While I am not new to brazilian waxes, this was my first one at European Wax Center, and I will only be going here from now on. I saw Kiera, she was awesome, book an appointment with her! I was in and out in 15 minutes with a perfect wax! I have had it take so much longer at other places. Will go here for the speed.

Marissa is very professional, and is so kind and understanding of any questions you may have. She makes sure you’re comfortable with her and the process, and especially for those new to waxing it’s an invaluable experience to go to her. Absolutely 100/10 would recommend to anyone!

I got a full bikini wax and maybe I’m just a big baby but it was so painful. I felt like she was rushing through and it didn’t feel personable service at all. It hurt so bad and I bled so much, makes me super nervous to ever get waxed down there again :(

Did a good job fixing my caveman brow, but not in a way that looks like a just got my brows waxed.

In the past I have loved my experience at EWC but my most recent experience makes me hesitant to go back. A few weeks ago I went in for a Brazilian wax. The esthetician was in a rush and applied multiple strips at once. It felt like there was not good technique being used because the wax was way more painful than usual. A few days after my wax, I noticed I was covered in bumps and ingrown hairs. It has been over a month now and I am still dealing with the painful ingrown hairs from my most recent wax.

Really great first time experience. Super straight forward and pleasant. I enjoyed the service and would definitely return.

I was here visiting from Memphis, TN and was SUPER nervous about getting my wax done! I’ve tried several times before but was unsuccessful! In spite of Covid they make every conscious effort to ensure the safety of the guest and I really value that consideration & thoughtfulness! However, I really have to rave about my wax specialist Jess K! I’d never gotten waxed before and Jess made it such a great experience! She made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process and really just made it fun! Needless to say, I scheduled my second appointment and will be back for appointments to come! Would definitely recommend Jess K if it’s your first time!!!

If youve never had a professional waxing service done before, EWC is the place to go. Jessica at EWC on State Street made my first professional waxing experience relaxing and educational. She was extremely professional and I would highly recommend her to other first timers.

This was my first time here....the receptionist was very helpful with Answering questions I had....i saw Erin, she helped make my appointment really comfortable and talked to me through the appointment..gave me little tips here n there for the future and recomended products that may help down the road! I love going in to European wax center. Everyone is very welcoming and professional, if you do go to this center I 100% recommend booking an appointment with Sesha! She does an amazing job waxing and whether this is your first time or you have had waxes before Sesha is perfect, she does it in a quick way without missing anything and i always feel comfortable and satisfied when i leave.

Honestly I came in for one simple wax in March and go back every month ever since. The process gets easier and easier every month and its such a clean and easy experience that takes literally 10 minutes. Kari is amazing, she made the experience not awkward at all and now I feel like shes my monthly best friend. hahaha. She definitely knows what shes doing and the rest of the staff seems to be friendly and professional also!

PSA: I ran by mid-morning today (Thursday, May 21st) and saw about ten people sitting inside the front of the store filling out paperwork, and I didnt see a single person wearing a mask. If they dont care about their employees safety, will they care about yours?

I am surprisingly satisfied with my eyebrows. I havent gone to a salon for over two years and been doing my own eyebrows because I had a bad experience with the last person who waxed it. Sarah did such a great job with it. I told her I want my natural shape and just want it cleaned up and thats exactly what she did. This is probably the best eyebrows Ive had. So happy I gave this place a chance. Will definitely be returning!

Its been around a year since I last came here for my waxing. I dont know why I ever stopped coming!! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by two very polite and wonderful ladies. I was a early and they were able to get me in before my scheduled time. Rachel, was very polite and talked and walked me through everything she was doing. I never laughed and felt so at ease while getting a wax!!! She gave me wonderful before and after care instructions. Im leaving for Florida in April and I have already booked my daughter and I appointment with Rachel...Im super impressed with the front staff patience as I tried to schedule my upcoming appointment with me changing dates and adding on services. Kudos to all staff involved!!

I’ve been going to EWC for about 2-3 years on and off, the ladies at the front desk are always warm and welcoming. Every tome I book, I ALWAYS go see Sesha! She’s super nice, knows what she’s doing, equipment is clean and she makes you feel comfortable. If I could rate her 10 stars I would.

I love Kristi. She gives me the best waxes I have ever had and is so thorough and takes her time to make sure everything is neat and taken care of. The reason I didnt give 5 stars is because of some of the receptionists. They are unclear, have scheduled me for things I didnt ask for, and sometimes just rude.

A very clean, beautiful, and modern wax center! At some salons, the waxing pots can be a complete disaster but at the EWC, everything is spotless. I love the sleek, modern look. The receptionists, wax specialists, and manager are all super nice people that truly cater to their guests!

I was extremely surprised and happy with all of my visit. My first eyebrow wax was free, and I think they did an amazing job. It was less painful thank most waxing places, and I feel the charcoal wax really left my skin with a smooth finish. Im really particular about my eyebrows, and I have to say I loved what they did here. Prices are great and so is the service!

My First time going . First Time is supposed to be $25 but I paid $51. When I left I felt fine once I got home I examined my self and as I wiped I was bleeding . I still had lots of hair at the bottom of my lips . Also purple wax was still stuck to me . Never coming back again 😤😤

Went to the European Wax Center on State Street for the first time yesterday, and got an eyebrow wax with Kristi. She did a great job, my brows look amazing! Will definitely return for future services.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Love the hard wax! Wouldnt go back to soft wax ever again. One thing they could improve on is the lighting in the rooms. Other than that I think its great!

My visits to EWC started rough as I had Kari and did not enjoy my experience. She worked hard to obviously up-sell me and even made me feel self conscious enough to pay for more services. I did not enjoy Kari or her waxing services, at all. However, after giving it one more shot, I was happy I did when I had Sam as my waxing specialist. Sam worked carefully, well, and proved that she wanted to make me feel confident in her work and in myself. I will go back to Sam every time as I feel she did a great job of changing my views on the European Wax Center. So thanks Sam for your hard work and friendliness, you are the reason I will continue to go back to EWC.

Kari waxed my eyebrows (my first time) last week and I was so happy with her service and the results! Ive always been afraid to wax them worrying about pain or poor shaping, but I couldnt have been more wrong! The wax they use is great and Kari expertly applied and removed. She had me take several looks along the way to make sure it was what I wanted, tweezed any strays and trimmed as well - which I had no idea was a thing! And my skin hardly reacted, which was wonderful. The first time free eyebrow wax was the icing on the cake - Ill be back!!

The first time I went it was AWESOME! My brows were in fleek! I tried to use the same person this time, but she was no longer with the company. I tried someone else, but I was left asymmetrical and misshapen with wisps of wax in my hair. The company itself is well run and clean though.

Worst Wax Experience ever!!!!!! I have gotten my bikini line waxed before and it should not hurt that bad. The European Wax Center uses some sort of blackish hard wax. Some girl with braces did my wax. I know for a fact that you are supposed to rip quickly so that the hair goes away FAST! She SLOWLY pulled the hair off with the wax so that I felt EVERY SINGLE HAIR being ripped off of my body! My skin was very red. I could see blood where she ripped the hair out! This has never happened when I got a bikini wax at other places. She also went over the waxing area twice, she said with hard wax you can do that. Anyways very sloppy job, there was tiny hairs left, and she left some wax on my body. It hurt so bad, I just left it alone. I went to Aveda before they were cheaper and did a better job, smh.
