We contracted with Hill Roofing for new roofing (as well as a skylight replacement), new siding and new gutters/downspouts on our home, and we could not be more pleased with the performance of the work and the results. The work was completed promptly and with great attention to detail, and the price was (in my view) quite reasonable. The project supervisor assigned to our job was accessible and responsive, and the workmen were polite, professional and attentive to our wishes. (In fact, they worked through some of the hottest days of the year without complaint in order to get the job completed on time.) Of note: during the completion inspection on a Friday, the project supervisor spotted a couple of very minor imperfections that I hadnt even seen; workmen arrived the very next Monday to correct those imperfections! That is excellent service.We have received many compliments from neighbors about our beautiful new home. I have no hesitation about recommending Hill Roofing to others, and I would happily use them again in the future.

Hill Roofing replaced my 18 yr old asphalt single roof, replaced gutter covers, replaced two skylights, and replaced some pvc trim.It went very smoothly from the start (providing the free estimate) to re-adjusting the gutter covers (follow up work less than a week later). Hill Roofing replaced my roof in early April 2021 and its been about a month since the work was done and everything looks and works great.What was extra special about the work by Hill Roofing was how they worked with me to replace a broken pvc trim board on my house that was attached to utility lines. During the estimate through the start of the project, Joe instructed me on the best way to coordinate with the power and communications companies on removing and reinstalling these utility lines with two different utility companies.On the day of the project, Edwin worked with the techs from the utility companies to have as little down time as possible for our utilities, and then completed the project by the end of the long day. There was some follow up work on getting the gutter covers perfectly installed, which Hill Roofing did less than a week later without problem or additional payment.

Hill Roofing did an excellent job with our roof instillation. Easy to schedule and completed in two days. Took a lot of care to ensure that everything outside was covered and did a thorough clean up. But that was the easy part! The most challenging aspect was getting the insurance company to pay for the new roof. Even though there was storm/hail damage they refused to cover the cost.In fact, it took months of back and forth negation with the insurance adjusters. What a frustrating and exhausting experience! The magic that made it happen was the excellent Hill roofing inspector-consultant I worked with, Doug Miles, who coached me on how to deal with the insurance adjusters step by step. Doug has first-hand experience working in the insurance industry and was knowledgeable on how to work with the adjuster to get my roof covered. It was a long battle and there is no way it would have happened without Doug’s ongoing support. Truly appreciate his dedication and perseverance. A rare find indeed.

Hill Roofing came out to give me a quote on repairing my leaking attached shed roof and through their professional consultation we came to the conclusion that it needed to be replaced. The old one was definitely a DIY build from the original home owners and the shingles were not a suitable solution for how flat the structure is.They replaced my roof with a composite material, listened to all my concerns about making sure it was both functional and beautiful since it is prominently seen from our main floor living room window, and gave me a great price based on all the other contractors I had out to quote the project.Everyone I interacted with from the folks who handle the phones to the consult process to day of install were great. In November 2020 a tree hit our roof due to a high wind event and caused significant damage. After recovering from the initial shock and dealing with insurance companies, I started reaching out to roofers for quotes for a repair or replacement. I reached out to three roofers - two of them spent very little time on my roof (even though one came out three times) and one never showed. Clearly, our project was going nowhere fast.I finally reached out to Hill Roofing in January 2021 and Doug Miles came out to our home. Doug spent more time on our roof than all of the other companies and three insurance adjusters *combined*! He took his time and explained everything about our roof, the damage, and our options. He even went the extra mile and met with one of the insurance adjusters and has been instrumental in helping us navigate the incredibly frustrating and lengthy insurance process. After much consideration (and patience by Doug), we opted to replace our roof and 4 skylights. There was zero pressure by Doug for us to make this decision - he provided both a quote for repair and a quote for replacement and was more than willing to go either way based on our decision. However, knowing the age of our roof and the other problems, we opted to do a full replacement.On the day of installation, the crew showed up and got to work right away. They worked tirelessly throughout the entire day. I was worried because a storm was coming and I wasnt sure they would finish. I did not need to worry! I just had Hill Roofing Corporation of Manassas, VA install a new roof along with new gutters and downspouts.From the start to set up an appointment for an estimate I dealt with Jo Ann Tantoco in the main office.  She was not just pleasant, but well informed about any initial questions I had.Joe Murden came out to do an estimate and spent at least an hour explaining the whole  process, including samples of the different kinds of protective layers and their purpose and the type of shingles best suited for my home.  He was always available by phone for any questions I had.The project manager was Edwin Ventura.  Edwin showed up with the crew on the first day of the installation and was always available by phone should I have any concerns or questions.  He was well informed, always explained everything in terms that I could understand and was very helpful.At first I was hesitant about going forward with such a big job as roof replacement, but the good reputation Hill Roofing had and the positive experience I had with each person I dealt with from Hill made my choice a good one.

I had a great experience with Hill Roofing. Background: I have a 31 year old roof. A couple of years ago I was concerned that it was pretty old and had a roofing guy look at it; he said it was fine so I didn’t worry. About a month ago, after a heavy storm I had some shingles on the ground and some leaks in my roof. I got three quotes: one from a guy that works for a roofing company and does other roofs on the side during weekends and two established companies including Hill Roofing.I was impressed by the professionalism and attention of all three. All bids were comparable in terms of what they proposed to do; Hill Roofing was about 10% higher than the other two. Doug from Hill Roofing pointed out that the amount of roofing damage I had was likely to be covered by insurance. He was highly responsive to my questions and repeated emails. Although Hill Roofing was the most expensive, I decided that the quality of the estimate and the responsive of Doug made them “best value” and moved forward with them.It truly felt like a partnership every step of the way. Early on, Doug pointed out that it would take a few weeks to work through the insurance company and came out the next morning to tarp all the leaks. He also pointed out several deficiencies to my existing roof (missing drip edge and bad/missing flashing all the way around). After I got a very reasonable estimate from the insurance company, Doug went back to the insurance company pointing out a few things that were missing. He got me another $1,000. Their estimate included a base price and several options. Doug made it really easy.Edwin the project manager got me on the schedule quickly and his team showed up early on a Monday morning in the stifling heat. As I had questions, Edwin was super responsive by phone/text to answer them. After I decided mid way through the job that I wanted funnel guards he worked with me to add them to the contract. Every bit of the work was professional. The workers were polite (if unavoidably noisy), worked quickly, protected my plants and flowers, and spent two hours scouring my yard for debris and nails. I just can’t say enough about how pleased I am. Highly recommend them.

The sales person was incredibly respectful of Covid needs, but also deafness, and most importantly my time - he did not waste it!We contracted with them, and everything was very clear, from what we were getting, to the warranty information and who to contact before during and after. I booked an appointment with Hill Roofing Corp. and Mr. Doug Miles was assigned to come out for my houses roofing evaluation. He actually took an effort to get on top of the roof for a full inspection and allowed me to know whether I need a new roof or not, since I bought my property (Alexandria, Va) in 2018 and the inspector said the roof probably has about 2 years-ish life span left. With Mr. Miles inspection, he gave me a complete different opinion which tell me that my roofs condition is still in good shape with 5-7 years left, and nothing to worry about. He even offered to clean a clog for my rear gutter with no charge. I have never seen any company with this honesty and professionalism. I have had a few roofing companies came out to get a good sense of pricing, and I think Hill Roofing gave a very fair price for the scope of the work - i.e shingles and gutter replacements. ( I asked Mr. Miles just to understand the pricing/cost aspect for budgeting/priorities purposes). Whereas, the other companies I have had appointment with, 5 out of 6 (excluding Hill Roofing) just did the usual, which gave me the quick presentation of their products/warranties, and how they will go about to replace the shingles. I highly recommend to do a proper research online to understand the various brands of shingles so you can discuss with contractors and you can see who are just try to sell you their products and even if you dont need one ...yet. Also, what are the basic steps in replacements. I would go to Hill roofing when my roof needs services.

Hill roofing has made my experience with a contractor as smooth as can be. My brother is a general contractor and he was completely blown away with the process. The salesman Doug was very responsive and informative. He informed us the project manager was a “sharp individual” and Edwin fell nothing short of that! Leaky Roof Issues Quickly Resolved!!We rented our home while working overseas. We returned and noticed water damage on drywall caused by holes in the roof. Hill Roofing quickly came out and put a temporary tarp over holes on three separate roof elevations while a determination was made as to the cause. Improper install/removal of TV satellite dish mounts was assessed as the cause. Hill Roofing came back quickly after being requested to make all the repairs to include new shingles in the damaged elevations as well as removal of residue satellite accessories.You need to be on the roof to notice the difference between the existing roof shingles which are 10yrs old and the new ones. No leaks, roof integrity restored, quality of work excellent to include prep and clean-up activities. Telephone interactions over customer service topics with admin staff - notably Angela - were superb! Professional, accurate, timely, great follow-thru, and pleasant. Overall a great experience! (Taking bids essential, one of the companies we asked to bid came in about 50% higher than others.) . Project Manager Edwin was friendly, efficient, effective, and reliable, keeping us completely informed and solving all day to day issues completely to our satisfaction. The work crew was diligent, careful, and highly skilled. Patricia and Angela were professional and customer friendly as our office contacts. Carefull roofing job by excellent crewMr. Hill did a great job examining our roof and making a recommendation. He came highly praised by a neighbor whose roof he recently replaced, and spent several hours explaining exactly what the job would entail and what products he recommended. I felt his examination was honest and complete. The crew arrived on time and spent 2.5 days removing and replacing the roof, gutters and a skylight. I was glad to see the crew was careful to use safety harnesses, and the crew chief let them take a 2 hour break in the middle of the day to rehydrate and get out of the hot sun on 90 degree days. Lots of noise couldnt be helped, but they did a great cleanup and the new roof and gutters look great! Should be the last roof I ever need on this house.

My experience with Hill Roofing is probably the best experience I have ever had with a contractor in my life. Very patient with all my questions, very experienced, and incredibly thorough throughout every step of the process. They were slightly more expensive that the other two contractors I had in but the explanation as to why, and the quality of the work more than justifies the price. I recently had a USAA insurance claims person out here looking at a siding issue and when he got down off the ladder he said Whoever did your roof did a great job. That was a random, unsolicited comment. I would HIGHLY recommend Hill Roofing.

Very professional from bid to completion. Mr. Hill came out to do the initial estimate for my town house roof replacement. He took his time explaining every aspect of how the job would go and what each part of the roof system does. It was actually quite educational. He was also the only contractor I received a quote from who went in to the attic to assess the condition of the roof deck and structure as such the eventual quote I received was all-in no hidden extra costs. The work was scheduled quickly and proceeded without a hitch despite logistical challenges the position of my town house lot presented. The project manager spoke with me a couples times throughout the day to explain how things were going and was over all very professional. The job was completed in one day and the clean up was very thorough.

The entire process went very well from start to finish. Mr. Hill was very honest and flexible in negotiation. The crew showed up at 7 AM and finished everything by 5:30 PM same day (the job was estimated for 2 days). The final result was excellent.

We purchased a home where the main roof was recently replaced by Hill Roofing, during a super windy day the metal sheeting (which was not replaced by the roofing company) was blown off of our wrap around porch. I called Hill Roofing and they were super responsive, able to match their previous shingle work for the house to the porch, cleaned up the blown metal sheeting, covered exposed wood, gave us a quote, was willing to talk and work with insurance, and best of all kept communication coming even though they were slammed due to the amount of jobs being called in due to the storm. I never had an issue with talking to someone or wondering where I was in their line up. They were professional, the job was done quickly and looks great. I highly recommend them for their knowledge, professionalism, communication and price!

Hill’s roofing was referred to us by a good friend who is in the construction business. I got two estimates and although Hill’s was a bit more expensive their presentation and what was included in the cost was superior to the other company. From start to finish everyone I met was fantastic! The office staff is very pleasant on the phone as well as being very helpful and immediately responsive to any questions and concerns that I had. Adhemar made the presentation which was extremely thorough. He provided a booklet that explained all the products. He went through each item as well as options to be considered. He was professional, extremely knowledgeable, and a very nice guy. He answered any and all questions I had, and I never felt pressured or that he was trying to “upsell” or get me to do things that were not needed. He and Edwin continually checked on the job when it was in progress and they checked in with me regularly as well to make sure I was pleased with everything. The crew that did the job was excellent! They arrived early on the designated day and stayed until they were finished, which was pretty late. Cleanup was spotless! We also had the gutters replaced and that crew was equally fantastic. Again they stayed well after dark to get the job done in one day and again a spotless clean up. Our roof and gutters look great and just in time for the snow! I have never had such an unpleasant call from someone I have never spoken to. I emailed to asked for a quote for gutter work - Angela called and was immediately outright hostile. She said they would never do any work on our gutters unless we paid to replace them entirely. Apparently, they are very annoyed that the prior owners refused to hire them to replace the gutters. But why take it out on me? Life is too short to waste time with contractors with such an attitude.I note the response. I was not offered an estimate, indeed I was told the company would never even look at my gutters, apparently still furious with the prior owners for not having the gutters replaced. A house inspector inspected the house and the gutters were only deemed to need minor repairs. That is still true more than a year later.

Very unprofessional staff, please avoid Roxanne and this business if possible. They dont honor their prices.
