We are from out of town and needed a water pump replaced. Everyone was booked solid. But Jason Tuffy took us right in and had my car repaired in less than 4 hours. They even drove us to a nail solon to help pass the time. Awesome place.

This is my favorite place for automobile repairs. Their hours are a little shorter than the competition down the road but better than the guys in the other direction. They have the best front desk and management team around. Lets face it, those are the only guys you are going to meet and their attitude matters! They also never charge me a diagnostic fee when they are doing the repair.

I called Tuffy to get a plug put in my tire. They got me in immediately and fixed in less than 5 minutes. They didn’t even charge me. Great service. Thank you Tuffy. If I have any tire issues in the future I know where I’m going.

Awesome place Awesome people.I drive a redeye hellcat. They couldnt find me a tire because of the size of my wheels, nut the office guy JC put my donut tire on so I could get home and he would not take any money from me. I used to love this place! I probably wont be back after the experience I had this last time. The front desk person is extremely rude and unprofessional. He talked bad about every one he got off the phone with to start. Most were women he was talking about. I heard him say a women was a bi**& after she walked out. He absolutely would not give me an estimated time to come back so I waited what ended up being 2 hours. I asked what he and the mechanic were talking about pertaining to my vehicle. He responded with its none of my business. There is more but this was the reason I wont be back. His name was Cj I believe. 2 stars because another guy was helping and he was professional.

Tuffy saved the day! A couple weeks ago was one of those days. Woke up to my son being really sick, phone didn’t charge overnight, and was running late. Then walked out to a flat tire! Needless to say, it was a really bad morning. I pulled over to Tuffy and they ALL went above and beyond to help me! They got me right in to fix my tire, loaned me a charger so I could charge my phone, and then let me use their phone to call the pediatrician! They were amazing!! They got me right back on the road as soon as possible, so I could continue on! It’s people like this that give me hope that not everyone has forgotten how far kindness and compassion can go!! They did a brake inspection on my Truck because I heard a metal grinding noise.Told me that the brakes was worn down to the metal.They also told me my rotors was bad.Well upon further inspection at my father-in-laws house we found out none of that was true.It was a bad wheel bearing hub assembly. I still had more than half of brake life left and rotors was perfectly fine.(UPDATE)-Jason the manager contacted my wife and he made it right refunded for the money I spent on the parts they said that we needed !! I appreciate the manger reaching out and doing what was right !!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. I sent my teenage daughter to Tuffy to have a diagnostic check because a warning light came on and it was shaking and sounded funny. She has a Mini Cooper. We wanted to find out at the very least if it was safe to drive to a specialist shop that works on these cars but that wasn’t needed. The staff took great care of her and called me to explain everything. They must have spent an hour on it or so and were not going to charge us. It was a fuel issue and she needed booster. They also found that her tires had been installed wrong at the Mini place in Pensacola. (They are labeled left and right.) We were really impressed by the service here and feel they are very trustworthy and competent. Thank you!!!

They charge dogwater prices talking about screwing people over they charged me 500$ for a fan motor and I asked for them to do a fully System check to make sure everything is good then two months later my car breaks down and they charge me 780 for spark plugs and a Engine igniter when I asked around at other places it was around 300-400, this place is great if you wanna be screwed over

Didnt go here, but called asking about trailer tires. They didnt have any but the customer service was OUTSTANDING as he helped me figure out where to go locally and find tires.

I was sad that everytime I go my car acts fine and so they dont really know whats wrong with it.

Tuffy in Lynn Haven is the absolute best. They always make sure the job is done right the first time. Jason the GM treats everyone with respect and explains things very clearly. I have been using this Tuffy for over 15 years and will continue to use it for 15 more. I have moved across the state but I still bring my truck here when I travel back to town for visits because I trust them so much.

Quick and Great Service! As well as prices were impeccable. I was in a time crunch of 20 minutes to try and get my tire patched. They were able to see me as soon as I got there and I was out in LESS than 10 minutes. If y’all need any repairs done this is the place to go!

The Tuffy crew is always friendly and very helpful! They truly care about their customers and the services they provide. They have always gone above and beyond to help me out.When my vehicles have had issues, the problem and the repair process has always been explained so I could easily understand. They answer all my questions without rushing me. They dont try to up sell, they just diagnose the problem and repair it right the first time. They are good at what they do and I drive away with the confidence that my vehicles were worked on properly.

They’re often very, very busy - but they’re also very, very nice. If they can squeeze you in, they will. There’s a Starbucks next door so my plan when going to Tuffy has been to arrive as early as possible, drop off the car, then hang out at Starbucks with my laptop or a book and treat myself to something there. Since most mechanics don’t have Wifi in the waiting room (why??) the location of this Tuffy combined with how wonderfully nice they are is awesome.

Honest. Quality work. I had two visits. First one, I got my brakes fixed. On the second vehicle, they didnt charge me for brakes when I thought I needed them fixed as well. They found out what was wrong, told me, and then gave me the keys without charging me a penny. Highly recommend these guys.

I called your Lynn Haven, FL location and was told that the replacement of a set shocks that I furnished would cost $395 over the phone. When I showed up they wanted $499, I thought...that’s odd but I agreed as I had planned my day around getting this job done. When I showed back up to pick up my truck, they dropped an over $900 bill and I provided all of the parts. They only had possession on the vehicle for a little over 4 hours and I doubt their mechanics worked through lunch. We settled at over $600...I won’t return to any Tuffy Tire and Auto Service center!!!

Stopped in to see if they could remove a nail and plug a tire that was off the vehicle. Jumped right on it plugged the tire and mounted it back on my SUV in less than 10 minutes! Outstanding service and I asked how much for the service. No charge. Thanks Tuffy!!

This is hands down the BEST mechanics Ive ever had working on my car. I was going through a rough year financially and they would work with me each and everytime. They were honest with me. Not only did they tell me what was wrong with my car but took me out to the lift and showed me what was wrong. They even went the extra mile to drive me home while I waited on my repairs and picked me up when it was finished. THAT is what I call going over and beyond. No mechanic has EVER done that for me. The last good deed by Jason and his team, was they helped give my car one last check up before I drove across the country to AZ to start my new life. I even remember one of the guys saying a prayer for safe travels. I will never forget it. Im only sad that this team isnt here with me AZ. Its not often I see a mechanic team this honest and compassionate. We pulled in to Tuffy’s during an extended road trip and Dan, the tech there was excellent. He turned off the Maintenance Required warning light and explained exactly what it meant. We will always go to Tuffy’s first for any auto maintenance when We are in Lyn Haven, Florida.

Employees are very helpful and actually honest, which can be rare. Prices are reasonable and they take care of you fairly quickly. Theyre good about knowing when parts will arrive if ordered or what is available in house. Theyre focused on satisfying customers instead of making money, which is the correct attitude in my opinion.

Picked up a piece of metal in left rear tire on way to hospital to see our dad. Pulled in to Tuffys and they immediately repaired my tire. The staff are so nice and friendly with great service. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR SERVICE! My issue goes back to over 2 years ago. I took my car in to have the AC checked. They said I needed a new condenser fan and tried to charge me $500. $50 later from Amazon and it took me 15 minutes to change myself. Over the course of the next year and a half my AC wouldnt blow cold until 20 minutes into driving and sometimes it would cut out. When the cold air finally gave out completely, I held off on taking my car back in due to financial reasons. A month ago, I finally took it in because I have 2 children and this heat simply isnt safe. I asked to have the freon checked. 20 minutes and 3 mechanics later, the guy at the front desk says they checked the freon level, fan, wiring, relay, and compressor and everything was fine except the compressor was bad. They quoted me $1200 to fix it. My first red light was that you cant check the freon levels if the compressor isnt kicking on...My dad has been working on cars over 40 years but lives out of town so correlating schedules was tight. We finally get to take a look at my car and not only is the compressor working fine, but we find a loose wire on the center plug on the alternator and replaced the 6 dollar relay. Now, Im not sure if the loose wire is a contributing factor, but the wires had a small puncture hole, indicating that they checked the power to it. THESE PEOPLE ARE EITHER DUMBER THAN A BOX OF ROCKS, OR ARE COMPLETE SCAM ARTISTS TRYING TO PULL A SLICK ONE JUST BECAUSE IM A WOMAN! SORRY, NOT THIS CHICK! And I hope several read this and heed my warnings!

We noticed we had a small bolt in one of our tires. Pulled into Tuffy on a Saturday afternoon when most other places were closed. They were able to pull out the bolt, plug it and check air pressure in all of our tires. No charge! Super friendly and quick.

I have been going to this Tuffy (next to Starbucks in Lynn Haven) since 2009. Jason and Mike are two of the most talented, creative, and honest mechanics I have ever known. This is why it is hard to get in there sometimes! They have even given me rides home and offered me lunch when my car was down hard for major repairs. In my opinion they are the best in the business!

One of the most dishonest places to take your car. Car went in for a tire change, they ended up not being able to do it. The mechanic then took the wheel lock key that was in the center console. Upon returning to the store, the manager accused me of not looking hard enough, said they didnt touch the tires and therefore wouldnt have needed the key. It was only until the manager asked the mechanic that the wheel lock key was immediately found. This key would have cost around 400$ to replace and im not sure why the mechanic would have touched it in the first place as the wheels were never removed. Not sure what is going on here but I wont be back.

The amount of business they have reflects their superior service. I have been using this Tuffy location for years from regular scheduled maintenance to minor transmission work. Theyre always super busy but if you need your car back cuz its your only car, they work with you which is great because a lot of shops wont. And they remember you from the last time you were there and theyre just great guys and they have a good shop.

The tech did not even know about the coupons that they offered and told me Id have to come back tomorrow. I wasnt offered to schedule a time or anything. I seemed more of a bother I felt. Frankly I was a bit embarrassed because of how I was stared at from lobby customers as he spoke to me. I went right down to grease pro and got excellent service. Id recommend grease pro over Tuffy any day!
