There’s no other way to begin this review other than by saying that Golden Glaze is a local institution in Madisonville. They’ve been in business for decades and the exceptional quality of their flagship glazed donuts speaks for itself. They’ve only recently begun to have any local competition to speak of. You could say another of their signature products is their “Long Johns” which resemble an eclair visually, but are actually oblong shaped donut pastries. They’re chocolate glazed and you can have them plain unstuffed or stuffed with two different choices of cream filling. If you’re wanting the best selection from Golden Glaze, you’ll want to get there as early as possible on any given day because the popular varieties tend to sell out within a few hours. Very reasonably priced as well.

Donuts were fresh as was the biscuits and gravy. Did not care for the way they fixed the eggs. Great service.

Undisputed best donuts around! Also, has other good breakfast options such as biscuit and gravy, or a variety of biscuits and croissants. Also, I think its important to note that Golden Glaze also has a great lunch menu and quick service. Their deli sandwiches are stacked high with meat and your choice of toppings. They do not skimp on the quantities trust me. Ive eaten there many times on a 30 minute lunch when Ive been working close by and always had plenty of time to order, eat, and get back to work within my break time. All around an excellent place to grab breakfast and lunch in Madisonville.

I asked Which of these carafes is regular coffee?She said Both. We dont believe in decaf. Sold.Not the best breakfast Ive ever had, but I left with a sandwich, a donut, and a coffee for $4, so I was happy.

Im not sure what happened but the donuts have changed. They taste just like Krispy Kreme now. We also had the biscuits and gravy. Somehow the gravy was sweeter than the donuts? Service was great though. I am sad we made a detour in our trip to stop here.

Great place to eat and grab breakfast customer service was really friendly and very respectable in this world crisis and I really do appreciate that thank you for being so great! I highly recommend if youre in town stop by grab your hot donut or breakfast sandwich.

Not only do they have amazing donuts and pastries, but they have the best breakfast sandwiches and glazed cookies around. My daughters class does not have a class party without Golden Glaze cookies. Thankfully we always get enough for the adults too. They also allow you to call in an order as well.Ive always had friendly service, even when they are super busy! A small local gem. Almost everyone in Madisonville knows about golden glaze. Its a well earned reputation. Their breakfast sandwiches are warm and delicious with freshly cooked bacon on them. The donuts are excellent.my favorite donut items are the sugar ropes. Im always served with a warm smile and a friendly greeting!

Golden glaze has the best quality as far as homemade dough goes....Cookies are fantastic as well! I highly recommend the biscuits, sausage or bacon...but its first come, first serve-well worth waking up early to claim your very own!
