Delicious and authentic Mexican bakery, as soon as I stepped one foot through the door it smelled like heaven. The baker came up to me right away and asked me if I had any questions. I asked him, “what smells so dang good!?” He has just finished baking some biscuits and they were absolutely delicious. The cakes looked out of this world! I will definitely be back.

We got here at 11 am driven by the reviews on Google. We wanted to get something for breakfast. While they had many bakery and cake items available they told us the kitchen was closed so we were not able to eat or order anything.

VERY RUDE SEVICE TO LONG TIME CUSTOMERS FROM THE OWNER.My family and I have been loyal customers to Pan & Pan since they opened up. However, recently I ordered a cake and the decorations that they told me I was going to have didnt happen and the text on the cake was incorrect ( didnt have anything to do with the occasion). When the owner found out the the cake was wrong, instead of apologizing to me he got mad and blamed me in a very rude way. The whole time I was talking to him he was speaking to me very loud and rough. Then he turned around and walked away. I will not do any business with them anymore.

For the longest time - I only stopped at Pan y Pan for their bakery (which takes me back to my childhood in south San Antonio, when my Dad would take me to this little panaderia every Sunday).I hesitated to order from their lunch menu (otherwise known as El Poblano Mexican Restaurant) because I have been let down by many Mexican restaurants in Madison.Lets just say - I have been such a FOOL for waiting this long to experience the cuisine @ Pan y Pan!!!FRESH INGREDIENTS- AUTHENTIC DISHES - GREAT VALUE - GREAT SERVICE - FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE - CLEAN VENUE!Little did I know this unsuspecting restaurant, that used to be a Popeyes, held such treasure! I had a feeling it might because most restaurants close within a few years of opening and this place has been here since I moved to this side of town.Stop in!!!-especially for their chips and guacamole - you will be happy to add El Poblano Mexican Restaurant/Pan y Pan Bakery to your list of go to spots when you crave FRESH Mexican food, AUTHENTIC polvorones, and pan dulce!
