I have been using Virginia Water Conditioning for the past 15 years. They have always provided excellent service. I was surprised to learn they had been taken over by Culligan but decided to give them a try anyway. Two service techs came out and were unable to do much. I think because I have an older and somewhat complicated set up they did not know what to do. They wrote down the number of the UV bulb and said everything looked good and would get back to me with a price to replace the bulb. I have not heard back.
Hands down, the best Nova company for bottled water and water conditioning. I have done both services with them, but having moved I am currently in the bottle delivery service only. Reliable and reasonably priced. Better than city water and like a fantastic well.
We purchase a water softener system from them about 1 1/2 years ago for about $3,000. We purchased a home about 10 minutes away from our current home and called them about moving the system to our new home. First of all the guy who answered the phone was very rude. I literally thought he was joking at first, but quickly realized he was serious. As the phone was ringing I told my daughter do the dishes. Without knowing they had answered, the man mocking said do the dishes?!. I laughed and said: Oh sorry, I was talking to my daughter. He was not amused. I then went on to tell him that we purchased a home about 10 minutes away and I wanted ot know the cost of moving the system to our new home. He seemed to be appalled by this question and said: I dont know, we would probably charge you double to do this. Amongst the very awkward pauses and the overall rude tone of his voice I began to realize he was being serous. I did not remember the specific cost of installation so I asked him what that was. He seem as though this question inconvenienced him as he looked it up. Then he to me it was $750 to install so they would do it for about $1,400. I told him that was much more that I expected. He said well, you can have someone else do it. Again I was shocked by his rude reply.Throughout the phone call I kept my cool and gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking he was kidding. But that was the last straw. I firmly but politely said well I will have to think about it and get back with you, thanks, then I just hung up.In fact, I WILL have someone else install it.There slogan is Service is our Specialty. Seems they need to train there workers on Service or change their slogan.
Everyone that I spoke to was very professional and helpful. They showed up on time, were in identifiable uniforms, and left no mess. The technician was out in less 2 hours and it cost me less than I expected. Footnote; This system had not been serviced in 18 years
The company is a very stand up company. The owners are true to their word and back up everything they say. Hard to find these days. I will continue to use them as long as I live in the area and will recommend them to all of my friends.
Equipment failureLast Saturday to the backwash did not turn off and the water ran a few hours and rusty water came out of the faucet. I called several times Saturday and Sunday to no avail, left messages but no one responded. This is totally unacceptable that no emergency help is available on weekends.I rate this as low for customer support
Left message last night. This Co. Sent someone early today. Found problem. Courteous, professional service. Thank you.
Backwash started July 4. I called July 5, drove by July 6. Not open on weekends and no emergency contact. Called Monday and for appointment for Tuesday with a window of 8:30 to 9:30 am. Technician came but wasn’t able to resolve problem. He wasn’t familiar with the system and the technician that did, retired. He checked, took pictures then came back and said a part needed to be ordered. I called that same day after he left to find more information about when we might get our system fixed, left message detailed message. No response. Called again in afternoon, voicemail full. Called next day, Wednesday, left message. Got call back that the person who needs to order part is out until tomorrow.Very disappointing that a client would have to wait so long and still not know when a solution may happen. We’ll see what happens tomorrow.
Nice service team, but deceptive business practices. Received a reminder in the mail for routine $135 service, billed $314. Get quotes, dont use their flyers as ANYTHING CLOSE to notional for what you should expect for service charges.
I ordered water for my grandmother because I have moved out of the area. She became very ill and spent 2 weeks recovering in the hospital. Upon arriving home we noticed visible Bacterial matter floating in the water. We were very disgusted and displeased. We contacted Almost Heaven Water also know as Virginia water conditioning corporation and they delivered a refurbished cooler and water. Not only did the cooler leak all over here hardwood floors the new water they delivered went bad after a week with visible bacterial matter. How can a company knowingly sell fungus water. Sad. I rather deal with deer park sucky customer service over dangerous water. I also know of a company that canceled services
Great customer service. Everyone did a great job.
Weve used Virginia Water for the last 7 years and have had a positive experience with their service. They dont push you to buy or replace things you dont need.
Bad service
