there were no other issues and was able to perform some routine maintenance that will hopefully keep me from having issues in the future. Amazing Service!!I discovered that my heat pump died February 9th. I called a few different contractors but was thoroughly impressed with Josh Brown and Air-Tex. After a long days work, Josh was willing to come out and look at my unit. He took the time to explain and answer all our questions and then was up late to write an estimate and had the new RHEEM Heat Pump and electric air handler installed on Feb. 10th!His estimate was right where it needed to be and yet he did more than I would have expected. The old unit was not installed well and Josh replaced it with all new copper lines with armor flex on suction line, placed a very nice pre-primed copper line set cover outside the house, installed the unit to work with 4-inch filters, and hooked up a smart Honeywell thermostat!I am very impressed! When you get quotes, be sure to compare the details, apples to apples. The people at Air-Tex are professional, courteous, and thoughtful. Need I say more?

I would have given 10 Stars if possible. My air conditioner went out on a 100 degree day. I called the company that installed the system and was told they could not get to it that day and might be able the next day but it would be after 5 PM if they could otherwise it would be the following day. I looked on line for air conditioner repair and saw Air-Tex and the excellent ratings. I called and was told they were also busy and had a full schedule for the day, but he understood and would head my way shortly. I received an email and text that the call was scheduled within the next 2 hours. About 10 minutes later, I received a text that Josh from Air-Tex was en route. The communications from Air-Tex were outstanding! Josh arrived at my house 30 minutes after my original call. He quickly diagnosed the problem with a faulty capacitor and had the right one with him on the truck. He then took the time to check the pressures on the outside system and inspect the inside furnace, blower, and filters along with the thermostat in the house. He gave me valuable tips and information on keeping the system running efficiently at optimal performance. When we went back to check the pressure on the outside unit, the condensing fan began to screech due to a bearing going out which most likely had caused the capacitor issue. Thankfully, he had a new condensing fan for the unit and quickly installed it. Had Josh not taken the time to inspect and check the entire system, it would have burned out the new capacitor after a short time and the system would have failed again and an additional service call and expenses would have been incurred. I just cant say enough about the excellent and personalized service from Josh Brown. Air-Tex is customer service at its best! I certainly recommend Air-Tex and will remain a customer for life.

We have used Airtex for plumbing needs in the past, and just used them to install a new Central AC in our home. They are kind, knowledgeable, hardworking, and punctual. I appreciated the way they explained things as they went along, and even had to have them repair my moms unit in the middle of it all! I highly recommend them.

I would recommend Air Tex for all your Heating and and Air Conditioning needs. Josh and his crew were very professional and my wife and I are extremely happy with the whole home humidifier, air cleaning system and insulation they installed in our home. While Josh and his crew were at the house installing these items, my heated tile malfunctioned. Josh did research contacted the heated floor manufacturer and repaired the heated floor for us. This really impressed my wife and I. Air Tex doesnt install or repair heated floors, but Josh took the initiative to learn about the floor and executed the repair successfully. Customer service is excellent. If I could give Air Tex 10 stars I would. Air Tex will always be our go to for our Heating and Air Conditioning needs.

This is going to be a long one. I cannot say enough good things about Airtex. They have the personalization and friendly touch of a family-owned operation with the convenience of a big corporation. I was able to schedule an appointment for an estimate through their website, on a Saturday, something no one else in town could do for me. I received text alerts every time they were going to come to my house, and email confirmation of every appointment and estimate. Josh Brown, the owner, came to do my estimate himself. He spent half the time he was with me telling me what to look out for and expect even if I didnt wind up using his company. I was looking to have an AC unit installed and a possible replacement of my 57 year old heater. I also needed insulation blown and my ductwork wrapped. Even during the estimate, Josh offered to throw in the insulation for free with purchase of the unit. Of course, it helped that I was buying a AC in the middle of February for them to be able to give me a good deal. I was debating between getting a mid-range or a higher range, more efficient unit, when Josh called me personally and let me know that the manufacturer was going to be providing a 5% discount the next day. Apparently they get these discounts every once in awhile, find out about them the day before they can take advantage of them, and take the time to reach out to any of their pending customer to offer the discount to them. I was going to need to use financing, so Josh texted his wife, Shaunna, who works in the office and she was ready to get my financing going within 5 minutes of me hanging up with him. The finance company they work with offers either 0% 12-month financing or 10 year financing at 7.9%. While I plan to pay off the loan in a year, I decided to go with the 10-year financing so that I would have a little bit more financial security as I pay it off. There are no prepayment penalties. I also was going to need electricity run to the outside of my house for the outside unit. Josh put me in contact with an electrician, explained to the electrician directly exactly what was needed, and even asked the electrician, on my behalf, if he could come by after work or on a Saturday for me. When I told Airtex that I was going to have to wait about two weeks so that I could give work notice that I would need to be out for the day, they insisted that they install the unit for me on a Saturday. Josh and Eric worked at my house from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on a Saturday, installing the unit and hooking it up, dealing with a very tight space in my utility closet. They werent able to get to the insulation and ductwork that day. They were willing to come and do the rest while I was at work, with my permission of course. The day they finished, Josh called me shortly before they left and let me know what all had been done, and asked my permission to clean my garage. The previous owners had left some stuff in the attic, and they took everything to the dumpster, and sweats my garage from what I can tell. He also sent me pictures of the before and after of the attic with insulation. They also provide a 10-year labor and parts warranty for about $600. This is only slightly more than my one-year Home Warranty. At Joshs suggestion, Im going to attempt to negotiate a lower price with my home warranty, since I will no longer need the AC and heater portion. Anyway Airtex is the only AC and heat place that I will ever use again in Lubbock. And I will shout out their awesomeness to anyone and everyone who needs AC or heat service.

I am extremely pleased with service I received today. I contacted AirTex this afternoon because the A/C was not working. I scheduled the appointment online for tomorrow between 10-12. I was contacted and was told a technician could come out today! Josh was the technician who came out to the house and found the problem. He replaced the part that was not working and also checked the unit outside to be sure there were no other problems. He did a great job getting g the unit up and running! AirTex will be my go to for anything related to our central unit! I highly recommend them!

I have a rental property in which the Whirlpool water heater was 11 years old. The tenants said they could hear some popping of the sediment. Its hard to find reliable HVAC people. I picked Air-Tex out of a google search and sent an contact message via the website. Brett called within a few hours of that request being sent. I was impressed by Bretts punctuality, courteousness, and overall honesty. After a few days of coordinating schedules, Brett was able to install the new 40 Rheem water heater in a little over an hour. I was shocked. Two other companies I have dealt with over the last 4 years took approx 4 hours to do what Air-Tex did. Because of this one experience I will use Air-Tex from now on. Thank you Air-Tex!
