I will be honest, I felt like getting my money was their primary purpose. Let me explain.My service advisor, Troy Ahrens, was attentive with my questions at the beginning. We email mostly and he took care in arranging service with my 2018 Encore. I needed a loaner and he got that. After service was done, I stop by and he basically pointed me to the cashier without a word on what was done. He didnt follow up as I had to reach out with some concerns. Now after that I had to see if a part for my mirror came as I wanted to try to get this resolved. He did got the part and even tried to put it on. I came back next day and ask for a refund which was given. My other issue, TWICE I mentioned I had to attend a funeral, which was why I had to schedule the day I did, not one word. Let me say this, in customer service, empathy and active listening do matter. I was going to consider Zimbrick for future business, but this left a taste I will avoid in the future.

I brought my car here for service. They had me make an appointment I dropped my car off at 8:30 in the morning and was told that it should be done by the end of the day he’ll call me with a quote if it’s not covered underneath warranty. My car ended up sitting in the shop with no work being done on it. Not even a diagnostics for 10 hours the service member who is helping me Stewart did not mind to give me a call to update me on what was going on with the car to let me know I’ll take another day no nothing. I even called and left a message for him around 4 PM to get an update his voicemail said he left at 4:30 I ended up having to pick up my car with no work being done. Very poor Communication skills and customer service at this zimbrick

I was really unhappy with my recent service at Zimbrick Buick and GMC. I had scheduled time and coordinated via phone to have an estimate completed for some work while getting other standard oil and tire service. I have had similar estimates done while getting routine maintenance in the past and it usually did not extend my appointment time, but even if this did, the service manager assured me my car would be ready for my appointment. I was instead charged for an inspection, which I didn’t ask for, and which pushed my appointment time over, to where I missed another appointment that I had mentioned to the service manager. Not only did I remind the service manager with 25 minutes to spare that I would need to leave shortly, but when my car finally rolled around 30 minutes later, he proceeded to check in another guest, let me car get grabbed by the car wash person, pushing me over the appointment time, and delaying me even further. I had called ahead to let my next appointment know I would be late, but I had limited time to make the appointment.I found out at the checkout, while I was already late for an appointment, that I was charged for service I didn’t sign off on. “Service” that was not clarified upon check in, did not intend to incur, and don’t intend to follow up with considering the experience I had at the dealership/service center. I will be writing a few honest reviews, as well as properly reviewing your service via the survey. It will be far from “satisfactory”, let alone something like “exemplary”. I waited a few days after to avoid any review being expletive-ridden.I was originally excited to find a decent dealership in the Madison area, being new here and having less than great experience at the Bergstrom down the road. Now that I’ve had such an experience, I’ll probably be traveling outside of town just to get timely and decent service for my car and future GM vehicles. At this point I’d probably warn off anyone considering more than basic service, and make sure they know it would take more than an hour and a half for an oil change/tire rotate.Your shop seemed to be running well, so I’m not sure if there was just a level of miscommunication between the staff, or poor management of teams, but I would probably not trust the service manager I dealt with to get anything done in a timely, or appropriately priced manor. Not only was I overcharged for “work” I didn’t want done, I was then urged to quickly consider the time for parts to be ordered and service to be scheduled while already running late. The service I planned to receive was also not reviewed…then again, already late and ignored for another guest or two.Go elsewhere.

I found my new SUV online, and came in to test drive it after having a terrible experience at Carmax (they delivered a different car than what was shown online). I had gone to Carmax because I didn’t want the traditional car sales environment that I had heard of. Zane and Erica were so helpful, professional and made buying my new car easy! There were almost no sales pitches, except added warranty…but that was really for my benefit. I will be telling everyone how wonderful this team is! I also feel like I got a fair price for my transaction.

I work night shift and being able to communicate through text worked out perfect for me. I am beyond happy with my purchase. I had a 1:30 pm oil change appointment on Friday September 24th which I normally would wait for it but i couldn’t this time. So I thought I would drop it off the day before so I could for sure get my car by 3:30 on Friday, I called at 3:30 and talked with Joe and he told me it’s wasn’t even in and apparently he miss understood what I was doing. I told him when I dropped it off that I wanted to bring it in early because I couldn’t wait for it. I assumed my appointment was still happening so I ended up having to pay over the phone and pick it up the next day. Cost a lot of extra time and gas so I’m not happy at all that happened.

With a battery that died in my underground parking space on a Friday before a 3-day weekend, my son-in-law came to my aid and jump started the car and followed me to Fish Hatch just before closing time for the holiday. Once reopened, a battery replacement was done and my daughter, delivered me back to Zimbrick so I could pick up my repaired auto. It was a last-minute emergency intake on my vehicle, but everything turned out fine.

I walked in, knew what I wanted and 2 days later picked up new car. This is the 3rd new car I have bought. Great customer service. Erica is so quick and pleasant. One suggestion is that you should discuss options for “extras” before picking up your car so you don’t have to bring it back in. Just an inconvenience.

One of the few good things to come from the Pandemic is the way we negotiated the lease for my Encore GX. All was done through email. No long waiting while the Sales Manager was consulted. GREAT service at drop off- took vehicle inside on weekend when service was not open. Headlights did not function when brought in. Tech cited an issue with aftermarket plow but said the headlights were working again. The drive home was very dark. Now dealing with GM and plow people pointing at each other for fault on a vehicle with 24000 miles on it.

I live in Three Lakes, WI almost 4 hours away. I would normally NOT shop and buy outside of my local area as I am a business owner and am a staunch promoter of live local / buy local..... however the truck I wanted was in high demand at the end of 2020 and no one in the north had one for sale. Searching the GMC web site for available inventory landed me at your Madison store. I inquired via email about availability. Tom McConnell responded. Tom was timely and precise with his responses to my questions.I personally do not like the in person sales experience at dealerships, if anything good has come out of this pandemic in the world of retail, it is auto dealers reinventing the way they interact and sell to their customers. As far as I am concerned, Zimbrick has nailed it! We had great electronic back and forth both email and text. When it came time to discuss trade, I emailed a few specific details and pictures to Tom and he came back with an offer. Not only was the sale price of the vehicle fair and in line with others, Zimbricks trade value hit my number on the head right out of the gates, of course with the understanding that if once seen in person there was anything discovered that was not disclosed the number could be reduced, in the end that did NOT happen.I agreed to move forward. The truck was actually in route to the dealership. Tom called when it arrived. We set a date to pick up. I drove my old truck down and not 30 minutes later I was driving back north with my new truck! I did not finance the new truck, I declined all the extra stuff (warranty, service contracts, undercoating, etc) there was zero pressure from the dealership challenging any of my decisions. While the delivery was fast, Tom was in no way rushed to get me out of there, that was my doing based on my confidence level with the features of my new truck and pending snow storm that was going to make the trip home a lot longer than 4 hours. I know he wouldve taken all the time I wanted had I felt the need to learn more about the truck and or the dealership services. But since I am 4 hours north, learning about the service department or other dealer features was not necessary.I have purchased more new trucks in my lifetime than I can recall, this was hands down the best buying experience to date! Cheers to Tom & Zimbrick, should another GMC be in my future it will be hard to not turn to you.

Very disappointed with this dealership. My husband & I drove almost 2 hours for an appt to test drive a car. After standing around for almost 10 min someone finally came to help us. The guy who we had made the appt with was not there, which he told us that morning he might not be, but no one knew who we were or what car we were there to drive. Finally they got it figured out & we drove it only to find that the back up camera wasnt working. We said we werent interested unless it was fixed & were told that they would have their service guys check it out the next morning & they would call us. We had a call from them the next morning & were told that they hadnt had a chance to look at the camera yet but that they would that day & would call back the following morning. That call never came... My husband got an e-mail from Car Gurus 2 days later telling him that car had been sold. Very unprofessional & inconsiderate staff!

I had a very unpleasant experience with the sales staff at Zimbrick Buick GMC west. After weeks of looking for the vehicle and options I wanted, I found a vehicle at a different dealership in Green Bay. I gave the VIN number and stock number to the sales staff at Zimbrick. After agreeing on a trade, the two dealerships agreed to trade vehicles. I worked on pricing, trade in and agreed upon bed liner. We were just waiting on delivery of vehicle. I followed up for the next two weeks and truck still hadn’t been delivered. This week I once again contacted the dealership on a update. On Monday I reached out and was told truck had not arrived, on Wednesday I reached out again and was told by the sales manager that the truck was sold to someone else. Now let me remind you that this was the truck I found, the truck I gave the VIN to Zimbrick, the truck that was traded for and being shipped to Madison for me, and the truck that was sold out from underneath me. Please use caution when working with the sales staff. Zimbrick just lost 50,000$ of my money. Very disappointed

Very positive experience with Zimbrick service team. The services we requested were completed very well. Complete inspection thankfully uncovered other items some of which we asked them to complete, one item will have to wait until Ive got room in the budget. Looking on the Internet it seems like a common problem with this GM product. Power steering line is leaking, and will require a lot of labor hours to access and repair.

Had a digital coupon for 8qt full synthetic oil change & tire rotation. Rep wrote the work order and sent it back. When my vehicle was finished, rep said, Oh they gave you a better deal than what you were originally supposed to get. I was pleased until I got home and realized that they had used conventional oil rather than the full-synthetic I was supposed to receive. Hence the good deal, I guess.

Had a little issue with my truck. Called Zimbrick, they made an appointment right away.Came in today. My service writer Will was very courteous and professional. Wrote up the order and got the process rolling. Answered all my questions.Even during these hard times for everyone, he was in great spirits.I was walking around outside and saw them taking my truck in the garage, Nate the tech, working on my truck, said they believe they knew the problem. Got me fixed and out in roughly 2.5 hours.I bought my vehicle, almost 3 weeks ago. Everyone I have ever dealt with at Zimbrick has been truly amazing. I’ve never seen a place where everyone seems happy.Best dealership, I have ever dealt with. Everyone has an off or bad day. It’s human nature, I just don’t see it with these folks.Thank you again, for making my day easy and great. By the way, went out for a 100 mile drive. Mpg is up and the problem seems to be fixed.

People were not wearing masks all over the dealership. I counted 5 employees in a very short period of time. There was a sick man in the service center working & I was expected to stand 3 feet away while he was sneezing and blowing his nose. Not only will I not come back & I am looking to trade in my car for two new cars but I made sure to tell everyone possible on Nextdoor about this dealerships lack of concern around my safety.
