Wow. Just wow. These guys in here are absolutely amazing. Each one I talked to is kind, each one knew what he was talking about and just how to help me. I talked to Edgar over the phone and he was amazing. Talked to Luis in store and he was able to work with me and get me exactly what I needed. And their manager Mike was just the sweetest. All in all, if you need tire work done don’t go to Firestone, don’t go to a Michelin store, come here!

Only had enough for one tire so I could get back home to Houston. Come to find out another tire was on its last leg as well. I was assisted with the new tire and the associate looked out for me and provided me with a used one. Truly thankful!!

Every employee here was so pleasant and kind. I went in at 5:15p on a flat donut and an irreparable tire in my trunk. They gave me a loaner tire and we scheduled an appointment for me to come back the next day to get all new tires. The service was professional, fast and easy.

I went in for a flat tire. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a warranty on my tires so they took care of the issue and I didn’t have to come out of pocket. They gave me updates throughout the time I was there to ensure they were working on my tire. All in all it was a very good experience I love this company and their services. What a GREAT TEAM at Discount Tire in Lufkin Texas. Mike, Johnny, and Gabe were so awesome and professional today. They were so busy but was able to take care of my tires. I also was able to meet the new store manager Patrick. He was very professional and was looking out for me and my familys well being . He will go far in life and The Discount Tire Company should be very proud to have him as their new store manager, with such a great TEAM of employees. They were sooo nice and helpful! I was traveling with my dog, and they had no problem with me bringing him in with me. Super fast, and even let me know that I was originally charged for the wrong size tire (mine wheels are smaller than typical), and that they owed me a rebate. And to top it off, the young man, Oliver, who was updating me, carried my dogs bowels out for me! 10 stars!!

Avoid at all cost, nothing but pushy sales people trying to sell u tires ! ..... After purchasing a full set of tires with 70,000 mile warranty from them, they are now telling me at the 35,000 mile wear they are no good tires and I must replace them all! Further, they will no longer uphold my warranty simply because one tire has more wear than the other 3. They told me at the buying process ok great tires well get them on there, now they are backtracking??? Who has the $$ for full sets everytime you turn around. Thats why I bought the 70,000 mile tires. This is bad customer service and I refuse to accept it.

My family and I were traveling with a newborn baby through when we got a flat on 59. We called and went to WalMart in Lufkin where they told us an hour wait and I’d have to bring the baby into WalMart! I called Discount Tire across the street and spoke to a very professional guy named Edgar. Not only did he check us in and give us the same wait estimate. When I arrived, he had a bay waiting for us as soon as my family got there! He said I could stay in the car with the baby and it was fixed quickly at no charge!! Just great service! This place exceeded my expectations!!

These guys are awesome! I’m a student at SFA and usually go to a discount tire in central Texas, but I’ve had a couple tire problems & had to go to Lufkin Discount twice this month- once to fix up a nail in the tire and once to replace my back tires. The guys were all super positive and nice! Professional, but had a good time. They were very understanding and accommodating of my situation and took care of me. The check-in guy even remembered my name after an hour and said bye to me as I left. They all made my day better! Definitely recommending this discount tire to my family back home. They can change their tires when they come visit! :)

I pulled up and before I could get out someone was already coming out to help. I needed a new rim and tire and was afraid I was going to have to pay a fortune because of the rim. I was extremely pleased when I left with not only the prices but the customer service. I highly recommend this place. The associates are extremely helpful and acknowledgable.

Ricky and team did an amazing job for me. I had ongoing issues with custom rims for 2 months. Stood by me and worked VERY HARD to resolve my problem with a wheel manufacturer. He, along with all the team, treated me very well when it would have been easy to tap out. I have been a Discount customer for years in many states. They was amazing, was in and out real fast.

I’ve been a repeat customer since they setup shop in Lufkin. Their customer service is excellent and they always do quality work. The best part of buying tires here is free rotation/balance and in the event of a nail or puncture it’s free.. plus they’re all over the USA, so if you’re traveling and something comes up, you’re covered. I’ve never had to wait more than an hour for any of my visits. Lastly they’ve got free coffee, bottled water, and the lobby is always clean with plenty of places to sit and relax.

Friendly and helpful! We pulled in right before closing with a nail in a tire and were not turned away, and were not made to feel that we were inconveniencing them, even though we were, and were only coming in for a warranty issue on our tire. They replaced the damaged tire at no charge, AND we went ahead and bought 3 new ties as well since we were about to go on a road trip and the old tires were short on tread. Super fast, super nice. Definitely recommend!

Came in from out of town - had a tire with slow leak because of a machine screw. Had to get it fixed because of long trip. Met Zach at Discount Tire - was courteous and very helpful. Said they could fix the tire in an hour. Got a bite to eat and came back in an hour. Tire was fixed as promised and best of all they did not charge me. Staff was great and excellent service.

This is the best Discount tire service I have had. I felt like I was appreciated and everyone went above and beyond to tell me all I needed to know. I have been using Discount Tire for years.

Had tires done and got a full spare about a year ago. Employees where very nice and helpful like they always are. Fast forward till the day I got a flat in the middle of nowhere with a sick kid only to discover the spare wont fit my car. Luckily a constable happened by and helped us... So the constable gets the 5 stars for helping us get the tire fixed that I had to pay for again!

My tires were special order. Edgar helped me choose the tires, Zeke assisted in the quick delivery to their Lufkin store. They were installed today with a confirmed appointment. My total wait time was 35 minutes. I asked the tech to gloss my new tires and he did it on the spot! I also had an unexpected surprise. They allowed 100 dollar trade on the original tires that I bought compulsively 2 mos ago. 5 stars absolutely!

Went there today as a single woman with a tire that was almost flat ! Turned out the tire was no good which is fine so I told the man I’d get a new tire when I went however the man starts to tell me I need 3 tires which were $107.00 a piece my tires are usually around $50-60 so I asked what type of tire he didn’t want to tell me about any other tires. Finally told me there was one for $53 told him to put that one on but he kept trying to get me to purchase 4 tires instead even though one is practically new and told me if I didn’t that it was fine but that my car would pull ! The man also told me that a 40,000 mile tire will only last 10,000 miles if I’m lucky ! So take your chances ladies but unless you know your stuff about tires I don’t recommend them at all ! I had to get tires from Walmart and they sold me one said I could wait on the others and the new was perfectly fine it will probably last a year or so!

They will always let you know how your tires are doing and offer you the best deals they can when buying tires. They will always check your tires and fill up the air for free. The wait usually is long but it is because they are a great place so if you can make an appointment online.

This is one of the friendliest and most proficient businesses that my husband (Tom) and I have visited in quite sometime. Very professional and time conscious. Our vehicle needed 4 new tires and they took off the old ones and put on new ones 30-45min. From the young man (Zeke) who took our car to the back, to another guy that brought it out to us, there could not have been a better crew. Our son recommend Discount Tire and this where we will come back to.

Service was great! As we traveled, I realized that one front tire had a problem. We stopped at the Lufkin Discount Tire, and they replaced the two front tires and had us on our way in 30 minutes! Good price too!

I called them to price and schedule the removal and installation of 4 tires on my truck. S heduling was not an issue though. The biggest issue was the price of the task...they quoted me $144 to do the job! Thats $38/tire!! I called a few more places in town and the average price was approx $20/tire. Finally called Gateway Tire and the gentleman there instantly quoted me $75 to do the entire job! Once I got there and they completed the job the price was $60! Sixty bucks to do the SAME job that Discount Tire was going to charge me $144 for!! Not sure where they get off calling themselves Discount Tire!! Will not use them ever again!

They didnt balance our front driver tire so had to take time off from work to come back up here and was told to wait a hour or we could take the tire off our self and they would try to do it ... so here we are taking our own tire off in the parking lot.. if it was done right the first time we wouldnt have this problem... but thanks for going the extra mile...

I love going to Discount Tire in Lufkin because their staff is always friendly, courteous, and works hard to get you in and out. This place reminds me of Cheers, the tv show because they greet me by name every time I come. If youre looking for a place where youll receive great customer service this is it! Did my research on line and made a selection to be reserved. Tires were not there when I got there. The staff did check on the statis of the delivery truck and called me when it arrived. They got the tires on my car and me out the door in a timely manner.
