We had a couples trip to the emporium this evening. It was our first visit, the gentleman working was very knowledgeable, upbeat and helped us find the perfect item. We regret not getting his name. Funny thing is. He even told us about the no cell phone policy I store. Which is why I cant ask his name. Thanks again for all your help guy!!

I considered giving less stars because of the inconsistent business hours but decided against it. Without a doubt, the new owners have pulled this business out of the toilet. I went in the other day and was amazed at how much merchandise was in the place. It was almost overwhelming, but the employee (I think it was Meghan) was extremely helpful. My only issue with this business is that I dont think anyone knows what time it actually opens. Sometimes 1:30, sometimes 2:30. I guess if youre interested in visiting this business, you may want to go at around 4pm, just to be safe

Dont even want want give a star. We are from out of town and went there last night at it was about 9:20pm. They were leaving and locking up saying they closed. But their time says 10pm. So we go back today and wait until 1pm when the sign says they open and nothing. Its now 2:45 and I have called several times and no answer. Will never give them a cent! We were totally prepared to spend at least $300. But now we will drive an hour away to spend money elsewhere. This place is a freaking joke!!!!

Very RUDE staff! We were in with our soon to be married friends looking at items and quietly joking with them to help them feel more comfortable during their FIRST visit to an adult store... when we were asked for our IDs after about 15 minutes of having already been in the store (we are all in our 30s) because according to the LOVELY RUDE woman (who sat behind the counter and didnt even greet us or ask if she could help us find anything) we were acting childishHUGE turn off from ever coming here again.

WOW is all I can say! Completely a different store! Prices are WAY better and WAY more toys. Megan and Troy are so nice and helpful. I disagree with the negative reviews. Clean nice area not creepy at all. Will be coming back!

Worst management ever. I went in and the management has no idea what hardly anything is. There prices are 3x more than any other adult shop. You can go anywhere and buy the same thing 3x cheaper and go online and get for less. They have no idea what they are doing. I went in four different times and talked to 4 different people and still its the same thing and everyone else I know that has worked there or been in has had the same problems. The good reviews have to be being made up or they are new to buying and using adult toys or they know just as little as the people working there. There selection is also small. They have a lot of the same things but not a lot of different types of products.

Dang nice job guys. Happy I can finally come right down the street and not all the way to Slidell (very creepy place, have to go down a dark long side alley just to get to the door) vs adult emporium makes me feel safe due to its in a nice safe shopping center with Tuesday Morning, Papa johns and other stores. The young lady was very nice and helpful. Five stars for sure.

Never open, never answers the phone

Got a job there for a couple of months, Ive been in retail over 17 years and this was the WORST job Ive ever had. There is no communication between anyone, they mess your pay up constantly, they have immature management. Just ridiculous. There is no corporate office to call when you are having issues with anything. Its basically family owned and the owners could care less about any problems you have with their managment because theyre like family. Dont work here, worst adult store ever. And FYI, they mark their products 3-4 times what it sells for online. Save money, be patient and order online. I felt bad leaving my customers because they said it was finally nice to have a friendly and helpful person. This place is shady and i dont know how they stay open. Stay away, there is a much better and more professional store located in Slidell, its worth the extra time to make that drive if you cant wait for an online order.

Timing are different from advertising I got there for 12 and sign on door said 1 to 10pm do I came back at 1 and the door was still locked and shop shut I wasted my time and did two trips get your act together please.

A long time ago back when this was called the Toy Box, I worked at the video gallery across the street. I got a call one night when I was managing it and there was a man on the phone. He said, Hey! How I get to you? and I gave him directions from Slidell to Covington/Mandeville for how to get it us and he hangs up. About thirty minutes later, he calls and says, Hey, what exit? and I tell him again. In the background I hear a women and he says, I told you HOE. We missed the exit.. I hang up. 15 minutes later, he walks into movie gallery and asks, Do you sell adult videos? and I direct him to Toy Box. This story has lived with me for ages and always makes me laugh 10 out 10!

Garbage place. Terrible selection. Ridiculous prices.
