Ed did the alignment on my older Chevy C1500 for me after it wore the edges of my tires out. He got it done quickly and nailed the centering on the steering wheel. Im really happy with how it drives now.We talked about off-roading a bit and it turns out hes an avid off roader as well. Ill be bringing my Jeep here in the future when it needs an alignment.
I had this one issue with my car that no one could figure out. I went to numerous shops, and was told it was one thing or another. But after correcting those (now irrelevant) issues, it never fixed this particular noise I was hearing. I needed an alignment and just so happened to run into this good priced shop. I decided to ask him if he could look into the noise. He hopped in the car, drove forward a bit, then backwards, then forwards, and backwards right to me. Got out and popped the hood. This long lasting, irritating problem, was simply a loose screw under the hood. You have absolutely no idea how relieved I was to have this fixed. He just knew. And thats why I recommend this shop. You want someone to listen to your car. You want someone to understand the sounds you describe about your car that are obviously not mechanically correct. This shop is a genuine, professional, get right to it kind of place. Will definitely be making this the place I go!
Service was quick, they didnt try to push additional repairs that were needed too hard, but did make sound recommendations. The technician nailed my front toe adjustment after Id replaced a handful of front suspension parts. Definitely recommend!
Ed and his crew have been good to me for years. To have a professional check your car out for $10 is unheard of. I always bring him the most random noises and this last one was no different. They spent a fair amount of time looking it over and tried tightening my axel nut to get my wheel bearing seated better. Ever since, the random clicks have stopped. Thankful for these guys!
Great service, very knowledgeable and skilled guys working here. They get done what nEEds to be done - at definitely fair prices. And they explain things thoroughly and in a detailed manner, which we greatly appreciated.
I had called several places before finding this one; actually I had an alignment scheduled two days prior at a Firestone near the west side, and when I was on my way to that appointment, I called to inform them (Firestone that is) I would be a couple minutes late, and they couldn’t find my scheduled appointment (which I even had a confirmation number for). Needless to say, I declined to reschedule and thankfully ended up finding Alignment Pros Plus instead.Very professional and knowledgeable on the phone; got me in quickly, provided a detailed diagnosis and clearly explained everything and what options I had. The service was the actually the best price I had been quoted compared to the other places I had called, and didn’t take long at all. I’ll never go anywhere else but here for these services!Great business 👍
Went in for an alignment check, came out with a new tie rod. Quick, courteous and reasonably priced. Cars riding smoothly now
Affordable, professional. Had it done same day
Great service! Steering wheel was pulling left and shaking a lot at highway speeds- a quick front end alignment and tire rotation solved the problem. Super fast and very reasonable prices, thanks!
Well done! Well recommended! Im so pleased with the work he did on my cruze! Much more reasonably priced than other shops. You should check out the waiting area! Ed is a skilled technician! I would definitely go back! Very efficient!
Finally made my appt. Received excellent service in a timely manner. GREAT place to go!
Called and got me in the same day. Great work and super value. Honest work and friendly excellent service. Saved me money from other shops. Highly recommend.
Wow. Just wow. ED tried to rip me off. $160 for an alignment are you kidding me?! Tried claiming blains farm and fleet probably isnt ASE certified but they definitely are. Go to blains farm and fleet. Costs $73 for everything toe, camber, caster, machine check, plus tax! Update: went to another shop and said I need a couple new parts before they go ahead with the alignment. Told them ill go ahead and replace it myself. And get back to them when I do so. He was happy to give me information on what needs to be done and why.UPDATE: got an alightment done at blains farm & fleet. All 4 of my struts and inner/outer tie rods were shot no doubt. Replaced myself. Very pleased with their service. Dont go to cv pros. Shop around elsewhere.
Thrilled with the service Ed at Alignment Pros Plus (formerly CV pros) provided. My car was having some serious issues and I rolled up to his shop about 20 min before closing time with no appointment or a heads up. Ed listened to my concerns, put my car up on the lift to have a look, and walked me through what the issue was and roughly what the cost would be. He let me keep the car there overnight and got it fixed up the next day for a reasonable price! The world needs more good guys like Ed in it!
Easy to work with. Ed is very competent. He did not try to sell me anything extra. His prices were competitive. The CV joints are fixed - I am happy.
I got my brakes fixed there and less than one month later I had to go back also after they fix the brakes the back break started going out again so I do not recommend these people to anybody I know their rating say they do a good job but my experience was very bad from them
Family owned, knowledgeable staff
Ed is a great guy and great prices definitely going back.
Thrilled with my experience. I went in thinking I had a more complicated issue than I really had. CV Pros gave me an HONEST assessment of the issues with my car rather than what would cost the most (i.e. my suspension system wasnt as problematic as I thought). I would recommend to anyone.
Went in for 2 new c V axles and a clunking noise in the front end. They replaced the axles and two sway bar links, and my van now drives like new. They did the work in two and a half hours for $100.00 less than anyone else in town. Very pleasant experience!
Been there a couple times and always good service. Now I had a warranty issue and didnt even know it. They stood behind their work no questions asked. Highly recommend over the big shops.
Went there today and had really quick service and a nice exchange with the manager, Ed. I actually came in expecting to need a pricey wheel bearing replacement, and he found a nut was just stuck in my rotor, causing the noise issue I was having. He could have easily tried to oversell me, but gave me an honest assessment instead. I appreciate that, and the fast service. Five stars!
Independent shop, friendly, knowledgeable staff, great service.Recently had my S80 Volvo aligned there. The owner knew the vehicle - not something you often see when you drive a Volvo into a shop. They did a much better job than the brand-name place down the road.
Awesome service. This place will provide only the best service, giving you the facts and will not sell you something unless you really need it or request it. Ed is upfront and honest!
Went in thinking my CV needed replacing based on the noise and where it was coming from. tech told me that its coming from a worn brake pad - its the indicator. I told them I can do that and I thought they looked fine for a couple more thousand miles, but they advised that you cants always get the same sounds when you jack the car/van up because the weight moves etc. advised on some other things and when I asked them to charge me for a inspection - they told me not to worry about it - guy at the front desk said thats what we are here for. recommended by someone and now I know why.
I have always received great service and a very fair price from CV Pros for over twenty years. Management has always answered my questions and provided a clear answer. I couldnt recommend them more highly.
Honest reliable reasonable service!
Love they work
They have great customer service and they do quality work at a fair price. Id recommend them for alignment or any front end work.
Really pleased with the experience, work done quicker than expected.
Wow.. recently picked up an older Subaru from a private owner.. brought it in to CV Pros for some alignment tuning.. AND THE RESULTS WERE FING AMAZING !! So happy ! Good-guy pricing and top-notch service. :)
Fast, affordable
This place just waisting time and money!!!! I he did my alignment twice and still same problem!!! DONT WAIST YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!
I went in for an alignment because my car was pulling to the left. The owner said the reason was because my upper control arms, even though both good, were two different brands and did not match, so one had to be replaced. He quoted me $230 for the part (upper control arm.) I looked online and found it many places for $75. I asked him why it was so expensive, and he said You have to pay for my $68,000 alignment machine. I said Then you should charge more for the alignment. We went back and forth like this for a while, and he actually made me very uncomfortable. But in my experience when the boss is a jerk usually the employees are cool, so I told him to go ahead. The quote was $460 for one upper control arm and an all wheel alignment. They did a pre and post test of the alignment, and it is graded with Green, Yellow and Red for what is good, marginal, and what is bad. They were unable to correct the Camber on both my front and rear wheels, but he said not to worry about it.My car still pulled to the left, though not as bad.I looked above the front wheels, and the boots on my struts were pulled up all the way to the top, to allow dirt to get into the struts. And the new upper control arm has a ball joint in it, and it just didnt look right, so I took it to a mechanic I trust, and he said THERE WAS NO GREASE IN THE NEW BALL JOINT. It wasnt just low. They come with zero grease in them. The new mechanic said that the new ball joint would have destroyed itself in less than a year. The new mechanic swapped my front wheels, and now it tracks straight. Two days later one of my hubcaps flew off and was lost because it had not been put on properly. This cost me $40 to replace.
Great job
I went to Zimbrick Grand Canyon at Christmastime to find out why my car was creaky when I turned the wheel or drove slow. I was told it was the control arm and parts were ordered but when it was getting repaired they didnt know if it was that. And wanted my car for two days to figure it out. I dont think so! Fast forward to CV Pro who said the bushings were loose and tightened them, charged 10% of what Zimbrick quoted and had me out in an hour. THANK YOU!
Two years ago I brought my car in to CV Pros because the front bearing was going out. They were very nice and replaced the bearing as promised. However, even though it was an old car, they were very unprofessional and/or very dis-honest to not tell me that my frame was rusted out and not worth repairing. The rusted out spot was incredibly obvious and right next to the repair, so they have no excuse. The one good thing is that CV-Pros said I should take it to a mechanic to get another issue checked out. The other honest mechanic honestly told me that I should just junk it and not invest another penny...too late. Being $400 short, it was more difficult to replace the car immediately, and THE FRAME BROKE 2 months later as the other honest mechanic told me it probably would. This could have caused a car accident, but thankfully it happened when I was turning sharply on a round-about near my house.
Took me right in and service was great and friendly .... Thank you Ed 😄
Dont go there unless you are sure that you have axle or cv boots problem. I have a rear wheel drive car and asked them to check on a grinding noise. They said it was wheel bearing and noise would be gone after they put a new wheel bearing on it. I waited for few hours and told me it was differential. I went in there my car was making noise on rear wheel not to get wheel bearing fixed. but billed me for $400 and told me why wheel bearing was bad. And sad part is grinding noise was still there. Walk in full of hair and walk out bald

We moved to Madison from Georgia a little over 5 years ago. As soon as we got settled in our new city, our Trooper started making that click click sound. I was pleasantly surprised to find an auto repair shop that focused primarily on shocks, struts, alignment, etc. I figured, why not take it to a true expert. Not only did the crew at CV Pros get our Trooper repaired and back on the road, it was shockingly affordable!!! I have continued to take our familys vehicles to the crew at CV Pros, and they have consistently done an amazing job with the repairs. Ive had estimates from other auto mechanics for similar work, and CV Pros has done the job for a fraction of the cost, and in one situation it was done for almost $1500 less than what was quoted at one of the general auto repair shops!!! The guys there are honest, good educators and dont treat me like Im ignorant in regards to automobiles just because Im a woman. If I have a problem with my car that CV Pros cant fix, I will still go to them for advice because I trust them with my car, and with keeping my family safe when were on the road! Thanks so much CV Pros!!!
Happy with the work and the staff, plus they had a Bucky Book coupon.
Good food yummy Pizza burgers
Fast service, friendly people, good prices. the work I had done there has been holding up great!
Good prices, good work, good staff, i will go back again.
Very fast quality work was in and out in less then a hour replacing 2 cv axles
Bad deal/ filthy dirty little shop. Went in because car was pulling to the left after hitting a curb. He quoted me 59.95 over the phone. I explained to him it was pulling and would like that fixed. He put the car on his machine and came back with a printout, which he charges 19.95 for if you decide to not go along with the repair. You could hardly read the printout, as the printer was out of ink. I told him I would like it fixed, when he totalled up the cost, he added a 8.00 shop fe that was never mentioned beforehand, so it came out to around 80.00 and the car still pulls exactly the same as before I took it in. The owner was the only one working there, and they had absolutely no business, for a good reason. Save yourself from this bull.
As most people before me, I guess if you take it here knowing full well its your CV joints/axles, sure theyre probably pretty good.I thought mine were going out cause I heard a popping sound. I had a schedule with a dealership that wanted like 700 bucks for a left CV and 400ish for the right (2013 Ford Escape.) CV Pros wanted significantly less so I took it there because theyd look at it for free and if it was the CVs I was going to have them work on it.They came out after waiting for half an hour and told me it wasnt my CVs, it was something else entirely. The bearing blah blah blah above my suspension was going out. Waited 20 minutes for him to get me a quote and plopped down 1200 dollars worth of parts and labor. Said when I turn my suspension was binding up and eventually its all going to seize up.New struts. New springs, New bearing kits, new sway bar and some other stuff I forget.I left mortified that I was going to have to find a way to pay for it. Talked to a friend at work who knows about cars and we were talking. It dawned on me, I know what bad suspension feels like, my car only has 68K miles, no way in hell I have bad suspension, it rides perfect still. Why would my suspension binding up even mean my suspension is bad, thatd be a bearing issue. I didnt realize it at the time, but bearing kits were in the list.So I took it over to my normal mechanic I have do my oil changes. Kens Auto. I sit down and talk to him about getting it in to have it looked at. He asked me what was wrong. I told him in detail, every little detail I could. He chuckled and said no..your suspension is fine. Explained the bearing plates above my spring just get dry and as the spring gets pressue on it while in the parking lot turning, it just pops a little. He quoted me 700 dollars to fix it.And then told me and you dont even need to fix it, either just live with the noise or get an oil can spout with some oil and put some oil on the top and itll work itself into everything and the noise should go away, do that and if it doesnt work then schedule an appointment. Not even CLOSE to needing 1200 dollars in fixes.CV Pros can eat it. I dont know if theyre just a bunch of scummy liars thatll throw crap on your plate and try making you eat it or theyre just absolutely stupid and dont know their butt from their hands.
Got my brakes changed here. Tires were misaligned/unbalanced and now a few months later one of my tires came loose because they failed to put it back correctly. Avoid this place.
My car was almost out of gas and I couldnt get the door to the gas cap open. I started driving down East Washington Avenue and stopped at the first car repair place, which was CV Pros. Although this was not their normal type of repair, they had empathy for me and spent about 10 minutes on it getting it open so I could then fuel up. Thank you CV Pros!
Do not go there. We plan on taking leagl action against them.
Only place to go for CV work. Very honest and fair
Very professional, completed work per schedule and price.
Excellent service
