I want to commend Gerber Collision and Glass in Mandeville, Louisiana for their outstanding work on my Avalon. Several tree branches fell on my hood and windshield and Gerber made it look brand new! I received an estimate for the repairs on my vehicle. The repair was going through my insurance company so I wasn’t as concerned about the cost. I was more concerned about the job and the timeline. The original timeline to repair the vehicle was 15 days. This was important to me because I did not have a rental and that was something that I stated to Gerber. My vehicle was not ready until “26 DAYS” after I dropped it off. If I would have been told the truth about how long it would have taken, I would have brought it elsewhere. But I’m sure they knew that.

Involved in a minor hit and run and dealing with someone elses insurance was a PAIN. I had tight time constraints for repairs (due to work trips and Thanksgiving) and was stalled for weeks in dealing with the other persons insurance. I decided to bring my car into Gerber anyway and Becky was the Absolute BEST in addressing my concerns and helping me get everything together - even though I was not officially a customer of Gerber.During a difficult time, all of the staff I interacted with was great. Answered a million questions! They helped make sure I had a rental comparable in size at the time I dropped off my vehicle (The Enterprise rep even reached out to my claims adjuster on my behalf to help with the hassle and came from a different location on my drop of date to make sure I was take care of - WOW).Gerber made sure real time estimate costs/material text updates were sent to me via their portal.I would highly recommend using them for any and everything. Id hate to be in a hit and run again, but in the event additional repairs are needed, theres no other place Id bring my vehicle. Friendly staff and extremely accommodating. They felt like family and Im confident they did their best with my car.

This place has been awesome. Their service is friendly and informed. They have an insurance agent who works there as well as an enterprises rental place inside. Its a 1 stop shop for car accidents.

I had an appointment for 9 and didnt see anyone for the estimate I scheduled until 1015, I sat in an empty Lobby near the counter. Then, the guy doing the estimates saw a 9:30 appointment when they walked in, before they saw me even though I had been sitting since 830. I understand there an auto shop, and you never expect to get in and out of there very quickly, but it still sucked that a 9:30 appointment. Seen at 9:45 when I was a 9 appointment and Ive been there since 8:30. Secondly, I had that appointment 3 weeks ago today and I have yet to receive a call back about scheduling service for the dent in the side of my car. I dont know if its because the woman that hit me as insurance is paying for it, and this is their service shop that they selected, or if its just because the shop is super busy.

I have to say these people are awsome. My Mother took her car there and was having other issues with it and they helped her above and beyond. She is a senior citizen and I was out of town. Thank you very much for taking such care for her.

I had a bad encounter with a competitor and the rear view mirror. The refused to perform the work.I called Gerber and they were able to come out the next day and their price was cheaper. Highly recommend them.

Gerber stands by their work and made sure we were satisfied with the repairs on our Acura. We will use them again if we need any body work in the future. Good people here.

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! Confirmed an online appointment and quote for a windshield replacement. Took off of work to make sure I would be available. Then I get an email from Diana Muro saying they need to give me a new quote and the only opening they now have is tomorrow!!!! I also had several unreturned texts from someone named Shane. Worthless, avoid.

This company does not even deserve 1 star. The folks are fantastic, the body work they perform is awful (and that is being kind). They had my vehicle for 2 weeks, I went to pick it up and the back hatch door had a hole (missing inlet) in the interior, the spoiler they reinstalled was so loose it nearly fell off, the front bumper was not replaced..the grill was popped out and there was still damage and scratches. 1 week later (3 weeks total to replace front & rear bumper and back hatch), I arrive to pick up my vehicle, the rear bumper was replaced with an after market plastic piece, I stepped on it and it LITERALLY flattened ! Legos are stronger than this! I compare it to boneless skin or Gumbo. The front bumper was the same, with an added paint nick (not a complete paint job). I almost tore off both the front and rear bumper with a slight of hand. My vehicle is completely de-valued. I drove in with a Nissan Rogue and drive out with a cheap Fiero. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money for a quality job and go somewhere else. I’ll be going to the dealership tomorrow. I’ve had body repair done before..THIS WAS THE WORST JOB I’ve ever witnessed! I should’ve just purchased the part and installed myself...would’ve been 100 times better.

I have been going to Gerber for years. Highly recommend them they do outstanding work and the service department is wonderful.

Have good standards across the board. They understand having a wreck was punishment enough.
