I used to love shopping here. Now they make a big deal out of not wearing a face diaper. My wife was just treated rudely by staff for not wearing a useless face mask. So shes done with this store. Masks are not only useless, they are harmful when worn so much. This nonsense needs to stop.

I love grocery shopping here. No fancy rewards program, gross sushi or high tech self checkout. Instead, consider laid back uncrowded shopping, fresh and often local produce, quality well trimmed meats, local dairy goods and many local delights. Local berries at almost the same price as the farm stand vs the same product at almost double price from a nearby regional grocery chain. The staff is super friendly. The store lacks nothing. We fully switched to shopping here after two visits and have zero regrets. One can get gross sushi anywhere...

This is one of my favorite shops because of its convenient location, brunch, a diverse range of reasonably priced drinks, and the finest deli and meat counter in town! The whole crew was welcoming and encouraging. Im sure Ill return next week to pick up a few items.

They have really good fried chicken with great price and we bought fresh wild oyster about dozen with cheap price

Best grocery store in Lynden! Especially great during COVID times because masks are required and its not as busy as the other chain stores. Clean carts and respectful staff. Delicious burrito bar in the deli. Really fun selection of traditional Dutch delicacies as well!

Amazing helpful staff. Clean. Unique products. Covid safe. Great produce fairly priced. Weekly meat sales. Best fried chicken in Whatcom County. I shop almost exclusively here. Feels like a neighborhood grocery store, not corporate.

Huge spotlessly clean, good selection of the standard stuff and their in house departments offer excellent selection & very helpful staff. Im driving from Bellingham to Lynden just to shop here. Prices beat the big name stores.

On days when I want a specific item and dont care to fight safeway as the parking lot is full. This is a good option. I dont do my bi-monthly shoping here as I think the prices are higher and no gas rewards

Ok store normally dont shop there much as prices are high. They were having a two day advertised special on a few things i was interested in. Planed on going on Wed the first day but plans changed at last minute. Went today Thanksgiving. Got the one item but the other things i planed on picking up i couldnt because they were deli items and the deli closed at noon instead of their normal 8pm.

This bakery never disappoints with a wonderful cake decorator. Not only is she super trustworthy with your special occasion, but listens to your needs and and makes your vision a reality.The taste is absolutely delicious and not to mention so so affordable!!! 🦄They make a simple cake to a tres leches cake!!!!Yum!!Safeway was my go to bakery- but taste was not great super sugary, and customer service was lacking, so now this is my go to.

Theyre adding to the produce and health food section, so its a little hectic (and why Im giving 4 stars). However, the selection is great, prices are competitive for the area, large gluten free selection, good seafood selection as well, the staff are super friendly and helpful, theres rarely lines at check out, and the store is clean. Theres also a huge selection of natural soaps, shampoos, conditioners, and other body products. Really nice store.

Need better wifi

I did like the deli grab n go food areas. It did feel a little more local and less cookie cutter corporate. But like many of these Food Pavilions across the area it seemed a little run down.

Love their hot food

I feel like they are trying to be a Whole Foods without the charm. Nice staff, and decent selection but prices are just too high for everyday shopping. The fact they carry some organic food doesnt excuse raising the prices on everything else in the store. I do like the open layout in the front of the store but I generally stop at Safeway across the street.

This place was fine. Really slow inside. Found what I needed. The employees looked like their souls were being slowly pulled from their bodies from monotony and dealing with people. So. If youre a customer: be nice please! And if youre the owner/manager: help your people out! Change up the music, start a fun contest, SOMETHING.

Great nifty stuff, nice people, way too high. Theyre making the public pay for all that empty floor space. O.J. should not exceed the already expensive milk. Maybe be kinder to your neighbors. Great bulk spice and grains.

I like to support the little guy. Food Pav (as we call them) is just that, small local company that has good products and decent prices. A major plus is that they arent crazy busy like across the street. Give them some love and shop there!

Veggies and fruit prices are OK at times most times high for regular stuff. But getting better. :) meat is what I shop for here. Chicken from local farms is the best. And pork is really good too. Beef is fair. All other stuff in the store Is sometimes 10 to 20 cents or 1.00 more so shop only sales

Prices on non produce products are pretty steep. Produce is quality and prices are on point though.

Every friendly folks, prices and clean store

Sometimes more expensive than Safeway, but the people are nicer and sometimes they have things Safeway doesnt have. This place is also easier to get to during the after work rush. So spending a little more can be totally worth it when it comes to quicker service and nicer people.

Love this place, the clerks, cashiers and every other employee are super friendly and always looking out for you. I have made this my main shopping center, and prices are competitive. It is a very small town, family feel and they offer all the products I could need.

Excellent fresh fruit and vegetables. Carry Dutch cookies and baked goods!! Wide selection of household groceries and goods. Prices are bit high but selection is better than regular chain (Safeway) stores.

Weve bought our holiday turkeys here for many years. They have always been fantastic.

This store has one of the largest deli and food court I have ever seen, and it is staffed by one person, and they stop making food by 5 PM. All of their deli items are inedible, and the person that cooks them has the audacity to say that they are fresh. They are not. But its no wonder the food is cold; they keep the temperature in the store at freezing!

Its your typical small town grocery store, stocks most items the average household would need throughout the week, and kept quite clean, even though the staff does their best even with a very small team at any given time. Unfortunately, prices seem to be higher higher than other towns and cities in the area. WIC, Credit, Debit, are accepted.

Huge store went in at like 630 an was the only ones there. Clean store Friendly staff decent prices. Its no winco but the price of gas it balances out unless your getting a lot.

The no mask no service thing is far beyond what the state requires, I guess that is their company policy, will file a complaint with the ADA, I can go into Safeway with no issues.

Good produce, good prices, a respectable selection of Hispanic products, a huge selection of Dutch foods, lots of local items, a pleasant shopping experience and friendly service. They dont carry everything under the sun, but, eh, so what?

Food Pavillion has a fantastic selection of Dutch import food (and wooden clogs, foam clogs, slipper clogs.) Decent keto product selection too. It never seems terribly busy, so the shopping is leisurely, parking is ample.

Pretty good store for shopping south of the border for items we dont have in Canada. Selection could be a bit bigger.

They have a larger selection of organic and gmo free products, but their prices are a bit high.The produce is hit or miss in terms of freshness.The staff is not overly helpful, but they are not rude.Overall, this store offers things you cannot purchase anywhere else in Lynden. The price and underwhelmed staff make this an average place to shop.

I would always go to this store because its NEVER busy, however the last time I went I saw not 1 but 2 employees chase down a poor older woman who was carrying her little chihuahua ( the dog was not walking around or in the cart but being carried ) to tell her to get out of the store now. The woman said she had just come from the vet and that shed called in advance and was told that it was ok as long as she held the dog it was better than leaving it in a hot car, (5/15/18 - 75 degrees.) So the woman left her cart and walked out, very embarrassed as several customers encluding myself got to witness this.Customers perception is 99% of your reality, I hope that poor woman never goes back there.Safeway across the street is always busy but Ive never witnessed them treating a customer badly, so Im going there and so will my friends and neighbors after I tell them what happened. This is Lynden Id like to think that our patrons were treated better than that!

Best Employees: Elena, Carrol, Jannice, Best place to get Lotto tickets one of the last remaining Food Pavilion/Cost Cutter/ The Markets.. locations remaining! It is as authentic as can be. Very accessible right off the Guide Meridian, right next to dollar tree, Popeyes, McDonald’s, cruising coffee, Starbucks, Safeway, Woods Coffee, Burger King, DQ.. etc.
