Updated Review:My original review had no description, but the business has since replied to me. Whats strange to me is the owner appears to assume and guess which reviewers are which. Nobody in this shop ever gave me a recommendation to go anywhere. This shop was extraordinarily unhelpful and didnt appear to really want to help or find a solution to my problem. I went to J.E. Rice for plumbing supplies, NOT bike parts, so his reply is meaningless. Perhaps I came in on a bad day, Im not sure. I would like to give this place another shot but I have mixed feelings. Hopefully the owner can make this right and learn not to be as accusative/defensive, and maybe we can work this out. For now the 2 star rating stands. The only reason Im not going for a 1 star is because the staff didnt seem aggressive or mean. I wouldnt say they were friendly, either. Just neutral.Again, I hope I could give this place another shot, but I dont have anything I need for (or done) to my bikes. Great mom & pop bike store. The owner is really good at his craft, personable, and knowledgeable. Too bad the current bicycle shortage is wrecking havic on the bicycle industry. I hope they survive it.

They were able to replace a tire/tube for a 20 kids bike and repair gears, shifts or whatever else was worn out from two smaller bikes. They also took time to educate me on why these issues occurred in the first place and how to prevent them in the future. Great experience and well definitely be back with any other repairs.

Cool local shop, service was friendly, straight-forward (no frills) and knowledgeable. I came in to replace my brake pads and he adjusted my gears and lubed the chain for free just because it needed it. Prices are honest as well.

Danny and Tracy (The owners) are some of the best people in Manassas. They are generous, and fair. Our community needs more people like them. They have a lot of fans and they will treat you with respect. They have gone out of their way to help me with repairs on my bike and advice.

Came to Bull Run Bicycles on a friends suggestion; since hes almost a pro cyclist himself. Talk with Tracy about a bike assembly; she couldnt have been more nice and professional about answering all my questions. I met Danny when I picked up my bike; he assembled it in a day and the bike rides smoothly. Hes a great guy to talk with and let me know that I can come back anytime within 30 days for free; to fine tune the bike to make sure things are running great. They have great pride in their work and it shows. Definitely give them a chance; I will definitely be back myself.

Brought my bike to them to ship to another continent. It was packaged so professionally, even the mechanic receiving it was surprised. Not a single thing out of alignment. Took 15min to put back together! $40 well spent.

Since Bull Run Bicycles has opened I have depended on Danny, the owner and mechanic, to work on all our bikes. He has performed difficult and extensive work on my very high end bikes. He is truly a professional bike mechanic who does great work, and does it in a timely manner and at a VERY reasonable price. I have always been able to bring my bikes in for minor adjustments which he does on the spot. The Manassas cycling community is very lucky to have Bull Run Bicycles. It sure beats having to go to the big chain bike stores!

Blew a chain in the middle of a long ride and was fortunately just a few miles from Bull Run Bicycles. I Fred Flinstoned over there and they had me back riding again in minutes. Even gave the rest of the bike a quick look-over for free while I was in there. I wouldnt hesitate to use them for all my bike servicing.

I have been going to Bull Run Bikes for 3 years now. Danny does a great job answering any questions I might have. I have had him go through two of my old 80s BMX bikes and also bought a mountain bike for my daughter from here. If you are looking for a full service/sales bike shop I highly recommend giving them a try, even if it is a little bit out of your way.

I have a couple bikes rebuilt to keep everyone in my family riding....When it was time to buy a new bike I went back because of the great customer service I received. My daughter loves her MARO flightline 24....

This bike shop is fantastic. Danny goes out of his way to help out as much as possible.I had him do a frame swap, which ended up being pretty difficult as the new frame had an obscure BB and different adaptors had to be ordered until the right one was found. He went above and beyond standard service and even took about 20 mins to head outside and watch me ride, then adjust the bike to suit. I live 25 mins away, but still take the extra drive to get there.If my wife would stop working overtime, I would get down on Tuesday afternoons for the bike ride that leaves there. Really good people.Hard to find genuinely helpful and friendly bike mechanics, but Danny is definitely one of them.

Danny and Tracy stock only the best in quality bikes, parts and accessories, and what they dont have they can get fast and at prices better than web prices. They also have an array of quality used bikes.I was introduced to Bull Run Bicycles while my son was training for a local triathlon and blown away by their cycle knowledge, very competitive prices and down-to-earth friendliness. My son said that everyone who bicycles seriously knows about Bull Run Bicycles and say its the place to go. After doing my research, I decided to purchase a Haro Flightline 27.5 Trail bike and a Yakima Holdup 4-bike rack from them. I enjoy working on bikes myself so I asked Danny if I could just get the bike in the box and assemble it myself. But he said sorry man, thats what I do - Im the tuner. And good thing I listened...Wow! The bike is flawless and Ive never been able to tune my own derailleurs to be as fluid and responsive as Danny has! And after about two weeks of seeing how well my Haro performed, my wife went down and bought a Haro Flightline-2 26 bike.Danny & Tracy run a quality bike shop and I recommend them wholeheartedly.
