Buying a new car is always stressful and many times buying from a dealer is just too high pressure - an experience that you’d rather not have. Seaview was actually a pleasant experience. They have fair pricing, and they were only slightly pushy. All in all we would recommend them because they give a few extras that you’d be hard pressed to get from a private party or other dealerships. Very thorough detailing, 90 day/3000 mile warranty on engine and major systems, anti theft system installation, free key replacement for 5 years, and they were pretty fast to work with. John was very easy and helpful and just a nice guy.
Today was amazing. Drove from Lakewood to Lynnwood to test drive a beautiful Honda Accord Sport. Our salesman Kennedy was awesome. He was knowledgeable, funny and easy going. He wasn’t pushy and was always polite. We had a great experience today with him and the rest of the team at Seaview Buick, we also drove away with a beautiful car. Went to look at a Subaru here recently. As I was inspecting the vehicle, I pulled the engine oil dipstick which was covered in coolant, which means the head gasket was blown. Any novice technician with a basic understanding would have noticed that.$4500 for a car that needs 2 grand plus of engine work. Scummy
Problem - Solution - Outstanding ExperienceWe had a problem with the transmission on our Suburban. The gears started slipping and to make matters worse, my fiancée and daughter were in route to the airport to drop off our Grandparents. My wife made it to the airport and waited for me to switch cars. On the way I decided to call the dealership we bought the Suburban from and they told me don’t come because they were too busy and wouldn’t get to it for a least a week. It wasn’t the response I was hoping for, but I did ask if I could go to any GM dealership. I found out that yes I can, so fortunately I had the opportunity for a new experience with a different GM dealership.It was 8 in the morning, so I wasn’t expecting a solution from a different dealership, especially after the call I had with the “Service” Advisor. Supply chain issues, COVID and a huge surge of people repairing their cars made me feel pessimistic about getting my Suburban fixed quickly. I was wrong, because I had the best experience from Justin Salvadena at Seaview GMC Auto Center. Justin was honest and told me that it might take some time to fix my Suburban, but he could have a tech take a look at my SUV. He wasn’t sure he could fix it the same day and offered me a rental just in case I had to wait until Monday. The moment I arrived Justin greeted me and had his tech (Bill) take a look at my Suburban. They told me they would get to work on fixing my car same day, but set the expectations that it might not be ready until Monday.Fast forward to 2pm SAME DAY, they fixed the problem, changed my oil and made a customer for life. I was so impressed that I thought it would be a good idea to write this experience out.Thank you Seaview Team!
Amazing dealership!! Never felt obligated to buy or even look at vehicle. We were in a hurry and had to pick our son up from school and they got us out super fast!! They even gave my wife a room to breast feed in, with no questions asked.Would definitely go back for my next vehicle!!Thanks guys!!
Completely laughable sales personnel. I wont name the salesperson here (I will in a private e-mail to their manager though). He showed up in a big hurry and we test drove a vehicle. We actually liked the car and we asked him to sit down and talk numbers and the most ridiculous thing happened. He didnt give us a price, refused to sit down with us and said that if were not serious about the vehicle were just wasting everyones time... So in the end we didnt get the actual price, we didnt discuss financing and we were shown out the door. Super unprofessional and unfriendly service. We laughed so hard with the shadiness of the whole thing. I really want to send this to GM and tell them that they lost out on a definite sale because their salesperson didnt even give us a price.

Had a few issues after purchasing my 2021 GMC Denali, primarily with the financing department and follow through with upgrades that were purchased. Guys in service helped me get out of town last Saturday. I appreciate it. I did not buy my Silverado there but adopted Seaview because of performance and reputation. They, in turn, adopted me. Important to note that I came to Seaview upon the recommendation of my Volvo service team. That was an excellent referral. Keith and crew are great! Have found in my 70 years that having a great service group is rare among mainstream car dealers.I do miss the special oil change group style of service previously offered by this team. Seems like that could be reinvented by creative management.
Shady! I would go somewhere else to buy a car. Heres my experience.I found a used vehicle here. The salesman gave us a price for the vehicle. I test drove it. Liked it, went inside to discuss pricing because I had a trade in.We go inside & sit at his desk. I tell him my trade in info. He goes off to his manager and comes back. Then he says actually the price I quoted you is not the price, its $6,000 more but since I feel bad I gave the wrong price my manager said I can do $4500 more.Who does that?????
Excellent service center. They apply discount coupons and service the car at reduced price in comparison to some other Buick GMC service centers in PNW. Their diagnostics is pretty thorough, give the right recommendations for parts change and do a very clean job. Have been using their services for the past 3+ years and will continue to get my car serviced by them.
Justin was great. Excellent communication with scheduling and picked up a portion of the rental car due to a long lead time with a part.My truck was clean and runs great.I would have given 5 stars but the day we picked the vehicle up it was sweltering on the building. They need AC in there fro the employees and customers.
Really wasn’t impressed with the service desk. When I brought it in at 8:00 in the morning on Friday I let them know the heater wasn’t working. The service desk asked me three times “it’s in for an oil change correct?” Each time I said no it’s the heater.He then told me it would be ready by the end of day or Saturday depending on what they find and that he would give me a call around noon to let me know what was going on and the amount. At 2:30 I still hadn’t received a call so I called in and he said they were really backed up and hadn’t looked at it. At 4:30 he called and said it was the cooling system and the battery was weak. I said go ahead and put in a new battery. He told me it wouldn’t be ready until Monday.Monday rolls around and the service desk calls me to tell me my battery was dead and I’d need a new one. I then reminded him we’d had this conversation and he was like “oh yeah”. Then he said my car still wasn’t fixed and they’d need until Tuesday. At this point I was pretty frustrated and told him they had my three days so far. He then curtly told me they don’t work on cars on Saturday and Sundays. I’m thinking you said it was going to be worked on Saturday but at this point I wasn’t going to bring it up. Picked it up Wednesday morning and just hope the mechanics were better than the service desk. Fingers crossed.I should give a shout out to Jorge the shuttle driver. So nice and remembered our conversation from Friday. I hope he is much appreciated there!
Do not shop here, they will sell you a used vehicle with faulty parts and claim they can’t help you because the mileage is too high. Why are you selling this vehicle then? I get it your taking a risk with used cars, but how does a transmission go out on a vehicle you “tested” within 2 weeks of owning it. Do better seaview, I will make sure that anytime I hear your name for buying a car to give people alternative options!!

Salesperson was friendly. I bought a used vehicle with no trade in and paid the asking price in cash. Finance department handled the paperwork in a timely manner. However, I was charged approximately $600 for some tracking numbers put on the vehicle. When I indicated I didnt want that I was told they do it on all their cars. Also, was charged for a lost key replacement service that was a $200+ that I didnt want either.In the process of arranging to pick up the vehicle I left a couple messages with salesperson (who later informed me the number on his card was a home number that didnt work?) So I called the sales manager and asked that he tell the salesperson the day I would be there to pick up the vehicle. I also talked to a person in the finance department.As I needed to get someone to bring me to the dealership ( an hours drive from my home) I needed to make sure all was set to go when I arrived. A couple days later, I received a call from the salesperson saying he was wondering when I would be picking up the car as he hadnt heard from me!!!Then, when I picked up the vehicle the gas tank was close to empty so I had to stop at the nearest gas station to be able to drive home.Dealership needs to hone their customer service skills !!! Very mediocre.

So I bought a car and that day on the way home we noticed the alignment was off. When I called them to let them know they said basically I have to wait 30 days for the warranty to kick in. I bought the best warranty you can and I guess they can guarantee the cars 30 days. So I figured OK will wait 30 days to get the alignment checked and fixed send a check engine light came on in the car basically shut down while I was driving. Annoyed and frustrated I sent an email and they got back to me quick and they said to come in and they can check it. I asked him on the phone he said it was 30 days with the alignment are we gonna have an issue with us they said no bring it on and will have them check the alignment and run a diagnostic check for the check engine light. I drove here and I was told they can’t do anything about it I have to wait 30 days. So basically I bought a car here and it didn’t even last week before issues came up. I’m glad I upgraded on the warranty so at least when the 30 days does hit I can have all this fixed and hope we don’t have to deal with this no more

The kid at the service counter of Seaview Buick GMC was an absolute unprofessional punk, and should NOT be allowed to interact with valued customers until if/when he is adequately trained in basic customer service and communication skills. Fortunately Keith, and the other professionals took over the point of contact role and did an excellent job as usual in carrying out my service experience.
Great experience from beginning to end for service. I had a number of issues after pulling my Sky Redline out of storage after 2+ years. Justin, in the Service Department, was extremely knowledgeable about how to address each issue even though Saturn is long gone. The work was even completed before expected and after taking it for a couple of drives, it feels amazing. This is the type of experience you hope to have but is hard to find.

I made my appointment two weeks ago to have four issues fixed. I dropped my vehicle off the night before. I received a call the following day at 3:30 letting me know my assessment was done. Even though they had two weeks to get the parts they had to do an assessment first? Now I’m on a waiting list till the parts come in. Of course this is all do to Covid or so I am told by Justin. Before leaving I asked if the lug nuts were checked ( which was one of the four items on the list) It was deer to headlights with Justin. I’m not satisfied with the service and multiple trips to the dealership to have this taken care of
Only problem was your price to replace a $35 headlamp was $100. For $50 I would have had you do it. Your price was $135 and I bought one and it took 10 minutes to replace it.

This was our first my first time buying a car to dealership so I was a little unprepared for everything. They were very patient and understanding and they even helped us get all the paperwork that we did not have prepared filed it and turned in. Recently bought a vehicle from Seaview and didnt make it 2 weeks without the transmission going out. The output shaft is completely stripped. In trying to communicate with the folks at the dealership, I was told the best they could do for me was to offer a $1000 trade-in value on the vehicle to put towards a new vehicle.I just spent $8k on a car not to make it 2 weeks without having issues and having to spend another $6 on repairs. The $1000 trade-in would put me $7k in the hole with the first car to then spend another $8-10k on another car that I cant have faith will work properly considering the first one was in poor shape.Im aware that you take a chance on a used car anywhere, but I bought the vehicle in good faith that it was fully inspected and running well. And things happen, cars have trouble. But TWO WEEKS?! Thats unacceptable.Please consider looking elsewhere for a vehicle. The sales staff does not care about you or the life of your vehicle, they only want your money and to wash their hands of anything going wrong.UPDATE: Since the business wanted to respond to correct the record, lets do that. After taxes and fees, I paid $7559. Okay, so not quite $8000, but certainly closer to that than the sticker price that they want to specify (I know taxes and fees are out of their hands). The As-Is waiver I signed was not explained to me. It was literally desrlcribed to me as were not going to put a swimming pool in your car. Naive and negligent on my part, definitely, but they cannot claim that it was explained to me, if it wasnt. I am also aware that that absolves them of any legal recourse, but its still bad business when a customeris literally begging you to help them and you tell them your solution is for them to give you more money.I also took the vehicle to a Toyota dealership a few days after purchasing and they told me to contact the dealership because the transmission was showing signs of being on its way out, I just didnt have the time to call them earlier. I find it extremely hard to believe that Seaview had no idea there were issues when they sold me the vehicle.I should probably note that this was my first time purchasing a vehicle (in case that wasnt already clear) and Ive certainly learned my lesson dealing with these folks.

We found the car we wanted for my wife on the internet featuring Seaview Buick-GMC in Lynnwood, WA. It is a 2016 VW Tiguan Tsi 4-Motion. It looks and drives like everything as advertised and looks great! The sales Staff was helpful and assisted us with the purchase. They werent hard to bargain with as we did get a lot of value for our money. The finance dept. was professional and knowledge and we were qualified through GM Finance. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for a clean pre-owned vehicle and doesnt mind traveling a little further for value. These guys were completely unprofessional.We went to look at a vehicle and decided to buy it. They responded lets do it in the morning. I dont know any car dealership that tells a buying customer to come back in the morning. Turns out they had already planned on it selling for more from another dealership during the night. They tricked us into coming back so they could sell it for more out from under us. I repeat do not buy from these guys. They are sneaky to make a few more bucks. They didnt even apologize and had the audacity to say too bad but we can buy it back at the new price and sell it to you for more. DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS!

After an awful experience at another dealer, I contacted Seaview and they were very helpful and communication was great. Answered my questions quick and had the vehicle I wanted. Service reps are knowledgeable and helpful. Oil change price is very reasonable and includes several safety checks, tire rotation and fluid top ups. Service rep called me up to confirm when work was done. Easy to make appointments with just one or two day wait. Overall positive experience.

I initially posted a glowing 5star review but since that time by Yukon has been at the dealership for the last 3 weeks with no end in sight. I had a brake light come on, when I brought it in I was told they needed a part, it had been ordered and would be there the next day. Since that time I have been told that part is not available and they cant tell me when it will be. I asked for them to pull one from an incoming vehicle or one off the manufacturing line but was told those are spoken for. I just cant wrap my head around the fact that prospective GMC owners are more important than current ones.I think the Yukon is great if I could ever get the opportunity to drive it again. Have tried numerous times to get in contact with the owner of Seaview but get ignored every time.I run a contracting business and if I had a client having this much trouble I would be reaching out personally even if there was nothing I could do.Not happy at this point!
Went in today to look at a car..I loved the car and was willing to pay for the extended warranty with a minor drop on the sticker price since I was paying cash and not financing. Took it to our mechanic during the test drive and he noticed the tires were shot, as in unsafe to even be driving on. We told them the tires needed to be replaced, and they added them to the price to try to make US pay for them! I would never do business with this shady place!

I was trying to purchase a vehicle to send overseas and explained to the guy that I was transferred to that I didn’t need the car registered. The person blew me off and said they can’t wholesale the vehicle. I tried reasoning with him to see how I can buy it, and just said no and hung up on me. I called again and hoped to be transferred to a Manager. The same guy picked up and said I just spoke to you and it’s not gonna happen so that’s the end of the conversation and hung up on me again.In the year’s I’ve been doing business I have never had such a negative and gross experience. The owner of this business should address this kind of behavior asap. If you’re having a bad day maybe you shouldn’t be dealing with customer’s.Very sad I had cash in hand to buy!!

I had a scheduled appointment at 11 AM. I checked my Suburban in at 10:40 AM, and was told that diagnostics would be run on the SRS due to a warning light. At 12:45 PM I hadnt heard anything. I went up to the service desk and was told that my paperwork was put in a queue, and had not even been taken into the garage yet. I then had to wait another 45 minutes before tasting was completed and was told that the completion of the repair would have to await a part, so that if replacement of the driver side seatbelt was required it could be done. The part order re being a couple of days out, I was given the car back and I am now awaiting a call for the scheduling of a return appointment.It is my opinion that when an appointment is attended on time, the scheduled service should be performed at that time, and not put the vehicle in a queue to be dealt with later than scheduled.
We had the best experience ever! The car we ended up buying wasn’t even on our radar, but became quite intriguing once the salesperson, Gabriel, gave us the scoop. Unfortunately when we went back to make the purchase our original salesperson was not working that day. However, Erik jumped right in and helped us on his behalf and was eager to do so. The service was with a smile from top to bottom. We appreciated everyone treating our kids, for whom the car was for, as real people. Thank you for a wonderful experience all around. Justin in service was excellent! Vehicle was ready when promised. However, I spent over $1800 for repair and my car wasn’t washed or vacuumed. I also own an Audi. They wash my car with an oil change!

I recently took my new GMC 3500 in for its first oil change and service. The staff was courteous and provided timeline for service. I had an issue where the backup camera was staying on after going into drive. This repair required an extended stay. Staff was able expedite the part needed for the repair. I have had the truck back for several days now and have not encountered the issue again. Thanks to the Seaview service team for a job well done!

It took a little longer than it should have for an oil change. I had an appointment at 1:00 and they said it should be done by 3:30/4, instead it was not ready until 5:00. But they are friendly and seem to have good service.

My car was in the service department for almost one month after promising it would be ready in one week. Every time I called I got a different story. In addition they would not tell me how much I owed until I arrived to pick the car up.They performed work I didn’t authorize and the bill ended up over 4K.Needless to say I will never go back and cannot recommend Seaview.
6 hours to change the oil in my truck after waiting 2 weeks for an appointment.

I had a great experiance @ Seaview GMC. I met with Jaysen who ended up buying my car to get me into a lease and that was super easy and much appreciated. Erik who is a very funny guy and very polite helped by showing me all my options and working with me to get me into the right vehicle for what I needed it for. They worked with me and not with a pushy demeanor like other dealerships Ive been to in the past. They kept it light and very informative, and the transaction although a little lengthy ( but not a bad way to spend my rainy Saturday) was proffessional and pretty easy. As far as other reviews knocking this place, you know, your walking into a dealership to buy a car. The dealership is there to make money and also cover the costs of the vehicle your looking to buy. There WILL be extra fees thats just a fact! Its the dealerships responsibility to be transparent on extra fees and I myself had to ask a couple times what this or that was beacuse yes its a a lot of information to process. with that said, The consumers reasponsability to look over and ask questions as to why this fee and that fee. Yes they have an anti-theft device fee of $600 that they put on all newer vehicles to protect their merch and it comes with a lot of benefits that they have posted explaining what it is and why its there on every desk. It makes sense that price would have to be carried over to the consumer, thats economics and thats just the way it is. You dont go to a resturant and ask for the onions, pickles and lettuce to be taken off and expect it to be a cheaper burger do you? No ...they are still going to charge you what the price says. But when you add up all the perks, the free for life oil changes, rebates the ease of a transaction (a large one @ that) etc. It seems this place makes the experiance worth it. Thanks to the team that helped me and I would recommend Seaview GMC to my family and friends. Theres only one beef I have with Erik. ...Wheres my cheeseburger!?
There was a serious lack of communication. When we dropped off the vehicle to have it looked at, we were called about what the problem is and we gave the OK to move forward. After that, they ordered the part and when we didnt hear anything in the timeframe we were given, we called in to find out what is happening. They then told us it was delayed and would find out when they could get it. Again nothing so checked in again. We were then told it should be in by the beginning of Feb which now puts it several weeks that the dealership had our vehicle. Again, Feb 1st came and went and we finally called again to be told it should be there but they dont know where the part is. It finally came in a couple days later and the vehicle was finally fixed. When we go the car back, we were surprised that it wasnt at least washed. Maybe you dont do that when you hang onto a customers car for nearly a month but every other dealer we have dealt with in the past even gives the car a wash for a simple oil change. We spent $3k, had to chase everyone down to get answers of what is going on, and it took about a month.
