Dont waste your money. I ordered a roast beef and swiss on half a sub. Paid $10.52 for it. Sandwich was thinnest I ever received from a deli. If I hadnt taken it to go, I would have returned it and demanded my money back.

Overpriced & insulting customer experience. Lack of cleanliness within store. Almost $50 for two below average subs, water & drink. Be prepared for a lettuce bed and red onions galore & to feel ill after. At least the tomatoes were good.

So I particularly like Main Street submarines and order from here 1-2 a week recently as I’ve recently found this place on door dash. A few pervious reviews were concerning. But I’ve eaten here a lot the last 2 months and the food is always fresh. They get my order correct I’d say about 8/10 times. The food is pricy but with covid hard hitting the food industry I don’t mind it. Now one thing I was very disappointed in was there home made mozzarella it’s very good but the taste is not always consistent but that’s home made I guess. I didn’t like that they were out one day and Instead gave Store bought mozzarella still in the wrapper that goes for around 8-9$ that was completely in-acceptable especially for what I was charged for it. All in all you could do worse your gonna spend a bit and order from door dash or Grubhub so you don’t have to deal with the staff.

Ive ordered food from Main St. Subs on a half a dozen occasions and each time I was very satisfied. Ive enjoyed subs, salads, chili, and most recently, the blackened cheeseburger.

Working across the street, I decided to grab a cuban hero here. I have got to say it was AWESOME! Fresh pork, Boars Head Ham, deli pickles, deli mustard and freash bread. I am so glad to find Mom & Pop places because they love what they do and at Main Street Submarines, it shows. Come on by and tell them Cuban boy sent you!

The subs are good. And outrageously expensive. A whole turkey with cheese is $21. And not very generous with the meat at that. I thought accidentally charged me for 2.

Best subs in Morris County! The bread is soft and they stuff the sandwiches perfectly. Their staff is friendly and they have pretty much anything you can think of there from soups to ice cream! I grew up in Morristown and would frequent there. I’ve since moved out of state but when I do visit I make sure this is on my list of places to hit up while in town!

My sister worked for them years ago and said the owner fought with Boars Head because the owner didnt see a problem with selling expired meat. NO THANKS

Past this place 1,000 times. Stopped in on a Sunday got a few sandwiches for the family. Everything was very good! The workers were great.

Best subs in Morris county. Old school, no frills, FANTASTIC sandwiches. Maybe the best coffee as well. Fast, efficient and great service!

I order a pork roll sandwich with two eggs on a round roll to stay. The guy comes out with two eggs with cheese on a roll and as I went to the bathroom I noticed that he was the same guy at the cash register making my sandwich with no gloves. I will never be back to this establishment and a huge red flag for everybody who decides to ever come here. The guy who actually took my order wrote the order down and still got it wrong and did not even have the decency to wear gloves. Its unbelievable

Extremely friendly family-own business. Very concerned regarding customers having to wait, good eye contact and very fast and prompt. Although not really known as a pizza shop-they have the best tasting pizza in NJ and their prices are very modest.

Pizza taste good but and it is somewhat expansive. Subs are just OK does not come close to the ones at C Js Deli located in the same town. The lady that works at the register (owner I guess?) always looking angry and doesnt show any sign of gratitude. I will give my money to someone else.

We get subs here all the time. They’re very big and can easily be shared. The #6 (Italian) is excellent!

Rude. First call and just had a few questions yet a have to go we are busy yet was calling on things I would be a regular customer on. New in town and how awful to get greeted that way. If busy perhaps say can I kindly call you back would be welcoming. No thanks. If good food and nasty people servicing no thanks. Not worth it.

Nasty nasty attitudes by all! I ordered through door dash, their menu that is listed on door dash doesn’t list drinks or chips to add to my order so I call them, 3 people later....no one knows what to do including the owner!So I placed my order on the app subbed a small chili for chips & a drink since it’s arounc the same price,I call them back to tell them about the change & shes nasty & about it saying what is this? Why did you put that in if you don’t want chili!She was one of the ones I spoke to in the first call!I snapped back & said well if your menu was correct I wouldnt have to be inconvenienced by having to call you about an order I just did online! Give me chips & a coke instead of chili!

Got there as they were starting their closing clean up.... The rude guy says we are closing but what would you like... I explain that my kid want pizza. He went to to tell me he wouldnt dirty the pans for a few slices... The owner see me walking out and asks them to make a pie. Little did I know I would have to buy the while pie... I wanted to feed my kid so I paid and got the hell out of Dodge.

Good grub, nice selection of sandwiches and other foods. Staff is kind and polite and they have a great deli counter.

Store is getting long in the tooth. Selection limited by medium size. Larger Costcos on Route 22 in North Plainfield and in Sprinfield have better selection and much better samples. Lines are a rule in checking out st almost any time during the week or on weekends. Hire more checkout staff.

Absolutely the worst customer service. Pay attention to all the other 1- and 2-star reviews and you will get the picture of this establishment. They randomly decide whether they are going to make items on the menu or not. It took me three times ordering garlic knots and them telling me no that I became tired of being treated like a piece of garbage. Food is ok, so If you hate yourself, this place is for you.

Expect a long line, especially during lunch hours, and expect to still wait on that line even if you ordered ol in advance. Food is great, but the lady usually at the register could use some Customer Service training.

Pizza was too oily and floppy. I dont know what changed the pizza use to be crisp slices.

Anything they sell here you can get somewhere else, and you can argue forever about which is better, EXCEPT they make the definitive Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich. Also, the hand-written specials on the glass display case are unmatched anywhere. If theres a sign for chicken noodle soup, you know its the best youre ever going to have. Theres regularly lobster stuff - sandwiches, salads - but scoring one is like a lottery thing; they go fast. And theres a spicy beef with sauce triple decker thingie that I submit is the best sandwich Madison has to offer.A BIG PLUS HERE? The local kids working the counter. Its like checking out future CEOs!

I’ve been going to Main St Subs since the 90s when I was a kid. Now my kids love it - this place is the real deal, we travel across towns to buy the sandwiches.

Tasty sub but massively overpriced.For that price I would have expected triple the amount of meat.And Im still hungry.

I hate to write upsetting reviews. But I tried an egg ham and cheese roll and it was very soggy and the ham and egg kept slipping out. I also did try a wrap before and it was a kind of bland.

We get subs here fairly often on our way out of Chatham, and they always make for an excellent, filling lunch.

Dont go here, subs are now a joke as you can see from the picture. Two slices thick of roast beef is not acceptable for the price theyre charging and this is just one example. Their pizzas are also just bland and oily, (since they started years ago) their quality used to be OK and its just a scam now. There are so many better options for fast great subs and pizza, go anywhere but here.
