I’m very happy with my purchase of a Sony Laser projector for my church. It replaced a 20 year old InFocus unit that served us well. We used the new projector for the first time on June 14 which coincided with our first in person service in three months. The people were blown away at the picture from the new unit. Be careful!!!THE WORST service. Yesterday I ordered a Nikon camera on their website. A day later I got an automatic email asking me to approve my shipping address. When I contacted their customer service they VERY RUDLY told me they dont even have this camera. What a waste of time!

I ordered a 70-300 lens w/image stabilizer and it took a while for it to come. Because it took a while they sent another lens and a battery and charger ( the battery and charger was for free)till I got the right lens. In the end I have a great lens. They worked to get the right lens to me, and I’m happy with the great service 👍

They list grey market items as new products please beware that they are not authorized dealers in many brands they list.

I have rated Buy Direct & Save so low because I believe they sold me a refurbished BenQ HT3550 that was not identified as such on the web page for that model. 1) It was not in a BenQ box. It was a generic shipping box, with the BenQ label glued to the box. 2)There were no styrofoam inserts, the type that stop electronics from rattling around in the box. There was some bubble wrap instead 3)The owners manual was printed on 8.5x11 paper with the binding one would use on a school report 4) There were scuff marks on the back of the remote, as though something had been scrubbed off. 5) The price beat the next best price by $200. So, do I KNOW, with court of law certainty that it was refurbished? No, but the indications are there. If it hadnt been DOA I would have just kept it. (DOA happens occasionally; thats not part of the 1 star rating.) On the positive side, they refunded my money with absolutely no hassle. On the negative side, now Ill have to have the home theater installation people come out again when I do get a new projector, costing me more $$$. Buy Direct did not try to talk me into taking a replacement, but I also made it clear from the start I wanted a refund, not another projector.The label makes the box look very beaten up, but it was not damaged at all.

Called the customer service number, received very rude responses, also listing their international version camera at low price, then when I called and tried to order the Sony A7iii, they told me I have to add $299 for US model or it wouldn’t work. Almost bought the international model without even knowing it wouldn’t even work.
