Our Honda is and has been an excellent investment. It may not be a luxury brand, but our Honda drives and feels like luxury (with all the special extras).We recommend Madison Honda.
Simple 70k service on my 2016 Pilot. Service was finished quickly, I had no issues or concerns. I appreciated the waiting room and the monitor that lists the status of cars being serviced. All in all very pleasant.

Ive serviced three vehicles at Madison Honda over the years. One was purchased at the dealership. The service department does a thorough without overselling. The team does a good job putting you in the drivers seat allowing you to decide what service you need before the work is done. I also like the convenience of being able to wait for the vehicle or leave it. Overall, Im happy with the service.
This is the first dealership I have worked with where it feels more like youre working with your local mechanic. They are going to make sure they do what is needed for your car and no more than that. Madison Honda has always taken great care of our needs and worked us into their busy schedule. The work is always done on time and they are very professional. I appreciate the fact that they dont keep you waiting when dropping off or picking up. We have brought our car in for larger, regular maintenance visits and they notice when some items have already been addressed or recently replaced and they take those off the list. I arranged for a service appointment online for the following day which could not be easier. My vehicle was taken promptly and the work completed on time. Sure, the cost was higher (not as much as thought) than one of the franchise auto service stores, but there is comfort knowing the maintenance was performed as recommended in the manual. Only suggestion is a car wash would have been a nice finishing touch that other dealers perform. Most importantly, I will be back.

I eagerly walked into Madison Honda in search for a preowned vehicle too purchase as my first car. The first interaction when I walked in was with a man that gave me a extremely rude response too the question “Are you one of the people that can assist me?” He answered with “Did you really just ask that, do you not see the blue shirt?” I’ve never felt so disrespected and unwelcome when making any purchase. I still sucked it up as I was really determined too purchase the civic. The test drive went well and I really did like the car. When I went down too talk to him about a price. He insisted I gave him my contact information, and when I told him I don’t feel comfortable with that he again gave me a rude retort. I told him I just wanted too negotiate for this car but he refused until my information was given. Out of all the 6 Honda dealerships I went too, none of them were this persistent on getting my personal information. After I once again said “no thanks” He immediately shot up and walked away without even looking at us and said “Have a good day”. Out of all the dealerships I went too, I’ve never had an experience go this sour. I was dead set on purchasing that specific car so it’s a shame it panned out like that as I will not be returning. How this man is in sales is beyond me.

Wish there was a zero star rating. This past weekend we went to look at new cars. We met a very nice salesman, Manny, who showed us the Honda Pilot. Guy was a star and this review is no reflection of him and his service. Nice car overall, no complaints and we were definitely interested. My wife, who is a vegan, asked him if the seats were leather as we prefer a car that minimizes leather or harm to animals when possible. Not a deal breaker, but if we can minimize stuff, we are all for it. We get its not for everyone but it’s our choice if we can help it. Anyway, Manny didn’t know so he asked a saleswoman, who was senior to him and who I don’t recall her name. She was pregnant though so if you see her, steer clear cause of this. He said are the seats leather? Her response, absolutely. He then said well they are looking for a leatherette, cause they are vegan and she immediately switched her answer and said “oh, no they aren’t leather, it would be way too expensive for something like that.” What sort of dealership would sell a car to someone, knowing they care about animals and don’t want to hurt them, just to make the sale? I don’t care if you are vegan or not, the fact that this salesperson, who was a manager or someone senior, would lie like this to our face, proves they CANNOT be trusted. Our loyalty is gone. I will go elsewhere for service now and for new cars. Also, it’s 2021. We can look EVERYTHING up online now so of course we can see if it’s leather or if you have a leatherette! Our car right now is a CRV which is leather and not vegan as it was before we cared about that stuff. So either all Honda’s are faking leather (cause it’s too expensive) or this person flat out lied to our face just to make a sale. Sorry Manny, great dude, but I’d rather pay more for service going forward to avoid a company that employs someone like this.Bottom line AVOID unless you want to be lied to!Zero point zero

After having a really bad experience in another Honda dealership, we went there, and everything went on smoothly. Manny Cobar helped us through the process, and he was really helpful.They offered a good deal and did most of the work through a couple of phone calls which saved us some time.However, in the end, they forgot to give us the headphones and remote control for which we had to make another trip to there to get them.
Walking from the Madison train station, I showed up at the dealership in desperate need for a car because my 2019 Fit had been flooded and totaled during the Ida deluge in New Jersey. Over ten years my wife and I had been happy with three Fits and the service at Madison Honda. Sales representative Alton Brown gave my situation sympathetic personal concern and went out of his way to solve my problem that same day. I drove home in a new leased Accord.

I was very easily able to schedule an appointment online for a Sunday morning, where Donald greeted me eagerly and with a smile. I had annual service done on my 2020 Civic Si, and it took just under 90 minutes. I appreciate this location becuase it also is within walking distance of both Madison and Chatham, so instead of sitting around a lounge for a while, you can get a bunch of steps in and grab a bite. Honestly, since I have a service package and service doesnt cost me anything, i cant wait to go back.

They assigned me to a sales representative by the name of Manny who was perfect. He was all about what was best for me rather than just looking at me as a number. My process was a complete 10 and Id recommend anyone going there to check him out.

These guys really wasted my time today! I have been a client for 13 years and can vouch their sales staff has downgraded. Came in to get a new lease and got a silly salesman using old gimmicks like: downgrading the current leased vehicle as if we had not maintained it well… snooping around our personal finances to see how much cash in hand we had... constantly changing down payment and lease pmt numbers to see if we’d fall for it… doing the classical “let me get your car keys” and coming up with a new number as a last attempt… The prior sales team was tough to negotiate but was transparent and importantly - not showmen. That’s what I liked about Madison Honda and the reason I drove today 2 1/2 hours to renew my business with them. That’s no longer the case and I decided to walk out. Salesman could have spared me time by checking all my current vehicle maintenance on line with car VIN. They won’t be earning my business again
0 star if I could.Recently my husband had an appointment and the whole service was only supposed to take 2 hours. My husband was there for 6 hours!!!! The staff/management did not do anything to make things better, not even offer a loaner so that he did not have to wait that long. He basically wasted his ENTIRE day there, which we could have used to run errands. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!!!

I went to Madison Honda because they had the Mercedes GLA I was looking for. When I called late in the day to ask for more details, the receptionist said Kyle would get back to me the next day which I completely understood as it was 8pm already. Not 15 minutes later, Kyle called me back. Kyle was great to work with, sent more pic when I asked and answered any questions I had. I ended up buying my Mercedes from Kyle but had one hiccup. The day after I came home with the car the check coolant fluid level light came on. I went to Advance Auto and they advised that I had no coolant fluid in the system, bought coolant and they filled it up for me but the light still came on. When I called Kyle he spoke to his management and service and told me that the system needed to be burped. I brought the car back (Jay at service was also great) and had to leave it for the day so that they could take care of it. I love my car and this is no reflection on Kyle but I did feel I should not have had the inconvenience of having this problem to deal with at all. I do love my new car!

I just bought my 2021 Honda CR-V EX AWD from Madison Honda. Kyle Becker was the salesman. I searched several dealership.Most sales people told me very little except stock was low. They would not discuss any fees, etc. on the phone. Kyle was the only one who gave me down to earth information and pricing. I decided to go to Madison Honda. Kyle worked with me on pricing especially when there was an issues with my trade in. The VIN number said my trade in was FWD not AWD. He investigate and actually had the cars underside examined which determined that the VIN listing the car as FWD was wrong. As a result he got me $4,000 more for my trade in. End result, I got the car I wanted at a really good price. I know as a friend of mine bought the exact same car from a different dealership and paid more. I arrived about 7:45 AM this morning for routine service, was greeted promptly by a service assistant who was appropriately masked. He had my appointment information and checked me in efficiently. I waited in their visitors lounge, which felt very safe: clean, adequate spacing, universal masking, ongoing cleaning. My vehicle was ready to pick up in under an hour with all service performed and explained. Checking out was quick and assistants were behind shields and masked. Overall. I was kept safe and the service performed efficiently. Full credit for the whole process!

We went to Madison Honda mostly out of curiosity to check our options. We had a Honda Accord from 2014 but my husband wanted an upgrade. We saw a car and we just inquired about financing but decided maybe we should wait since the monthly payments weren’t exactly what we were looking for. Matt and the financing department went out of their way to help us. It took some time but we ended up leaving with a new certified Honda. What was just another Saturday turned out to be the day we traded our car. The facilities were very clean, everyone was wearing their mask, staff very friendly. I mean...there’s nothing you don’t like about this place. Matt explained all the details, was very friendly and he never really pressured us into trading. One star because while I feel they have some quality people that do quality work - whomever they have in service answering the phone either needs training or she just hates customers or maybe she hates her job. Nonetheless, she is a front line employee. She turned me off with a condescending attitude and subsequently I have made the decision to have my car serviced elsewhere. Its not difficult to be polite and respectful. It takes very little effort. My advice, train her or replace her. Maybe Madison Honda should add a secret shopper as part of their assessment of employees and the service they provide to customers.

Looking at the reviews I wasnt optimistic, but when I came in late Saturday I was pleasantly surprised by the service provided to me by Steven Dann as I came in looking for a certified used car. Though the dealership was to close in 1 hour, he never rushed us, was patient, honest, and didnt play any games with us. He was upfront about the car, what work was put into it by the dealership, went over detail over car fax....and even when we decided to buy the car, even though it was 15 min til closing, again, he didnt rush and helped us through the whole thing way past closing at 8pm. Even with the negotiation process it was no BS and again, it made us feel good about the whole process. I would certainly come back to Madison Honda again and refer Steve Dann to anyone. He followed up with us after to make sure insurance, detail, etc was to our liking. Next car we need - coming back to Steve! Thanks again!
